Building Details UI



This week we are showcasing our building details UI.
Every building in Starport Delta has its own operation details.
These details vary from building to building but can include:

  • missing and met dependencies
  • integrity level of the building
  • cost of upkeep
  • population working or residing in the building
  • operational items that the buildings make use of
  • evacuation progress
  • trade agreements
  • building activity - which shows any stowaways, infestations or lost family members
  • upgrade state and possibilities

Time for another closed alpha update to Starport Delta from the Cloudfire Studios team! This update adds a new campaign mission, new disasters, new music and various other updates and fixes.

What's new


  • unlock the seventh campaign mission
  • add electrical storm as new disaster
  • add radiation burst as new disaster
  • add two new sets of music
  • add some 3D models for the mission objectives and security scans
  • add a language chooser for the first launch of the game
  • add new effect for hex selection in build mode
  • update the space worm attacks to respond to how many times you choose to airlock people

Wwise Integration



The Cloudfire Studios team are pleased to announce our integration with Audiokinetic's Wwise audio engine for Starport Delta!

This integration has allowed us to have a fully situation-dependent musical score so that as circumstances change, Wwise's interactive audio responds in kind. When the going starts to get tough, we use Wwise to amp up the intensity of the music and provide a more immersive experience for the disasters that are coming your way.

Time for another closed alpha update to Starport Delta from the Cloudfire Studios team! This update adds a new mini-quest system, a new music system, UI updates and various other updates and fixes.

What's new


  • add new security scan mini-quest system, searching the station for resource rewards
  • add new UI to show daily income and expenses for you Space Bucks
  • add view of selected building and update title background on the tile details UI
  • integrate Wwise
  • add new music system that triggers different pieces of music based on gameplay

  • massive update to our space backgrounds with colourful new nebulae

PAX East 2020!



The Cloudfire Studios team are excited to announce that we are bringing Starport Delta back to PAX East for 2020! We'll be at booth 32080, so if you're going to PAX make sure to stop by, say hi and give the game a go!

We had a great time at PAX East in 2019 (has it really been a year?!) meeting players and fans, talking with other gamedevs and seeing some of the other great games on display. Previously we ran our PAX giant TV giveaway and it looks like we may do something similar again this time!
