Characters, Classes, and Abilities

  • Warrior:

    • Slam now does bonus damage on targets with at least 1 combo point.
    • Guard II added at level 14.
    • Slam II added at level 16.
    • Fortitude II added at level 22.
    • Cut III added at level 23.
    • Cleave 2 added at level 24.


  • Elementalist:

    • All tier 1 elementalist spells now have a 100% chance (from 70%) to apply their combo condition (ignite, stagger, shock, chill).

    • Water Spells:

      • Frost Breath I (AoE) moved from level 12 to level 8, giving elementalists their first AoE 4 levels earlier.
      • Cryobeam I (tier 3) moved from level 9 to 11.
      • Ice Blast II (tier 1) added at level 16.


    • Fire Spells:

      • Bloodboil I (tier 3) moved from level 11 to 10.


    • Air Spells:

      • Shockwave I (AoE) moved from level 14 to 13.
      • Charged Bolt I (tier 2) moved from level 5 to 7.
      • Thunderstrike I (tier 3) moved from level 10 to 15.
      • Zap II (tier 1) added at level 17.


    • Earth Spells:

      • Pelt (tier 1) moved from level 4 to 9.
      • Vine Whip (tier 2) moved from level 7 to 12.
      • Hurl Boulder (tier 3) moved from level 8 to 14.
      • Thorn Burst (AoE) moved from level 16 to 21.
      • Pelt II (tier 1) added at level 19.



  • Hunter:

    • Slash II added at level 13
    • Flaming Arrow II added at level 15 with 100% chance to apply ignite combo effect.
    • Distract moved from level 18 to level 15.
    • Frozen Arrow I now applies a -1 snare (movement reduction) for 1 round.
    • Frozen Arrow II added at level 17 (applies a -1 snare for 2 rounds).
    • Balestra II added at level 18.
    • Vanish II added at level 21.


  • Healer:

    • Smite cooldown increased.


  • Replaced Lajena's teeth with small, wooden dowels.


Farming / Trapping

  • Fixed a bug where producers didn't display the number of days remaining in the tooltips.
  • The error popup for when a producer is full now displays the machine name instead of the producer type.
  • Fixed a bug where placing a trap removed access to the remaining traps in that stack, until you opened your inventory to refresh the data from the server.
  • Fish trapping bug fixed (should be able to catch fish now!).



Chat and UI

  • Fixed a bug causing the chat window to send messages when the window got defocused without the player pressing enter.
  • Fixed a bug causing the character limit on chat to not get enforced.
  • Fixed an issue with rounding health/mana for tooltips.



Combat

  • Fixed a bug causing mobs to stop moving after a braced attacked damages them, without casting the finishing blow, when they should have continued along their path.



Crafting

  • Fixed a bug where removing a deconstructing item didn't start the countdown for the next item in the queue.
  • Fixed a bug having to do with discarding recipes.



Gear and Items

  • Fixed a bug where moving a stackable item from one bag to another didn't remove the item from the original bag if it updated a stack in the new bag.



Mobs and NPCs

  • NPCs no longer buy back items for 100% value. This was never intended for obvious reasons (and non obvious ones also, like people using this to effectively "rent" expensive items for free).



Misc

  • Fixed a bug where attempting to trade with someone after previously offering to trade, but leaving the area before they could respond, would stop you from being able to offer them another one until you relogged.
  • AFK timeout increased to 2 hours.

Strange Visitors have arrived in Askagard with odd tales and bizarre questions about the world of Primordiax. They are awed by the City of Askagard and relieved to have found friendly civilization.

But something about them seems a bit off. Their manner of speech is odd but that is the least of it. Their religious zealotry is extreme and they speak of the Gods in hushed tones with tremendous reverence and a hint of fear. Why would they hold the Aetherial Pantheon in such nervous regard?

The Elders of Askagard have officially welcomed the Visitors to the city but beyond that have reserved judgement about their presence. The Visitors have become quite popular among the locals and haven't paid for a meal or a drink in the Rolling Stone Inn since they arrived. They've become the toast of the town and fascination with their strange tales shows no sign of diminishing any time soon.

The RSI tavernkeep has scheduled a party in their honor and invited the adventurers of the land to attend as well. The novelty of the Visitors plus the presence of the kingdom's greatest heroes should make for quite an event.

You are invited to attend and decide what you think of these Visitors and what their arrival portends for the kingdom.

2017.10.12 - 12 New Dungeons, More Newspaper Improvements, Tons of QoL and Bug Fixes!

Dungeons

  • 12 new Tier 3 (20-29) Dungeons (RPDs) of 3 distinct types implemented in multiple regions.
  • New RPD graphics added to existing RPDs.



Market & Newspaper

  • Adds older than 1 week expire.
  • Newspapers now "chunk then filter" rather than "filter then chunk" which will make every newspaper have a lot more ads.
  • Fixed a bug that did not display an error when you've reached the max number of favorited stalls.
  • Newspaper ad stall names now shrink to fit.



Base of Operations

  • Removed brick cost and added plank cost to BOO Room Layout change.
  • Fixed BOO furniture and upgrades not appearing/refreshing properly.
  • Fixed a bug where opening the upgrade Stash popup and then closing it caused the max Stash size to be asymptotic.
  • Fixed a bug where stash / shared stash capacity values did not change if viewing a filter not matching an item added.
  • Fixed colliders on the level 22 Boo.



Farming / Trapping

  • Fixed a tooltip issue when quickly moving the mouse between producers.



Chat and UI

  • Fixed a bug where selecting the tell channel via button after talking in another channel made the chat window forget who the last tell was sent to.
  • Fixed a bug where creating a new tab displayed all of the chat text without senders.
  • Fixed a bug where pressing enter closed the tab options and didn't save/update the settings.



Combat

  • Fixed a bug with charge 2.
  • Mobs should no longer spawn off-combat grid ( very visible in L shaped encounters)
  • Fixed a bug where status effects causing you to not be able to flee combat weren't displaying correctly in error popups.
  • Fixed the loot received grab n go chat message display.



Crafting

  • Fixed a popup error message when attempting to add an item to a deconstructor that is at maximum capacity.
  • Fixed the scroll bar in the recipe book.
  • Fixed T2 leather armor to require T2 resources instead of T1 resources



Characters, Classes, and Abilities

  • Customization/costume changes update to viewers immediately upon character sheet close
  • Cleave fixed to properly hit adjacent mobs only, where adjacent is defined as "to the left, right, above, or below" the target (diagonal no longer considered as "next to" target)
  • Healer AoE CCs area of effect reduced.
  • Lion Kick cooldown reduced.



Social (Clans, Parties, Religions, etc.)

  • Upon selecting "Send Tell" in the Social window, the window now closes as to not block the chat window.
  • Fixed a bug where you couldn't inspect characters from chat if they weren't in the area.
  • Character portraits are no longer retaken when the party status is updated.
  • Fixed a bug causing the full difficulty list to not display in the party window.
  • Increased the maximum clan rank name length to 13 (from 8) characters.



Gear and Items

  • You can now drop reward items on bag slots.
  • Buff potion durations increased from 1800 to 3600.
  • Fixed several BOO items and machines to take up the correct amount of space when placed



Mobs and NPCs

  • Bug fixed that caused mobs to sometimes spawn off the grid.



World

  • Fixed a bug causing mobs to spawn in hills.



Medallion Shop

  • Fixed a bug causing item previews in the medallion shop to not work



Misc

  • General improvements to reduce memory use and increase performance.
  • Fixed a couple bugs with character portraits solo and in parties.
  • Improved memory performance in the Stash window.
  • Fixed a bug where the Founder's Cloak buff got multiplied when casting buffs on yourself
  • Staff chat icon changed from a green star to a green lilypad (Frogdice!).

Advisors & Advisor Applications

What is an Advisor?



Advisors are dedicated player volunteers who help promote, support, and preserve a positive community on Stash.

They have multiple roles:

  • Moderators: They have various moderation tools available to them to moderate chat and help make sure channels and the community stay positive and non-toxic.

  • Community Organizers: They organize and run events that engage the the community in creative and fun ways. They also participate in chat to keep things active so players feel comfortable jumping in.

  • New Player Helpers: They help new players get acclimated to the game and figure things out.


While all Advisors do a bit of all 3 of the above things, individual Advisors may specialize in certain aspects more than others depending on their personal skill sets and level of comfort.

2017.09.28 - More High Rank mobs in groups, AoE balancing, Looking for Group Channel

Mobs and NPCs

  • Previous HP scaling buff to mobs was reverted/removed.
  • Lieutenants, Elites, and Champions now have higher stats and more health.
  • Lieutenants, Elites, and Champions are now worth significantly more XP.
  • Parties have a higher chance of encountering Lieutenants, Elites, Champions, and Bosses.



Characters, Classes, and Abilities

  • Combat has become a bit too dominated by AoE. As a first small step towards balancing that, we have made two small adjustments:

    • Every AoE ability in the game received a 10% damage reduction.
    • Nearly every AoE ability in the game had its cooldown increased by 1 or 2 rounds.




Gear and Items

  • Fixed a bug where food that required a higher level that yours did not display in italics.
  • Shields should now properly display their block chance in tooltip.



Base of Operations

  • Fixed a bug where changing a Boo interior room layout caused the placed items to disappear until you left and re-entered the room.
  • Fixed a clipping issue with small beds.



Chat and UI

  • Fixed tells.
  • Fixed emotes for all other channels.
  • Fixed context menus of characters for new channels.
  • OOC channel tag now all caps.
  • Fixed a bug where pressing Enter at the same time as the last letter typed in chat would fire the the keybinding for that letter (if any).
  • Fixed /r sometimes changing who you're replying to.
  • Improved the Channel Indicator button text for a better idea of the current channel.
  • The name of the current tell now appears as a tooltip over the Channel Indicator button and the Tell button in the Indicator selection popup.
  • Added the Looking for Group (LFG) chat channel.
  • Fixed a bug where the context menu for characters in chat would go off the bottom of the screen.



Combat

  • Fixed major issue where certain combat scenarios spawned mobs outside of expected places



Market & Newspaper

  • Fixed a bug where viewed stalls' ads on separate pages did not highlight.
  • Newspapers are now in alphabetical order in the dropdown.



Social (Clans, Parties, Religions, etc.)

  • Party max size more stringently enforced at server level



World

  • When characters close their window after changing gear, customization options, costumes, etc, all other characters in the area now see this update.



Medallion Shop

  • Lemon Cookies of Mortis: Removes XP debt up to 10% of the XP needed for your next level. (1 death worth of debt at level 20+)
  • Hearth Beacon: resets your Hearth Beacon ability cooldown.
  • Summoning Stone: empowers the party summon ability accessible via the party meny (press: p)

Action Bar / Loader

  • Fixed a bug where spamming buttons on the Boo Actionbar caused errors to occur.



Base of Operations

  • Fixed a bug where viewing someone's stall while visiting their BOO would subsequently make your own stall appear empty to you.
  • Fixed a bug affecting processors that were placed in rooms other than the main entryway.
  • Fixed a bug where processors had no tooltip when placed in the Boo.



Chat and UI

  • The Interfaces menu now loads sooner so it opens more rapidly.
  • Added a link to Carazan's guide to the Help Index, as well as updated the links section.
  • The new Medallion graphic should be everywhere now.
  • Added Triads tooltip to player inventory.
  • Fixed a potential exploit with the trade command.



Combat

  • Flanking now properly factored in for players who started their round not flanking but move into flanking position before attacking.
  • Fixed a bug where action bar buttons were not getting disabled to reflect status effects.




Crafting

  • Alchemy: stat buff potions got a significant boost. Tier 1 increased +100% and Tier 2 increased +33%.
  • Fixed a bug where enchanted gear didn't show up in deconstructors that weren't the disenchanter.
  • Fixed a bug where the client didn't think items with the suffix "the ____" were worthy of being considered enchanted.
  • Fixed an issue with processors not outputting exactly the right amount.
  • Fixed the disenchant output for prefixes and suffixes (swapped them).
  • Alchemy, Enchanting, and Maker recipes that dropped on the x5 levels but had the same output as their x0 versions of the same tier should no longer drop. You can safely forget those recipes.
  • Offhand items can now be deconstructed only in the Deweaponizer.



Market & Newspaper

  • Increased number of ads in a paper from 240 to 360.
  • A new newspaper is generated every 5 minutes instead of 10.
  • Added "New Paper" time to the Newspaper.
  • Fixed a bug where you could spam page turns in the Newspaper to get more ads on a page than you should.
  • Filter button removed from newspaper. Two additional newspapers will be added in the future that do a better job than this button whose function was non-obvious and many people were unaware of.



Characters, Classes, and Abilities

  • Ice Knife - now properly does damage when it applies CC (root).
  • Willpower buff now properly grants +20 mana in addition to +WILL.
  • Elementalist tier 1 spells now have more detail in their descriptions to clarify what the ignited, chilled, shocked, and staggered conditions mean.



Social (Clans, Parties, Religions, etc.)

  • Clans: You can now kick/promote/demote members even when they are offline.
  • Added invite submit button to clan window.



Gear and Items

  • Offhand cosmetic items work properly now.
  • Fixed a bug where double-clicking and then immediately dragging an item caused the resulting icon to get stuck on the screen.
  • Fixed a bug where cosmetic weapons didn't display on offwielded weapons.
  • Fixed magic offhand tooltips.



Mobs and NPCs

  • Mob rank boost now dependent upon number of players in an encounter, not party. (Should end LDP finally!)



World

  • Characters arrive in communal encounters (e.g. Rolling Stone Inn) at a random spot rather than right at the entrance.
  • Fixed bug that would occasionally cause some PoIs (like Askagard) to not load properly (though you could still trigger them by walking onto them).



Medallion Shop

  • Medallion graphic updated.



Misc

  • Fixed a bug where objects that didn't have a BoxCollider on them (ie, had a MeshCollider) didn't show a tooltip.

2017.09.15 - World Map Auto Tool "Swap", No more LDPs, Weekend Events!

  • On the World Map, gathering in resource nodes now scans inventory for gathering tool. Combat is unchanged (you still need to make a choice about which tools to equip for combat harvesting).

  • Changed clan create dialogue to say 10,000 triad instead of 100.



Gear and Items

  • In the tooltip, not being able to wield an item due to class is now prioritised and ignores level if this is the case.
  • Stacking fix: quality now properly set when items are split (or any other time item A is created based on item B; item A's quality will be set to that of item B).



Gathering
