In case you missed the last news post, I will be streaming development on Sundays at 6:00pm Eastern Time, and weekly updates will be released on the "weekly" beta branch the day prior. Major updates will release on the first Wednesday of each month (Excluding April) and will include campaign content, new objects for the stage editor, and more.
Thanks for joining me in this journey, and I hope you see it through to the end!
Stealthscape Early Access Roadmap
Early Access Roadmap
During Early Access there will be a schedule to updates, aswell as Q&A/Development livestreams on Twitch. Here's a brief rundown of what's to expect.
Every Saturday
Every Saturday, a new build will be pushed to the "weekly" branch in the Betas tab. These builds will contain all new content as it's being made, but are less stable. Each week, you can expect around 5 new stages to play in the Campaign, along with new content as suggested by the Trello, aswell as you! Weekly builds will not contain story elements as they're being made, and will only be made available with major update releases. Major update builds are still pushed to the weekly branch so you don't have to swap between them when you want to play each one!
Every Sunday
Every Sunday (Excluding Tomorrow) I will be livestreaming the development of Stealthscape on Twitch at 6:00pm Eastern Time. The first bit of the stream will be me going over everything new in the weekly build released the day prior, aswell as what's planned for the current week. After this, I will stream regular development of the game, with some stage creation at the end. During this portion of the stream, I will be answering any questions you have in chat, and taking suggestions from those who have them. If you have the time to drop by, please feel free!
Every Month
Major updates will be released on the first Wednesday of each month (Excluding April). These updates will contain everything from the weekly builds released throughout the month, plus everything that was in the work behind-the-scenes, such as Story Missions! These updates are expected to include 1 new Campaign World each month, with new customization options and Stage Editor content sprinkled throughout.
I hope you're all excited for the Early Access Release of Stealthscape, the game releases in only 2 DAYS!!! So add to your wishlists now!
Time to answer some more questions that have been left unanswered
How much will Stealthscape cost?
The game will cost $9.99 USD while in Early Access, and during the first week the game is available there will be a 10% discount. However, you can pre-order the game right now at https://carsonk.itch.io/stealthscape to get a Steam Key that will unlock on launch.
Will the game be available for Mac/Linux?
During Early Access, there will be no Mac or Linux versions of the game. However, if there is enough demand, a Mac and/or Linux version will be considered for the full release.
Will the game have DLC or updates AFTER Early Access?
Once the game is released from Early Access, bug fixes and minor content updates will continue to come for free, as well as more stages to play once you've completed the Campaign.
Hope to see you all on the leaderboards on March 30th!
Stealthscape is finally coming to Steam in Early Access! Add to wishlist and mark your calendars, cause the big day's March 30th, 2020
What Does Early Access Mean?
After years of development, Stealthscape is in a fully playable state and is near fully-featured. But the Campaign will require more time to complete, and there's still so much planned for the game. But not only that, there's potentially so much YOU will have planned for the game. If you have any feature requests, new object ideas, issues, bugs or what have you, feel free to join our discord and let me know in the #feedback channel, I want this game to be the best it can be and I can't do that alone.
What's in the Early Access version?
2 Worlds in the Campaign (At Launch)
Gold Coins to find throughout the Campaign stages
Story-based missions you encounter between each world
Gauntlet Runs that have you speedrun through an entire world in one sitting
A fully-featured Stage Editor with limitless options and features
Steam Workshop support for sharing custom stages
An XP/Customization Unlock system that allows you to customize your ship with different models, trails, and FX
There will also be a weekly branch available which will contain more unstable builds, but you will get content as it's being developed. Development is being shared in the discord constantly.
What's to come?
More Campaign worlds (9 in total)
A Story completed in missions between worlds throughout the game
More objects, enemies and traps to create stages with
More customization unlocks for your ship
Gameplay modifiers that fundamentally change how the game is played in exchange for a point modifier
Statistics to get feedback on how you play
Steam Achievements and Trading Cards
Hope to see you all on the leaderboards on March 30th!

Long time no see! Stealthscape is back and will be receiving updates again! There's no schedule to these updates, they could be frequent and could be infrequent, but I will be posting update progress in the discord! Also, the monthly stage challenge will no longer exist for a while. I plan on bringing it back, but for now there are no challenges. However, if you create a stage and feel it is worthy of becoming a CAMPAIGN stage, upload it with the "Monthly" tag and I'll consider it for the official Campaign.
