I think I mentioned it before, but everyone that owns Outpost will get a free copy of Safari. Most of the Outpost content will be rolled into the other games, so what you're playing now will eventually be gone/absorbed into SB: Tactics or Safari.

Patch Notes - Beta1: 0.5.8 - 12/1/2015
Crop farming has been added! This is a pretty big feature and still VERY rough around the edges. Please see this forum post for details on how it all works: https://www.steambanditsoutpost.com/forums/index.php?p=/discussion/928/crop-farming-and-you
Added a new trade mission for selling your crops for gold. The interface for this is a bit different (and pretty temp). Clicking on the mission cost icon will open up a panel to select which crops to pack for the mission.
You can now rename your island and select which music track plays for people visiting your island. Click on the icon next to your island name to open up the Island Settings panel.
Removed a bunch of old resources and replaced them with the new stuff. We’re still transitioning to the new resource system, so expect crafting/harvesting to still have temp stuff for now.
Added a new NPC to Runner’s Rest near the market named Mr. Fixit. He’s a helpful little guy that can unlock stuff in the shop for you that we add in patches. Definitely chat with him after every patch :-)
Added a bunch of resources to the Market in Runner’s Rest.
Fixed: NPC’s on Runner’s Rest wouldn’t talk to players. They were super shy, but we had a stern chat with them and they’ll be more outgoing now.
Fixed: Game freezing sometimes after combat. We think we fixed it...

Patch Notes - Beta1: 0.5.5 - 9/9/2015
New Stuff
Player skills are in! You can now gain skills doing various things. Right now it’s mostly gathering stuff. Mining nodes, fabric nodes, and mineral nodes (for glass) have been placed around Griffin’s Roost and Rivets Aisle.
First phase of resource refining added to harvester buildings. This will be a work in progress over a few patches. More details on the full plan will be in the forums!
You can now store buildings and move them to your other islands. To store a building, start moving it and click on the Storage button (looks like a backpack next to the other movement buttons). You can place buildings from storage by accessing your main inventory.
Added click-and-hold controls. Hold your mouse down and watch your character move!
Free-cam mode has been added back in when you’re on your island. To unlock the camera, click on the camera icon next to the Movement Mode button :-)
Upgraded the engine to Unity 5. Expect some weird bugs possibly.

New Stuff

First phase of the desktop UI is in! You should notice smaller buttons for stuff based on your screen size.
You can now reset your character manually in the Options panel. No more waiting for Jason to get around to it in the forums :-)
A new vendor has been added to Runner’s Rest! Milly will sell contracts for followers you haven’t yet recruited. Her list is short, but will grow with future patches.
An Announcements window has been added to the main menu. This will help us keep you up to date with the latest news.
A stubbed out version of the intro is in. Right now it can only be accessed from the main menu. In future patches, there will be some better visuals and voice over for it.

New Stuff
Lots of tutorial/prologue changes.
Captain Harquin redesigned
Combat abilities now come in 3 flavors: Instant, Turn, and Charged. Instant abilities will not consume your turn. Turn abilities consume your turn. Charged abilities are pretty strong, consume your turn, trigger after a charge-up time, and can be interrupted by other abilities (bosses use these a lot, so interrupting them is a good strategy)
Added combat conversations for more story hooks during fights.
Added the Walkie Talkie to allow characters to remotely phone the player. This is currently only used by Jonas, but we’ll be using this all over the place eventually ;-)
The camera is now locked to the player while in their town (similar to Animal Crossing). The camera still is unlocked when placing buildings.
Clicking on something no longer moves you to it. Clicking on it again will move you to it. Now players can assess an enemy before auto-moving.
Default movement speed sped up a little.
Fixes
Lots of balance tweaks.
Lots of ability effects fixed.
Other fixes. (we really should keep better track of what we’ve fixed…)

New Patch: Beta0: 0.4.0.171 is up and running!
New features:
• Combat Update: Faster Fights, Cooler abilities, slicker UI, monsters updated
• Level cap raised to 19.
• The Atmid Survey Platform is a new area available to players ~ level 18.
• Tonics have been added! A tonic can be used for healing, or restoring energy, and some do both. Currently you can only find these from loot, but future patches will allow you to craft them and purchase them from vendors.
• Island Beacons have been added! Right now you only get one during the prologue, but we’ll be adding A LOT more for the Beta1 patch. Once a beacon is activated, you can travel to the island it’s pointing to. If a beacon hasn’t been activated, you’ll be able to trade it with other players.
• Tier0 resources and been changed to Tier1 resources. This change won’t be too noticeable unless you had a lot of Tier0 resources before (they have ‘_OLD’ at the end of their name now). You can sell those at Runner’s Rest for some gold since you won’t need them for anything.
• The foundation has been set for item augments, gadget, and combat companions. Future patches will introduce these.
Fixes:
• Existing players can once again purchase new islands. You’ll need to talk to Archi and be level 12+. He’ll have a conversation named “(Prologue Fix)”. Simply choose that conversation and island purchasing should be unlocked in the shop!
• More optimizations for mobile and tablet devices.
• Combat abilities rebalanced.
• Minor quest fixes.

Introducing Griffin’s Roost, a new island using our latest storytelling and dungeon systems. It is available just after players complete the tutorial (level 5). Explore the mystery of a flox research station and uncover a dastardly conspiracy! Exciting! :-D
AoE abilities like Cleave are now in the game. Ever run into multiple enemies that you wish you could attack all at once? Now you can!
More ability effects have been added.

Fixes
We have meticulously tweaked and modified existing stat formulas behind items to bring about better combat. On top of this, several items have been tweaked since the stats weren’t quite up to par. Combat should feel better across the board.
Just about everything relating to monsters has been changed behind the scenes. We now have a lot more control when balancing them.
Fixed some quest icons not appearing.
Ability balancing for lower level items and monsters.
The tutorial sword was unable to be crafted, has been fixed.
Captain default equipment and weapons were not set to their initial unlock level, making them underpowered.
Patch 0.2.7 is LIVE!
Hello, Skyrunners!
We looked at all your feedback and changed a few things for Patch 0.2.7
New Stuff: First phase of the new main menu is up. You’ll need to select Log In to get to the old login area.
Starting gear and prologue items stats/attacks fixed.
We have resumed testing on mobile devices.
How combat functions behind the scenes has been improved and is being balanced. Much more to come on this.
Combat health bars changed for better clarity.
New combat abilities are now being phased into the game. Look for many new abilities in the coming patches.
New music has been added to a few areas..
Fixes: Island load times should be significantly faster.
When respawning, captains would only have partial health.
Combat islands are being improved.
Some enemies in the prologue had incorrect attacks and stats, making them much too difficult.
Minor game performance improvements.
Enemy stat tweaks on a variety of islands.
