Hello, Adventurers!

We're thrilled to announce the upcoming full release of Stolen Realm, marking its transition out of Early Access on March 8th, 2024! This milestone introduces an array of new features and enhancements, and for the first time, will be available on Nintendo Switch and Xbox with cross-platform play support.



What's New in 1.0:




  • Complete Narrative Journey: Embark on a quest filled with mystery as you delve into your missing father's journal, following his footsteps across the realm and into depths of increasing madness. The quest to uncover the truth behind the stolen realm awaits.
  • Introducing the Nature Class: Choose your path as a Druid - transform into a ferocious werewolf or command the mighty power of the dragonkin. Summon a host of forest allies; will the noble moose or the cunning raccoon become your trusted companion? Or perhaps you'll utilize nature's bounty to ensnare and weaken your foes while bolstering your allies. The possibilities are endless, in both the campaign and roguelike modes, and we're eager to see the strategies you devise.
  • Streamer Game Master Mode: Take on the role of dungeon master for your favorite streamers. Decide the fate of their journey by voting on the formidable foes and daunting challenges they encounter. Whether you choose to aid or obstruct their progress, the power is in your hands as you shape the narrative of the Stolen Realm.
  • And So Much More: The list doesn't end here; there are countless features, enhancements, abilities, and events being introduced in this release that we simply can't cover in this announcement.

Update v0.22.18 - Improved Translations and Various Fixes

Features



  • Character portraits are now color coded by player

  • Fishing is now triggered on one specific hex near the water rather than click on the water itself


Bug Fixes



  • Fixed issue that cause the client player to get stuck after a boss battle if they remain in the loot menu while the host goes to town
  • Fixed various issues with joining a game mid progress
  • Fixed issue where you couldn't join a hardcore battle in progress as a client
  • Fixed various lockups caused by mashing buttons during a loading screen
  • Fixed issue where if you died in hardcore mode, the hardcore death screen would show up anytime you die after than even when in softcore mode
  • Fixed issue where you could access the skill bar controls while a UI window is active on a controller
  • Fixed issue where Character Menu wouldn't close when selecting Change Party or Change Difficulty from the pause menu
  • Fixed issue where your cursor would disappear if you try to cancel out of the difficulty select menu on a gamepad
  • Fixed issue where the connection name would overlap the character image on character tiles

  • Fixed issue where Shield Mastery wouldn't effect all stats on the shield
  • Fixed issue where you could fish infinitely if you return to main menu then continue
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the game to lock up in battles with enemies that use fear mechanics

  • Fixed issue with incorrect values on item modifiers when the the prefix and suffix both alter the same attribute
  • Fixed issue where auras visuals would grow when the player model grows
  • Fixed issue where Might and Intelligence bonuses weren't reflected in the stat values for summon damage and health in the character menu
  • Fixed issue where multiple characters could spawn on the same hex when entering a quest

  • Fixed an issue that caused connectivity issues when a 6th player connected to the game
  • Fixed issue where all battles after the first battle of multi-stage battle events (like Might of the Ymir) would result in an instant win

Changed Mirror Shard targeting to function like other summons instead of having to target the caster

Update v0.22.14 - Endless Mode, Balance and More!

General



  • Boss health and damage reduced by 10% globally in both Campaign and Roguelike Modes
  • Boss health further reduced for the following difficulty settings: Adventurer -20%, Classic: -15%, Veteran: -10%
  • Reduced enemy health in Roguelike Mode globally by an additional 15%
  • Enemies no longer Enrage, but instead they have Control Resistance which gives a chance to resist control effects.
  • Bosses no longer are immune when a phase change is triggered
  • End game content (Endless Mode) now has its own normalized difficulty setting and is unaffected by the difficulty controls
  • Blood Mask Boss no longer summons Primed Fire Barrels but instead summons a stronger second wave of enemies


Skill Changes



  • Ice Wall: You can now summon Ice Wall on 4 hexes and that don’t need to be connected. Also they now are able to be attacked and attackers take cold damage.
  • Various summon fortunes have been changed to have a 5 turn cooldown instead of only being able to use once per battle
  • You can now use Purify, Cauterize, and JJ's Miracle Cure All when Disabled



Bug Fixes



  • Fixed issue with some UI not being translated into different languages
  • Fixed issue where canceling out a tutorial in character creation would also try to exit you out of character creation
  • Fixed issue with being able to use hotkeys during keybind user polling
  • Fixed issue where if you dash onto a battle drop you wouldn’t pick it up right away
  • Fixed issue where Dashing Strikes was hitting 5 times instead of 4
  • Fixed issue where it was possible to not get hard fight rewards in the next room in Roguelike Mode
  • Fixed issue with Excalibur not working correctly
  • Fixed issue where if you spawn in a shine you wouldn't get the status

Hotfix v0.22.9 - Various Bug Fixes

General



  • Added 'Unstuck' feature to quickly reload the quest at your last save point in case bugs freeze up your run
  • Changed Salvation to only be triggered on Cure, Regenerate, Healing Hand, Mass Cure, and Divine Intervention. Increased Max Health boost from 5% to 10% per stack


Bug Fixes



  • Fixed issue that caused item stash to not load correctly causing the town to never load
  • Fixed issue with game lockup when save files exist but have corrupt data
  • Fixed issue where if you receive a higher level version of fortune you already have equipped it wouldn't update its effect until you re-equip it
  • Fixed issue where dashing chain attacks wouldn't chain to the next target if the current target dies
  • Fixed issue where fortune stats would sometimes stack indefinitely if you unequip and re-equip them
  • Fixed issue where the shop window gold display would only show gold from your currently selected character instead of all your party characters
  • Fixed issue where Roguelike item reward tooltips sometimes wouldn't compare the correct items if controlling multiple characters in a party

Hotfix v0.22.8 - Multiplayer Disconnection and Mac Fix

General



  • Global reduction of enemy damage by 10%
  • Further enemy damage reduction for party sizes of 1, 4, 5, and 6
  • Enemies level 85+ now deal less damage
  • Reintroduced the 'Continue' feature in Roguelike mode


Bug Fixes



  • Fixed issue where Mac users were unable to host and join multiplayer games
  • Fixed some issues that caused frequent multiplayer disconnections
  • Fixed various issues with the 'Continue' feature not working correctly
  • Fixed an issue that would cause the enemy to get multiple turns in a row without the player being able to act
