We have listened to a lot of feedback from our players and agree that dropping the price will help more people find and enjoy our game. These are hard times, and many people don’t have the same disposable income that they once did. That has left a lot of you without friends to play with. Let’s see if we can fix that! Our goal was always to listen to players feedback and we have heard your concerns regarding the frequency of major content updates that lead to server wipes. This has frustrated many of you, so we are adjusting our update schedule accordingly. We will still be releasing hotfixes as we develop them, but we will be working on pushing more content, less frequently. Instead of rolling out each new feature when it is complete, we will be bundling features together. This is good news since it will mean fewer wipes and more time for us to try to break things in house!

Stone Rage - Animal Play Patch
Hello Stone Ragers!
We have been out on Early-Access since August 29th now and we have added quite a lot of content over the last few months and with this big patch we are introducing our USP to the game. Which is the summoning of animals via totems and being able to control and play as deadly creatures such as the saber-toothed tiger or the mighty mammoth. What do you need in order to play an animal in the world of Stone Rage?
First of all you'll need to set foot into the world and perhaps build your shelter somewhere safe from intruders. Craft your totems and stone circles and place them close to each other and then gather the needed ingredients to summon an animal and to shape-shift into the beast. We have added several abilities and game balance preventions tied to stamina to prevent overpowered animals. You're not invincible while playing as an animal! You can still die so make sure to defend yourself beforehand. Playing as animal tied to a certain time limit. If that expires, your animal will disappear and you return to your human form. You can break the link early. In this case, your animal will enter a sleep state and you can control your human character.If your animal is dead, you will have to summon a new animal and add new ingredients to the totem again. As for the female human character. We'll add her with our next upcoming patch! She needed some more polish.
This is our first introduction of our playable animals. Expect a lot more in the future updates. We heavily rely on players feedback and we would like to ask you to give us feedback on our discord channels so we continue to fix and improve our systems! Also by sharing the word about Stone Rage you tremendously help us out and the development.

Stone Rage - Announcing Playable Animals!
The animal play is live on the test servers.
Every player gets some default items on spawn (weapons, bag, totem). To use the totem, you will have to place a totem and a stone circle close to each other. Interacting with the totem lets you start the summoning process. Every animal will have different requirements for their spawn. Once everything is in place, you can summon your animal. It will appear in the stone circle while your human character goes into a praying state.
You're not invincible while playing as an animal! You can still die so make sure to defend yourself beforehand. Playing as animal tied to a certain time limit. If that expires, your animal will disappear and you return to your human form. You can break the link early. In this case, your animal will enter a sleep state and you can control your human character.
Craft costs and other recipes to spawn as an animal are subject-to-change.

StoneRage - November Content Update!
Hello, Stone Ragers!
One week after our big halloween content patch we are releasing yet another big content patch named "The cave patch". With this patch we are including the first pass on caves which are exporable on the map. We have also revamped all crafting recipes, and items to give everything a bit more logic. We are constantly working hard to find a good balance for all items and crafting and we hope you enjoy our new changes and additions.
New spear models, new basalt models, new arrow selection, new bow animation set and a lot more has also made it into this content patch. Next to content we have optimized a lot of foliage in the savannah and rocky desert biome. We would love to hear feedback on your performance in these regions.
November will be all about animals and animal play. Yep, you heard it. We are working intensively to add in basic animal gameplay into Stone Rage. Stay tuned for more and spread the word!

StoneRage - Halloween Update!
Hello, Stone Ragers!
With Halloween right around the corner, we’re happy to announce another big content patch! We’ve been toiling away this month on bug fixes and new features that we can’t wait to get your feedback on.
While October has been heavily focused on Halloween content, finetuning our crafting system, and our new repair system, November will be all about animals! This will include implementing the core work necessary for playing as animals. We'll also be adding more diversity to spawned animals who will roam and live in the world of Stone Rage.
We have a lot planned to keep players engaged as we add even more features. The performance of Stone Rage has been great with reliable framerates and stable servers, now it's time to add content and make the game more unique in its own way. We are especially excited to announce the release of playable Neanderthals! For now, only the male is available and they are only different from humans visually. Daze Effect
As ongoing experiment all projectiles (arrows, spears) now apply 3 seconds of Daze effect to any character was hit by the projectile..
Daze effect reducing movement speed by 35% while active. Daze effects do not stack and only one daze effect can be active at same time!

StoneRage - Decay System Hotfix
Hello, Stone Ragers!
You guys have done great work helping us gather bug reports and critiques for our last patch, so we’ve got a hotfix for you!
We received a lot of amazing feedback regarding our new decay system and are making some adjustments. For now, decay will not initialize until you have been inactive (offline) for 2 days. Otherwise, it still works as originally designed, one tick per hour, consuming one of each required material. Remember to keep your structures in range of the decay station!
We are hoping that this will make the decay system less of a chore and more of an intuitive feature that will help give players purpose and prevent inactive bases from accumulating.
There will be a full server wipe with this patch to fully implement the changes below.
