Patch 29


  • Improved loading times via Texture Streaming
  • Further work on Level 5's layout and vis'ing. Still not playable, but it's looking good!

  • Fixed issue when the game remained paused after returning to menu
  • The game now defaults to fullscreen
  • Loading times improved on Level 5
  • Fixed issue when you spent too long on the success screen, basking. Bask away.

  • Fixed Kicking on all levels - still silent and with no effects
  • Added the first pass of level 5. You can look at it, but it's not playable yet.

  • Using a bomb will no longer clear it from your inventory.
  • Fixed up loads of Blast Marks for destroyable UFO targets on level 4
  • Fixed Chopper on Level 4 so it actually blows up.
  • Improvements to slopes on Level 3
  • Level 3 blast doors are now shut until you've taken out all of the Bomb targets
  • Lots of collisions improvements on Level 3
  • Improvements to Patrol routes on Level 3
  • Fixed some Guard spawn points on Level 3
  • Fixed a number of camera collision issues on Level 3

  • Placed 20 collectable Gnomes on level 3
  • Improvements to the cover in the first hangar on level 3
  • Most in-game UI should correctly reflect information of the current level.

Yet again a short-looking set of patch notes for SOOOOO much work!


  • Level 3 should now be working and completable. Lots of stuff isn't finished tho - the aliens won't follow and you can't enter the UFO. This should be finished tomorrow.
  • You can now fly the UFO on Level 4 and destroy Area 51!
  • Pause menu exists and works. None of the options are hooked up yet, but this should happen tomorrow.


Apologies for the silence over the weekend, but just occasionally I have Socialise. Should be full steam ahead until we leave Early Access now!

Patch 22




  • Lots of work fixing up shared assets between level 2 and level 4. Level 2 should now work properly again.
  • Fixed a large number of collidable objects to work with the new camera code.
  • Level 4 should be available today, work permitting.

Patch 21


  • A second iteration on the camera intra-collision code. Hopefully this means a responsive camera and no jittering and no clipping. Did I get it right?
  • Loads more work on Level 4. Bomb code should be implemented tomorrow

Patch #20


  • Lots of work on Level 3 - on this level you will take out lots of American military hardware, before rescuing the aliens and stealing a UFO
  • New Camera system. This should alleviate the complaints regarding 'floaty' cameras. I'd say 'feedback welcome', but apparently I'm not getting any anymore :-(
  • Added more destructable targets for Level 4
