Patch 19


  • Quit option works on the main menu.
  • Pause menu - coming soon!
  • Implemented basic camera collision, so the camera attempts to move out of colliding areas. It's not perfect, but it's the best I can do in the time possible. Please let me know what you think!
  • Level 2 should now be completable
  • Smoke Grenades should no longer leave behind audio after timing out.
  • Further Tweaks to level 1 patrol routes
  • Reworked Friendly spawn on Level 2, so the runners will flood in from a seperate warehouse. Use them as cover!

  • Fixed more collision issues on Level 1. Gnashed and wailed.
  • Fixed Force field rendering.
  • Substantial improvements to guard patrol routes on Level 2

  • A huge number of changes to Level 2 for playability, improving cover, patrol routes, performance, audio and navigation.
  • Returning to titlescreen is no longer silent.

  • Collecting a Gnome causes you to turn into a Gnome for 5-20 seconds. (depends on Difficulty)

  • Fixed glass in Level 2
  • Fixed powerups being beneath the floor on Level 2
  • Fixed a number of objects not having collision on Level 2
  • Fixed audio disappearing when dying when flying the UFO
  • Fixed Drop-Off on Level 2. Not all Aliens are collectable yet.

  • Fixed many hundreds of poorly-performing objects on Level 2 - framerate++!
  • Fixed loads of collision errors on Level 2
  • Fixed many spawn locations of powerups on Level 2
  • Added placeholder MOTD system
  • Tweaked Level 2 lights to help identify areas differently
  • Gnomes are a little brighter
  • Improved Occlusion on Level 2

  • Fixed returning to the main menu having no mouse cursor.
  • Added Beam rendering to UFO Heat Ray attack.
  • If the Beam overheats, you need to wait for it to cool before using. This replaces the previous 'fire for 1 frame, wait for 1 frame' code.
  • Tweaked UFO constraint zone a bit. There's nothing out there. Stop looking.

  • Added a complete progression system for loading and saving, and recording your best times.
  • Added placeholder main menu. You can change your mind on the difficulty after the load's complete, as I'm nice like that.
