Patch 0.0009


  • Increased Gnome Bonus to 50k per Gnome, to offset the increased scoring elsewhere
  • Added a first-pass completion sequence for when you win.
  • Added the first-pass of Levels
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes Guards couldn't target you
  • Fixed an issue where your character would sit down for no reason.
  • Fixed a rendering issue with the stamina bar

Patch 0.0008


  • Guards should no longer fail to track you quite so easily. It's possible they're actually a little too 'Terminator' in this patch - feedback wanted!
  • Added animations for collecting items and dropping off. This means you can't sprint past dangerous items and ignore the guards anymore - timing your collection becomes more important now.
  • You can no longer interact with anything whilst rolling (this including picking stuff up)
  • Improved Guard's ability to pivot and aim whilst not moving.
  • Fire audio is no longer a point source

Right now I've had zero feedback on items, progression, level, playability, controls, camera, sound, animation, difficulty, lighting, gameplay, missions, events or scripting.

Do I take it the game is perfect and needs no changes? Surely not!

Clear and concise and level-headed feedback is always gratefully and graciously received!

Patch 0.0007


  • Fixed an issue where rolling and sprinting at the same time would get you stuck
  • Improvements to performance of vis culling
  • Fix to Guard rendering

Patch 0.0006


  • Added Stamina. Rolling and Sprinting uses Stamina. Stamina recovers over time, and recovers twice as fast if Crouching.


It's now literally too hot to stay in my house, so I'm going somewhere air-conditioned, and will continue work after the sun's gone down.

Patch 0.0005


  • Using a Medkit at full health will now empty your hand.
  • Added Crouch on Left Control. This makes you harder to detect, and you're safe behind 1 metre tall obstacles.
  • Added Sprint on Left Shift (animation is placeholder). This makes you move faster, but drains your stamina bar.
  • Reworked the entrance to the Base to improve occlusion and performance.
  • Fixed an issue where people with low-end PCs optimistically chose a high detail and the LOD system would panic.


Remember - I don't know what you think needs to be fixed unless you tell me!

  • Added further event triggers - the friendlies can now disable the streetlights and masts by turning off the generators.
  • Fixed Bus Smoke
  • Fire is no longer silent
  • Added audio to Smoke Grenades
  • Fixed dozens of small geometry errors
  • Keemstar's hat is no longer made of shiny
  • Added 3 difficulties - EzMode, Regular and GitGud. This will also halve or double your score.
  • Fixed some LOD popping issues. You don't need to run on 'Potato' unless you've got a really crap PC...
  • Added some auto-balancing FPS code, so the game should be always playable on low-spec rigs and also the detail will turn up automatically if your PC is capable.

Patch 0.0003


  • Scaled Ambient Occlusion by detail setting, increasing performance
  • Set up Q/LMB for Primary Use and E/RMB for Secondary Use, rebindable in the Launcher
  • Removed SlowmoTime from (T)
  • Removed Death key (oops)
  • Added Smoke Grenades - Guards are unable to target through them, tho they can blind fire into them. Lasts 30 seconds and follows camera forwards, not character forward.

  • Large boost to loading times!
  • More Gear added outside the base, allowing you to gear up before entering the fight.

Patch 0.0002


  • Added usable items - Q or LMB for left hand use and E or RMB for right hand use.
  • Fixed issues where Gnomes weren't always collectable
  • Fixed issue where player didn't always heal after dropping an Alien off
  • Fixed issue where guards couldn't shoot the player when standing on sloped ground.
  • Added instant-use FieldKits that give 50 HP when touched
  • Added delay-use MedKits that give 25 HP when used. They take up a hand to carry.
  • Added Cloak. You cannot be targetted by guards when active, and any current guards will immediately drop you as a target. Uses up a hand to carry.

  • Added Body armour. This effectively gives 100 extra health, and allows you to break the 100% health barrier. Your health bar will be green when the armour is active.
  • Fixed some 2d sound issues
  • Added a random powerup system - MedKits, FieldKits and Body Armour will now spawn randomly. Prefer a fixed setup over randomness? Let me know!
  • Added 20 random powerups throughout the level. Too easy now?

Patch 0.001 out now


  • Fixed score calculation and improved time readout
  • Dying no longer completely covers the floor in 3,000 gallons of blood
  • Player can no longer end up with a negative score
  • Guards can no longer shoot eachother. Oops.

  • Optimisation to navmesh generation to speed up pathfinding time
  • Added Gnome Bonus! Find gnomes to boost your score. There's 20 in total, each worth 5,000 points.
