Better Steam Deck integration and full controller support!
We have improved Strange Horticulture's Steam Deck integration - everything should now work out of the gate with no need to fiddle around with any extra controller setup (just make sure you're using the recommended controller layout which should be selected by default).
We've also added full controller support to the game so you can now play with a gamepad if that's your jam.
We've also added a small fix for a minor Mac issue that meant that an achievement wasn't being awarded properly.

'Tis the spooky season where the leaves are falling from the trees and pumpkin-spiced lattes are served in the cafés of Undermere. In this update, your little shop of horrors has been kitted out with some spooky accoutrements to get you in the Halloween vibe. We've also added Polish, Portuguese, Czech, and Turkish localization!
Halloween!
For a limited time, you'll see a new loading screen and some cute pumpkins to fiddle around with. How will you use them to spruce up the shoppe? Color code with orange plants? Strewn about the shelves randomly?
With Halloween come black cats, so we've added one to the shop! Its name is Hellebo-- oh, right... Hellebore was always there. Still, give 'em some extra scritches around Halloween.
Zooming QoL change
Additionally, we've added a new zoom feature with this update. While playing, simply press and hold the SHIFT key to instantly take out your trusty magnifying glass and zoom in on whatever you're looking at. This will make it easier to quickly read small texts.
Localization
It's not just pumpkins and black kitties — we've also added four new languages to Strange Horticulture! Polish, Portuguese, Czech, and Turkish localization are all available now, with Dutch localization also coming soon™. Achievements have been localized as well, so you can properly tell what achievement you've unlocked.

Japanese Localization Is Here! And...
Dear Horticulturists,
Scouring the lands beyond Undermere, we've found a new language to add to Strange Horticulture's repertoire; Japanese!
Those of you from the land of the rising sun can now enjoy Strange Horticulture in all its glory in your native tongue. And hey, plants need sunlight to grow, so it's a perfect fit! As with every language, you can switch to Japanese in the options menu of the game.
This update should also fix the issue where language settings would not be saved between sessions.
Speaking of Japan... Nintendo!
