We're excited to announce that our game is now out of Early Access! With this update, we've made many big and small changes, including cool new effects, improved character animations, fixed display issues, and new multiplayer levels and surprises for you to enjoy. Dive in and experience the definitive version!

Here's the changelog:

SteamDeck Support

Hello Steam Deck users!

We’re excited to announce that PROTOCOL 11 now fully supports the Steam Deck - and it works perfectly!

With this update, we’ve ensured that the game is fully compatible with the device's controls. However, if you need to use a mouse for any reason, we’ve also enabled touch screen support. Additionally, we’ve added Steam Deck glyphs (those little button icons) along with new ones for PlayStation and Xbox controllers.

This update is currently available in the debug branch. To access it, just go to Properties -> Betas and select "debug"



The update will be rolled out to all customers on the default branch in just a few days.

Patch notes EA 1.1.4

Updated both Win and MacOS builds.


  • This fixes a soft lock on level 5, where rockets didn't respawn.
  • Also fixed character acceleration, which fixes run start/end animations and gives a much smoother movement feeling. Implenting new input system for multiplayer broke that.

Local Multiplayer now available!

In our ever-lasting commitment to this project, we've added local multiplayer mode where you can challenge your friends!

Choose your characters and battle it out—aim for 10 points to claim victory. And there's more in the future: upcoming arenas, a "last man standing" mode, awesome weapons, and plenty more to keep your gaming experience fresh.



We've also fine-tuned controller support for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4, and PS5 controllers—now with vibration support included! Generic gamepads are also supported natively. If you use Steam Input, please disable it.

And by popular demand, you can now customize your keys! Your feedback matters, and we're dedicated to making the game exactly how you want it. Enjoy!



Other changes include:


  • Final boss cannot be longer killed by vertical takedowns.
  • Improved character animation, its speed is now determined by how much the left stick is held.
  • Characters will no holster one handed guns while wall clinging.
  • Character can no longer jump inside the cell.
  • Fixed character not being able to jump on the first jumper, on first level.
  • Fixed jitter effect not being disabled on death, for NPCs.
  • Fixed interactable overlap issue on Timmy's section.
  • Fixed missing checkpoint at the start of level5.
  • Fixed player might get accidentally stuck on Waste Management area.
  • Fixed game paused UI issues.
  • Robot spiders won't have zombie hurt sounds.
  • Fixed rare instances where character won't deploy weapon after a vertical takedown.
  • Minor visual tweaks.

Another round of polish and fixes! We want players to have a great experience on the Episode 1 before jumping on new content.

Big news!

SUPER Cute Alien DLC is now free for everyone who already has the game! It brings back the old campaign and multiplayer, so get ready for some serious nostalgia and fun.

What can we expect from Episode 2?




  • Continuation of the Story
    Phil navigates Buenos Aires' ruins, aged by time, in pursuit of Fita. A few years have passed since the catastrophe, and survival intertwines with the quest for this mysterious beacon.

  • Metroidvania Genre
    Unlocking new areas is vital to Phil's survival and understanding the city's secrets. Mastering tools and abilities reveals hidden passages essential for progress.

  • Broken Buenos Aires
    Amidst debris-strewn streets, players discover remnants of Argentina's culture and history, adding depth to the desolate landscape.

  • Open World Dynamics
    The city's open world teems with life and dynamic events. Day-night cycles, crate drops, multiple quests and bounty collectors create unpredictable challenges in the quest to uncover the city's history.

  • Fixed jetpack collision for enemies being removed after a level restart/transition.
  • Fixed UI crafting message not appearing correctly at the top.
  • Fixed AK-47 bullets applying physics forces twice.

New console, vertical takedowns and Quality of Life updates

Enjoy a brand new console that lets you control your game in a much advanced way, including new cheats. Cut-scenes were added, a new vertical takedown and critical hits. Experience faster and smoother gameplay, more gore and realism, and various bug fixes and level polish. Finally, we have made various level design tweaks, improving the aesthetics and the gameplay of the game.
