Hello everybody! It's taken a while, but just in time for a spooky Halloween, we get the Dark Library arena map, along with the cutest fireball-shooting kitty, Moona!
There are also tons of fixes and improvements, including rebindable controls for both keyboard and gamepad! Without further ado, here's the full change list:
Added a new character: Moona!
Added a new battle arena: The Great Library!
Races and battles have now six participants instead of four, so they're more exciting!
Slight modifications to character select menu
Made regular difficulty the default one, and unlocked from the beggining on Grand Prix Mode
Decreased "Super Weapon" time from ten seconds to seven
Fixed expert difficulty mode to make lagging enemies thougher
Added more respawn areas in Cloudscraper Highway track to prevent getting stuck on other roofs
Fixed the Pawn's road respawn areas
Changes in Sugarfire Park track:
Made arcs in the park section wider
Removed some bushes that were too near the track
Removed the brown off-track ground that led to confusion
Placed correctly a few oddly rotated benches
Added some walls to prevent going off-track in the crossroads
Meet Moona!
A kitty with glasses is just too much. Too much cute. Also she soots fireballs for good measure.
I keep working hard on the next update which will fix a few problems, but will be mostly new content!

"The Bowl" Update is live!
Hello to everyone! After weeks of hard work, I'm proud to present you the first big update to Supersonic Tank Cats! The "Bowl" update, which comes with a new short-and-fast track, a new mechanic to make comebacks more likely and exciting, and tons of quality-of-life improvements. Without further ado, here's the patch notes:
New track: The Bowl!
Added the supermode system!
Added credits to title screen
Added small cooldown after shooting
Added the joystick triggers as alt for acceleration and backwards movement
Added "Brightness" to options
Added a button guide at first play and in the options menu
Divided options menu in categories
Reduced bloom intensity
Changed icon of homing missile
Results menu is not responsive for the first 0.15 seconds after appearing so you won't accept an option by mistake
Capped boost gotten from going down slopes to 25% of max boost
Revised grip mechanic so nobody slides for too much on ground and ramps work better at lower speeds
Made electric balls weapon easier to use (bigger damage area and not bouncing off players)
Changed the camera during countdown so you can see the track sign
Fixed a bug that wouldn't allow to play free-roam in the Sugarfire Park track

A small preview
I'm working a lot on the next update, which will come full of small fixes and improvements, and with a new circuit to boot! You can zigzag on the pipe-like walls to get extra speed or jump over corners to cut some distance. You can even find a small secret route that can give you the advantage!
The update will be ready soon, until then, please have fun!
Small fixes patch out!
I'm working on a juicy update with new content, but for the time being, I present you with some necessary fixes.
-The pause menu now is smaller and shows correctly on splitscreen multiplayer.
-Multiplayer Battle Mode now doesn't glitchs at the end of the match.
-Physics tweaked to evade excessive sliding on slopes.
Also, what's coming in the first update? At the very least, expect at least a new track and character, plus a few quality of life improvements:
-Brightness control on options menu
-Remappeable controls (+Trigger alt for acceleration)
-A new comeback mechanic to help those in last positions in a race or in their last health point in battle!
Supersonic Tank Cats is out!
Dear everyone,
I'm glad to announce that Supersonic Tank Cats is finally out!
The game, in it’s current state as Early Access, includes a roaster of six adorable fully armed tank-cats and 4 different tracks plus a battle arena. Game modes contained in it are Single Race, Time Trial, Grand Prix, Battle and offline multiplayer Splitscreen for single race, GP and Battle.
I'm already working on the first update, in which I'll add new characters and tracks, plus all of the fixes and changes the community find necessary. I listen!

About online multiplayer
Hello everybody!
One of the features this game will have is online multiplayer. The development of such feature is probably the hardest part of making it, though! I'm working as fast as possible to make this available (at least in a basic state) during Early Access launch, but there's a possibility that it'll be added in a patch.
So, what to expect? Phase 1 or online multiplayer is synchronized matches in a local network, although there are ways to play with such a connection with people over internet. "True" online multiplayer, as in seamless matchmaking, will come in Phase 2. Note that it'll still be iterated and perfected over the course of the Early Access phase, and it should be completely stable by the end of it.
That said, there are a lot of online functions that are still in the air, such as leaderboards for the Time Trial mode, custom matches, etc. Just hit me up with your ideas, suggestions, etc. I'll be glad to hear them out!
