SURROUNDED DAILY DEAL
Dear Steam Community,
We've been invited to participate in a Daily Deal on Steam, which means you can purchase Surrounded at a 40% discount—the lowest price it will be for a long time.
This update aims to tackle the proximity voicechat of Surrounded. Where voicechat would previously clip, be choppy, or not work at all, you can now expect a smooth experience both in hunted and storymode. When launching the game you'll get a popup prompting you to calibrate your microphone and select your desired input device.
We'd love to see your funny moments using voicechat in the discord!
Other than fixing and overhauling voicechat, we have also fixed a bug where the centipede would keep chasing the player indefinitely without ever despawning.

Reworked the voice chat to increase the quality.
Introduced a setup proximity voice chat section first time launching the game.
You can now change the input mic in the settings menu.

We hope you all are doing well. As the title states, we need your help. We need all of you who have played Surrounded recently to write out all the bugs you encountered during your playthrough!
You can reply in the comments of this announcement.
Over the next couple of days, we will listen specifically to all of you who have played it recently and work on fixing as many bugs as possible to enhance the experience! We've got some new, cool features to add later; however, we're prioritizing fixing potential bugs for now.
So that's basically it! It helps us a ton to receive bug reports! If you haven't encountered any bugs, leaving general feedback helps a lot as well!

Spectating system in Chapter 1 after all lives have run out.
Big Fixes
Fixed a bug where the spectating widget wouldn't pop up.
Fixed a bug where you couldn't finish the game if someone had died.
Fixed a bug where the wrong player would pop up when someone died.
Temporary Hotfix (Game Not Ending)
We've acknowledged the issues with the lives and spectating system in Chapter 1, especially concerning game completion. We have currently disabled it temporarily until we can fix these problems.
We're sorry for the inconvenience, and you should now be able to finish the game without any issues!

Disabled Motion Blur until we have a setting where you can enable/disable it since the majority of players don't like it.
Improved respawning, you will now respawn at the closest map board instead of a random one! (Highly requested by you guys)

Fixed a bug where the Resolution Scale setting could get randomly reset.

After respawning you have a 10 second grace period.

Added a radio around the different maps.
Medkits will now gradually spawn back in Hunted after last one has been used.
The popup showing your XP and levels is now faster.
You will now get proper feedback when you're actually reviving someone in Hunted.
Improved wording on some notifications.
Optimization:
