Considering the current situation with online, we plan to switch the game to free-to-play model. We have already come up with interesting model which we believe will meet everyone's needs - you will be able to play both for free and for real money.
What will new players get at the beginning of the game now?
All new players will get the three basic units, which are currently available in the demo version of the game: warrior, archer and pyromancer.
Will it be possible to play the game for free?
Yes, as you progress through the game, you will gain the game currency, that can be spent on the purchase of new units. When a player earns enough game currency, he will be able to choose himself what type of unit he wants to buy. For example, he can buy necromancer and use it in all subsequent rounds.
What will be sold for real money?
The game currency. Those who want to save time and support the developers can purchase the game currency instead of earning it.
What about balance?
We are working hard to develop a system of rewards and rating groups. In short, our game is arranged in such a way that you can defeat opponents with a wide choice of units by using only 3 basic units, but, of course, a greater choice provides a greater flexibility. In general, the tendency is so that player receives the highest rewards (as well as the greatest interest in the game) in that rating group, which corresponds to the number of his units. Anyway, any player will shortly get into such group and fight against equal opponents.
What will happen to the old players?
We'll give you the gold in sufficient quantity to purchase not 3, but 9 new units, which will be added in the future updates. Taking an opportunity, we would like to thank once again those of you who appreciated the game and wrote reviews. We apologize for the problems with online, the wrong choice of model is our mistake.
When will everything be working?
This depends to a certain degree on Steam, but we plan to release in about 2 weeks.
What is this all for?
We suppose that our first model was mistaken. We have often read reviews which stated that multiplayer indie game should be f2p or it should have a single player mode. As the last statement isn't at all well suited to Tactical Genius, after serious consideration, we've decided to switch the game to f2p model. We think, this will allow players to find opponents for 2x2 games as well as 1x1 games. We also think that achieving the goals in the game is interesting in itself.

Один из наших игроков написал замечательное руководство по игре, и внес в него замечания от разработчиков.
Нас часто попрекают, что в игре нет развёрнутого обучения, а из стартового очень мало что понятно. На это мы обычно отвечаем, что начинающим так или иначе будет скучно читать много текста, и делать большое обучение тоже спорно, так как его будет неинтересно проходить.
Детали игры достаточно увлекательно узнавать в бою. И всё же, если вы уже поиграли и вам понравилась игра, и вы хотите играть лучше, вам строго рекомендуется внимательно почитать это руководство.
