We've got a special treat for everyone; the TAGLINE soundtrack is now on steam! The original soundtrack features 43 futurist tracks full of sampling, scratching, and manic flair. Each song was composed in the wee hours under electric candlelight; they're short, but pack a mighty punch and are deliciously loop-able!
Non-Commercial use of the songs is permitted, but please try to credit us if you use the songs in your class projects, video essays, obituaries, or whatever else you manage to cram them into!

The "QUICKPLAY" Update!
Eat. Sleep. Run. Repeat!
Alex and Oscar here with some new content and bug fixes. Quickplay, a restart key, and the mysterious mouse clicking bug!
We are introducing QUICKPLAY in this update; a new option on the main menu which allows you to play any challenge you've encountered in the story. You'll be able to pre-select abilities and swap saves if you want to change your character upgrade status. Your global high scores will be tracked on this page.
Smaller updates include the much requested restart key. Hold down TAB (bindable) to instantly restart challenges and task terminals, no more fumbling through the pause screen! A fair amount of players reported mouse clicks not registering in game. This ended up being an issue tied to windows witchcraft. Please report if the issue persists!

Added a RESTART button, holding this down will restart challenges and task terminals.
Fixed a bug where mouse clicks would not register for certain players.

Achievement Bugs are No More!
Happy New Year!
Alex and Oscar here with a much-requested fix for TAGLINE! Some users were experiencing issues where achievements would not unlock. It took some work-arounds but we've been able to build in some failsafe's to ensure they'll be awarded.
Another big thank you to our dedicated players who have been reporting issues on our discord server; we always appreciate your bug reports!

DEV MEDAL Patches!
Dear players
We've just squashed some bugs in TAGLINE! The developer medals we added came with a few bugs involving the earning of medals. This newest update should put a neat bandage over visual issues and progression problems.
If you come across any more bugs please continue to share them on our discord server we're keeping tabs on a number of issues and look forward to hearing more from you!

DEV MEDALS! + New updates and fixes!
Hello all!
Alex and Oscar here with some fixes and updates for TAGLINE! We've had a great influx of players who have been committed to speed running the challenges in the game. Given how difficult a challenge TAGLINE can be for some players, we did what any good devs would do: give you an even greater challenge to overcome!
Dev Medals were requested on our discord server and we're pleased to add our own semi-secretive, bone-crushing times and scores to the game! In addition to these we've also updated the game with some fixes.
Let's take a look at some bullet points shall we?
Added developer medals, these have no effect on game play outside of bragging rights!
Fixed a bug related to using the mouse on the trader menu.
Fixed an issue with the CRYB district screen during cutscenes.
Fixed issues in both the HOTSPOT and ENDURANCE UI.
Minor UI tweaks you won't even notice!

Post-Release Bug Fixes!

As with all new game releases it's customary to stumble across a few bugs, issues, and the stuff nightmares are made of! Luckily the NOTH team (Alex and Oscar) are here to save the day with our first post-release patch for TAGLINE. Our main focus was to eliminate rare softlocks and visual bugs.
Thank you so much for the amazing feedback on our discord server; we're grateful for those of you who helped us spot some of these issues.
Here's a list of fresh bug fixes!
Players will no longer appear to have abilities equipped after death / challenges.
Fixed a bug that would let players softlock themselves after spawning into maps.
Added additional fail safes to some achievements.
Fixed a bug that would lock players inside the Black Book menu.
Fixed some issues with the blimp on MALL...
Fixed and added in the "Contact Sport" achievement.
Minor visual tweaks.

What a journey it's been, 4 years later and here we are! Numb, somewhat amazed, and a little humbled. If we had an ounce of energy left in our crumpled, neglected bodies; we'd give ourselves a pat on the back!A huge thank you to those who wishlisted the game, played the demo, and supported us! Particularly our friends in the discord server! From every last demo player to the those who shared are work on socials - you helped this game come true.

Releasing Soon! / Important Updates for BETA Players.
Hello all,
It's the NOTH team here again with some news you've likely heard already; release day is just around the corner! After a 4 year journey TAGLINE will be available to play on the 5th of October!
To avoid some complications between Demo and Full game builds we are making tweaks which will erase save data for BETA players. Don't fret! - if you do wish to keep your BETA saves, you can keep them from getting erased by changing the following names in your game directory:
C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\Local\Tagline\Saved\SaveGames Change any file tilted "Save" 1/2/3etc. to "Slot"1/2/3.
This should keep your saves from being wiped with the latest update. Beyond this there's little more to say except thank you for a fantastic year of support! As you can imagine, we've been working on updates, polish, and loads of content the past month; so we've gotto catch some shut-eye!

Demo Difficulty Balancing
Hello again!
It's the NOTH team (Alex and Oscar) with yet another patch to improve the TAGLINE demo! We've gotten a lot of feedback we wanted to address, mainly regarding difficulty. The demo was presenting mid to late game challenges; so we took a look at balancing.
Note your saves will be deleted; but this is probably the last time the demo is affected. At this point in development the demo will be receiving less love; most of our time moving forward is going to be focused on getting the game release ready!
Here's a list of some notable tweaks:
Adjusted spawn rate and score requirements for combat.
Changed properties of Waveform, Compressor, and Reverb to assist in combat:
Perform headshots with Waveform for a damage bonus.
Reverb shots can penetrate through targets.
Compressor weakens enemy defenses.
Balanced terminal challenge difficulty.
Minor visual bugs fixed; muzzle flashes, particles, ect.
Small bugs, balances, and inconsequential things!
