We had some cases of crashes due to a limitation of the batcher. This patch fixes that.
Back soon with more.
Peace.
Creature bugfix release
We have another little bugfix for today.
This fixes an issue where creatures made soon after the early-access release were missing some data required by more recent versions. This stopped some boards from loading.
Big shoutout to the user who helped us replicate the issue. You rock!
Until next time,
Have a good one.
Lighting Hotfix
We've found and fixed a bug in the lighting system that could have potentially caused crashes[0].
We usually group a few bug fixes together for a release, but this one is important enough that we want to get it to you before Monday.
Hope you have a nice weekend folks.

Bugfix Release
We went bug hunting yesterday, and the fates were with us. Here is what got fixed:
We fixed a bug where shadows could become incorrect while building.
We now clear the cutscene list when leaving boards.
Players can no longer use the sample tool
The fog pin now respects changing from GM mode to player mode
Until the next patch, Seeya.
Bugfix Release
We are back again with a couple of bug fixes.
We have fixed a bug that stopped people from deleting tiles that were partially clipped through the floor.
We have also corrected the direction that horizontal panels scroll when using the mouse wheel. If you prefer the old behavior, there is now a toggle in the settings menu.
More fixes and features are in the works. So until next time, have a good one!
Feature Release - Move Entire AOE
In this release, we have added a handle allowing you to move an entire AOE at once.
This was one of the top requested features after we released AOEs, so we are happy to be following up on it.
To use, right-click on an AOE, choose edit, and then move your cursor to one of the handles. A ring will appear around that handle which you can click and drag to move the entire AOE.
Until the next patch, Peace.
Dev stream is up on youtube
Hey folks, last night's dev stream is now up on youtube. Thanks for all the great questions and feedback before and during the stream.
Peace.
Mini Feature: Water Tiles (Resin Blocks)
Today we're releasing the highly requested Water Tiles! It is far from a perfect solution, unfortunately. There will be some oddities when entering the water tiles with your camera, as well as other quirks players will become familiar with. We might be able to address some soon; others will have to wait for a future water solution.
We're looking into doing some non-geometric water shapes for an upcoming update, so keep an eye out for those.
Patch Additions and Fixes:
Added ability to toggle picking of "transparent" tiles in Build Mode.
2 Water tiles (1x1 and 2x2)
Shadow offset on Skull on Pike, and some Office Props are fixed.
Thank you all for your patience and persistence. Till next time! Have a great one.

Mini Feature: Open Logs and Settings Directory
Not much to say about this one!
When working out issues, it's often beneficial to see the logs, but finding the files can be a pain. This button opens up the location where the logs, keyboard config, and a few other things are stored.
Ciao
Mini Feature: Dice Command
Hey folks, in this update, we add a very small feature. When the chat dialog is open, you can now type "!" followed by a dice roll to populate the dice tray with those dice.
This currently uses the same rather limited dice descriptor strings as the dice URLs. However, when we tackle proper dice macros, this feature will be upgraded to support them.
While there is a technical description of the dice URL scheme here, it's not very approachable. Here instead, are a few examples.
!d12 One D12
!3d12 Three D12s
!2d8-d12 2D8s minus one D12
!3d4+5 3D4s plus five
!Strike:d20 A roll called "Strike" composed of one D20
!d20/2d4 Two dice groups. One composed of one D20, and another composed of two D4s
We hope this is useful to some, even in this period before full dice-macro support.
ALSO! For those who want to ask a question during Thursday's dev stream but cannot make it, we have added a channel in our discord server for you. Simply drop your question in #dev-stream-questions, and we'll do our best to address it on the stream.
