To those who aren't up for it, no worries. Thanks for reading this and for your support as we've been building.
That's all for now

Feature Release: Box Ruler
Hi folks. Today’s release has a feature, a tweak, and a fix.
The feature
The feature is what you saw in the title. The box ruler is here! It’s a good fit for measuring boxes or rectangles. As with other rulers, you hold down the Ctrl key to change the elevation of the handle you are moving. This means if you don’t hold down Ctrl, you get nice rectangles. As usual, box rulers can be turned into AOEs.
The tweak
The little gear icon for settings has moved into the in-game menu, and the icon for the menu is now the little TaleSpire rabbit. This is because screen real estate is limited, so we don’t want to use it for things that are only needed once in a blue moon. We changed the icon as the cross was chosen when the menu was purely for quitting (before we even put the “report bug” button in there).
The fix
The “ping” release had a regression that stopped the GM grid overlay from working. This release fixes it again.
Wrapping up
And that’s all for today. Behind the scenes, all cylinders are firing on tagging, terrain, art, and much more. So keep an eye out for those updates. See you in the next release!
Goto creature bugfix
Hi folks,
The last release had a bug where clicking the creature in the player's portrait no longer took you to the creature. This was too critical a regression to wait until the next release.
Back soon with more progress and fixes.
Feature Release : Gesture & Ping
One of our most requested features, the Gesture and Ping feature will allow players and GMs alike to gesture on the board and place a ping to notify others of a location.
We've added some UI around the player portrait to access the Gesure feature and a settings icon for changing color. The default hotkey is "T," and it can be toggled on and off by clicking or holding to automatically toggle off once you let go of the key.
Once the Gesture Tool is enabled, you can place pings by simply left-clicking with the gesture pointer. Others will be able to see both your gesture pointer and the pings you leave behind. Off-camera pings are represented by a clickable icon, which brings you to that location.
Other Fixes:
Fix exception on delivery of a roll result
Handle error on failure to write out converted HeroForge miniature
Catch failed creation of file when unpacking creature mod
Fix malformed state change in processing of asset pack.
Tidier logging for tools
Handle case where icon may be delivered to UI element after it was retired
Fix occasional issue when recieving message about a change of creature ownership
We hope this can serve as another tool for telling stories! Please continue to request new features or vote for existing ones to tell us what is important to you

TaleSpire Release: Bugfixes
We've got another set of bugfixes and quality of life improvements for you today:
Improve timing of chat text bubbles, mostly making short messages show for a bit longer.
Make a Symbiote's localstorage persist when updating said Symbiote.
GMs can now click on attack requests issued by players to cycle between the "attacker" and "victim" mini. This also works for group attacks with several attackers; clicking on the request cycles first through all attackers, then to the victim.
Similarly, this now also works for the attack entries in the chat history panel.
Fixed a bug with display settings breaking until a restart when cancelling the changes after the apply-popup appeared.
See you in the next update!
TaleSpire Release: Grab-bag of fixes
In this release we have a lot of fixes and quality of life improvements for you:
Fix compass UI vanishing after having entered and left photo mode or slab publishing mode.
Fix fog pin staying visible on vertical slider even when not in GM mode
Stop screenshake for minis that aren't visible to the current client.
Improve UI reporting of errors during HeroForge account linking process.
Fix case that could lead to repeated errors when client receives certain messages from the server.
Improve internal error handling of some error cases. They should now fail gracefully instead of potentially leading to a crash.
Updated some dice to have opposing faces add up to the face count +1 like the rest of them (and real dice) do, also optimized some of their models.
Added randomized spawn orientation to dice in addition to the already existing random rotation speed and direction on dice pickup and throw.
Stop the camera "sliding away" when moving minis with Shift+WASD. It now only "snaps to" the new mini location instead of doing that AND normal camera move.
Disable right click camera movement while in build mode and deleting tiles/props with Shift+Right click.
Add mouse wheel scroll to chat history panel on top of the already existing click+drag scroll.
Symbiote picking tool now works for players.
Improved game logs with more information.
Added a manual settings option for enabling "noisy logs" with even more information.
This release also contains many of the internal changes for our new translation/localization system. Nothing should have changed externally as translations are still disabled while we finish up some systems there. If you experience any bugs with UI text not showing up don't hesitate to report them on our feedback platform!
Back soon with more!

One of our wonderful Discord mods, Oceanlord, suggested we include the requests from the board in our patch note. This sounds like it could help shed more light on the board's existance and the fact that we frequently take on requests found there.
Please request assets! Get them voted up. It's incredibly helpful. We usually look at the top first before finding related tickets.
Thanks for all your continued support!

Shogun Abode - Hotfix #2
Greetings!
The Shogun Set's release included the Shishi-odoshi with a bugged animation. It worked fine when playing inside the Unity Editor but not on the build. It took a while to figure out, and I'm not entirely sure which sequences of events fixed the issue. Which is troubling... BUT! it should work now.
Thanks for checking out the set!
