Patch Notes 22.03.2018 - Season of the Crow, interface update, and more.
New season
Today, we mark the end of the "Hydra" season and the start of the new season that is called "Season of the Crow". The rewards for the "Hydra" season were already given out and the rating was partially downgraded as per usual.
The new season will last until the 19th of April, 2018 (4 weeks)
The rules for the new season have remained the same as for the previous season.
Despite the fact that the new season is a bit shorter, the rewards will be the same as for the previous season.
Interface update
The settings menu interface was stylistically updated to match the rest of the in-game interface. It was also rearranged for a more comfortable and intuitive use.
Players can now partially customize some of the game controls.
Attention! The direction and movement keys: WASD, Enter, Space, the arrow keys, and mouse buttons, cannot be reassigned.
Additional changes
Mammoth was given 20% increase in armor and 5% increase in movement speed.
Players will now earn double the amount of crystals from the daily bonuses.
Players will now get 50% more crystals from the blueprints containers that are earned in battles.
The map selection system was readjusted/balanced.
Massacre has been added to the map pool for ranked play
The gravity level on Moon Silence, in ranked play, has been increased to the standard level.
Bug fixes
If the chat window is open, pressing the "Y" or the "N" keys on the keyboard will no longer accept or decline an invitation to battle.
We added shadows to the battle interface text. Additional fixes were made to the battle interface.
The bug that was blocking the interface upon pressing the "Esc" key during the tutorial, was fixed.
Discount on premium
Premium can be temporarily acquired with a 30% discount for everybody.
The discount will work for both prolonging or a fresh premium activation. More info about the end of this special offer will be provided at a later date.

St. Patrick's Day Celebration!
Saint Patrick's Day, or the Feast of Saint Patrick, is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17 March, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick, the foremost patron saint of Ireland.
This is the greenest day of the year and even though it is an Irish celebration, many people around the globe are celebrating with them. It is said that if you catch a leprechaun on this day, he will trade all of his treasure or grant you three wishes in exchange for his freedom.
We decided not to torment the poor leprechauns, but instead, grant you the three wishes straight away, plus a BONUS one!
The celebration will last 2 full days, between the 17th and the 19th of March, 5:00 UTC, and here's how we're going to celebrate:

The "Frontier Zero" skins for Ricochet and Titan. These will be available for sale for 2 days. These items are usually obtainable exclusively from a container.
The "Acid" ammunition for Ricochet and the "Rodger" paint, will both be available at 175 X-crystals instead of 250 X-crystals.
BONUS! A couple of items will be available for Crystals instead of X-crystals:
The "Matte Green" paint will be available at 2000 Crystals instead of 250 X-crystals.

Tanki X has been officially released!

Today, March 13th, 2018, becomes the official release date of Tanki X. The project is officially leaving the Open Beta Testing. Hurray!
What does this mean for Tanki X?
Starting today, Tanki X will no longer wear the OBT badge as well as the Early Access badge on Steam. We will now continue to develop the project in new ways. We will focus on working closely with our players and will do everything in our powers to make the game more attractive, comfortable, and overall better. During the upcoming weeks, Tanki X will be released in several new regions, which means that we will be expanding our audience.
Our development team is sending the most sincere “Thank you” to our dedicated fans. For your critical feedback, for showing your concerns about the future of Tanki X, for being with us through ups and downs, and for your desire to continue supporting your and our favorite game. Thank you!
What celebration goes without gifts?
For an entire week, starting with the 13th of March and until the 19th of March, 5:00 UTC, upon visiting the game you will receive:
A new unique paint called “The Beginning”. This paint will soon become as unique as the CBT paint, so don’t miss your chance of getting it. This paint will NEVER be given away nor sold in our in-game store after this celebration.
A helping set of blueprints: 10 hacker’s blueprints containers and 5 smuggler’s blueprints containers.
50 X-crystals every day. For the duration of the celebration (6 days), upon visiting the game, you will receive a small batch of yellow minerals (50 X-crystals). You can use them to buy containers or skins, as well as module upgrades.
Attention! If you haven't played Tanki X for a while, you will need to play 1-2 battles before receiving the gift.
Additionally, we’re running a very cool contest this week, called “Bounty Hunters”. The winners of this contest will be rewarded a Genesis Rhod110 gaming keyboards each, as well as X-crystals, premium, and more. CLICK HERE to find out more about it.

What's next?
We decided to take a different approach to the game updates. These will now become rarer (1-2 per month) and the first few will be focused on debugging the in-game features. Also, technical updates, as well as server restarts in the morning (Europe time), might become a more frequent affair. That is needed in order to keep up the performance of the game and the servers, as well as occasional hot-fixes.
Our developer’s diary release plan will change as well. New episodes will be released only on important occasions. Additionally, we are thinking about changing the name of our “Developer’s Diary” to “Tanki News”. But, you will always be able to stay informed by watching our Livestreams on YouTube, which we will resume on March 21st. These will become the main hub for news, insides, giveaways and other fun stuff. Oh, and you can also ask questions and get them answered by our community managers. Stay tuned!

Today’s episode is even more special, as this is the last episode of Developer’s Diary to be released during the Tanki X open beta. But let’s leave that for later.

The International women’s day celebration has already begun. It will last for 4 days and is scheduled to be removed on March 12, 5:00 AM UTC. How will we be celebrating, you might ask? Well, let’s take a look:

You will have a chance at getting this container in every battle, but only if you earn at least 100 battle points and play the battle to the end. If you’re feeling unlucky, then you can buy it in our store for X-crystals.
New Update
We released an important update this week, that goes by the code name “Warm-up”
The pre-battle warm-up is a feature we announced back in January, and it will allow tankers to start the battle simultaneously.
The warm-up is a short period of time before every battle, that has the purpose of allowing players with longer loading times to join battles without being penalized for that.
During the warm-up, only the individual score is taken into account. In other words, those with a faster loading time can duel each other, take a more advantageous position, or simply warm up before the battle.
The team score and the battle timer will start once the warm-up is over and every player entering the battle has supposedly finished loading.
For the Training and Bronze leagues, the warm-up will last for 1 minute. For Silver, Gold, and Master league, the warm-up will last a minute and a half.
There will still be cases in which players will be joining on-going battles, when others leave it. We highly advise not to let down your team by deserting those battles. The more you play, the more blueprints you earn, regardless of the final results of the battle, and the best players of the match are most likely to earn reputation rather than lose.
Our developers are considering the option of disabling or resetting cooldowns on modules during warm-up. But, before making such a decision, we want to hear your comments on that.

Game Release
And now, the main news of this episode!
Greetings, tankers! I’m the new creative producer of Tanki X and I’m very excited to be taking on this position. My first primary mission will be to tell you about the Tanki X future developments plans.
Tanki X is getting officially released! This is an important milestone for any game. Our customer support and operation teams are joining forces in order to make Tanki X more interesting and extend its boundaries.
For you, tankers, this means a more dynamic plan of in-game events and special offers, as well as new features and updates. More information about each of them will be provided closer to their release.
The date is set for March 13th. Of course, we will be celebrating this date with gifts and contests!
Between the 13th and 19th of March, every player will receive gifts upon entering the game!
A new and exclusive paint! Attention! This will be the only time and the only way you will be able to obtain this paint.
A helping set of blueprints: 10 hacker’s blueprints containers and 5 smuggler’s blueprints containers.
Additionally, for every day you log into the game during the celebration, you will be rewarded 50 X-crystals.
We’re also preparing a massive contest called “Bounty Hunters”. You will have to take the side of your favorite corporation, equip their respective graffiti, Antaeus or Frontier” and destroy your enemies, to win awesome prizes!
The player with the highest frag count on each of the sides will win a Genesis gaming keyboard!
Players to have made it to the top-10 will be rewarded X-crystals and other in-game goodies. A detailed description of the contest will be published closer to the release. Stay tuned!
We’re also working on a special gameplay video which will include interesting statistics about the open beta testing.
And now, we will be sharing top secret info! Tanki X is going into world expansion and will be released on new territories. The player count will increase so our responsibility, including you, tankers, will be to welcome the new blood in the warmest fashion.
We’re expecting big changes, which will come with lots of hard work that we put into releasing the game in other countries. Our developer’s diary release plan will change as well. New episodes will be released only on important occasions. But, you will always be able to stay informed by watching our Livestreams, where you can also ask questions and get them answered by our community managers.

During the next three days (February 23rd-26th) we'll be celebrating Warrior's Glory Days.
How will we be celebrating?
Upon buying X-crystals in our in-game store, you will get double the number of X-crystals you paid for.
2x gold box drop rates.
"Day of Glory 2018" container that can be earned in battles or purchased in your garage. It contains:
New graffiti called "Serge"
New paint called "Military"
Paint and coating called "Taiga", "Forester", and "Dirty".
"Firebird Red" and "Twins Violet" shells.
"Defender" skins for Hunter and Smoky.
At the end of every battle, players will have a chance earn the "Glory Day 2018" container, if they meet the following terms:
The player has earned a minimum of 100 battle points.
The player has played the battle to the end and waited for the final scoreboard.
Only after you've followed the above terms, you will have a chance of receiving a container, but it does not guarantee it. If by the end of the battle you don't have the required minimum amount of battle points, your chances to receive a container will be equal to 0 (zero).
On February 26th, after the event celebration removal, the "Day of Glory 2018" container will become unavailable in your garage and will stop dropping in battles as a reward. However, those to have acquired and opened them during the celebration event, will keep the loot forever.
Additionally, we will be giving away "Day of Glory 2018" containers on our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram pages, as well as Discord, all weekend.

Patch Notes 22.02.2018 - Battle interface v.2
Greetings, tankers!
The second version of the battle interface, called "Focus mode", was released this morning. The two versions of the battle interface are always available in battle, you can switch between them by pressing the "F2" button on your keyboard. You can not switch the interface as a spectator.
The shaking of the interface upon shooting, hitting the target, falling or during the destruction of your tank, is now linked to the shaking camera option. You can turn it on/off in the settings, under the "Game" category.
Hammer, Vulcan, and Shaft now have a special energy or ammo status bar. For Hammers, it is now split into 3 sections, one for each available shot. The bar for Vulcans is split into two section, the first bar will indicate how much left until shooting, the second one will indicate how much left until overheating. On Shaft, after shooting in scope mode (which consumes most of your energy). the bar will blink when the weapon is loaded enough to shoot in scope mode again.
A cooldown ready animation was also added to the new interface. When a module goes off the cooldown and is ready to use, it will trigger a very short but noticeable animation.
Additionally, we fixed a few bugs that were triggering lags and game crashes.
