The third season ended this morning. The fourth season already started, the Hydra season, and with it, a lot of changes to the game. We strongly believe that these are positive changes. Give it a week try, please.
Unified play modes into ranked play.
Quickplay and ranked play are now unified. The following game modes, TDM, CTF, and Cosmic battles, are now part of ranked play.
The cosmic battles have a lower chance of being selected for a battle.
DM (Deathmatch) is temporarily removed from the game, but it will be added to ranked play later in the season.
Teleport charges removed.
The teleport charges were completely removed from the game and ranked battle has become free.
Upon entering the game the first time after the update, you will see that all the charges that you have yesterday were converted into Crystals at a 1 to 5 conversion rate.
Premium account now offers 500 Crystals daily instead of teleport charges.
Changes to league reputation ranges.
Bronze league reputation range has been widened, from 140-599 to 140-699.
Silver league reputation range has been widened, from 600-1999 to 700-1999.
Reduction of player's losses in ranked play.
Players in the Training and Bronze league will earn reputation at a 100% increased rate.
Players in the Silver league - at a 50% increased rate.
Players in the gold league - at 33% increased rate.
We want to remind you that top 2-3 most valuable players in both the winning and the losing team, get bonus reputation in 95% of the situations. So, a better result in a battle will most like be compensated and will help you climb the ranked ladder.
All the modules slots are now available.
All 6 modules slots are now available disregarding the level of the hull or turret. They will be open to the player from level 1 and will allow the player to play with his favorite modules form the beginning.
The visual rewards for leveling up a hull or a turret were untouched. You will still get graffiti and skins for leveling up your turret or/and hull.
6. Gold boxes are dropping in every type of battle and reward 1000 Crystals, just like in the old days.
Season Hydra has begun.
The season started today, February 16th, and will last until March 22nd.
The rewards will also be increased.
Top 50 masters for the previous season will be published this weekend.

Celebrations in February
The Valentine’s Day celebration in Tanki X started this morning and is scheduled to be removed on February 17th. There are a number of contests waiting for you on our Social media pages, as well as special offers in-game.
During these three days of celebration, players will earn twice the amount of experience in battles. This will help you get that new rank, equipment upgrade, and containers with blueprints, much faster.
For only 1000 Crystals, you can acquire a unique graffiti called “Devil's Heart”. An excellent illustration that represents the nature of love.
Upon buying X-crystals using any available payment method, you will get two bonuses! First, you will get double the amount of X-crystals you paid for. Secondly, you will get a special paint called “Arrows of Love” as a gift.
Attention! This special offer will start only on February 15th. If you’re planning on using special prepaid vending machines, you will need to pay the exact cost of the smallest X-crystals package. Don’t forget to take the commission into account.
Of course, Valentine’s Day is not the only celebration this month. Between February 23rd and 25th, Tanki X will be celebrating Warrior’s Glory Day. You can expect discounts on X-crystals, daily quests that will reward containers, and a couple of other surprises. Don’t miss out!
Interface
We’ve finally updated the battle interface.
It has become futuristic and now fits into the setting of our game. This is only the first version of the interface, but we’re working on a second version which will be more familiar to experienced Tanki X players. You will be able to switch between the two versions of the interface during battle.
The first version of the interface was developed for new players that are used to interfaces in shooter games. It is supposed to help them get familiar with the game faster. However, during testing, we realized that it is quite uncomfortable for experienced tankers because they are used to focusing on both the position of their tank and the battlefield. Because of that, we decided to develop a second version, so-called “Focus mode”.
Battle missions
We’ve added new battle missions for newbies. They can be completed during battle and get rewarded instantly.
For example, you decide to start playing with Firebird for the first time. One of the battle missions will be to deal 500 fire damage to enemy tanks, for which you will be rewarded bonus experience to upgrade the turret.
In Capture the Flag mode you will have missions such as pick up the enemy flag or return the allied flag to its base, for which you will earn rank experience and crystals.
There are currently missions only for part of the weaponry. You can check the list on our forum. If there’s a turret you haven’t played at all since you registered your account, you can try the new missions and earn a couple of bonuses.
The Hydra season
Last week, we extended the current ranked season because of game mode changes that we are planning to release soon. What should you expect on February 16th?
With the upcoming ranked season, we decided to give up on splitting the battles into quick and ranked play. Only one play mode will remain - the ranked play. All the team based battles will now be focused on earning reputation.
Later, we plan on adding the “Deathmatch” mode as well as space battles, to ranked play. We really want to bring these game modes to their former glory, because we believe each of them is interesting in their own way.
Additionally, with the unification of the play modes, we will remove charges and teleports. The whole earning and spending teleport charges mechanic has proven to be quite complicated for most of the players. This is why ranked play will become free.
Good news for the gold box hunters is that the old gold boxes are back and they will reward Crystals, just like in the old days. More crystals means faster upgrades, so don’t forget to catch gold boxes, record epic videos while doing that, and share them with us.
The upcoming ranked season is called “Turbo season” among developers because the reputation earning speed will significantly increase. Players in the Training and Bronze league will earn reputation at a 100% increased rate, players in the Silver league - at a 50% increased rate, and those in the gold league - at 33% increased rate.
Ranked battles require a lot of focus and can be emotionally draining. Statistics show that a lot of players are spending too much time in the Bronze league. This increase in rates will help speed up the transition between leagues, and will help players earn better rewards and enjoy victories more often.
The symbol of the upcoming season will be the hydra, and the graffiti will resemble the one from the “Hydra squad” special pack. The new season will be longer than the previous ones, as it is scheduled to end on March 22nd. The reasoning behind this is that we need more time to gather statistics on the new game modes. We will also increase the season rewards.

Patch Notes 12.02.2018 - New Battle interface and Missions

Today we released a couple of important changes.
New Battle Interface
The first version of the new interface was designed for new players. It has a familiar format of an average shooter. We are working on a second version of the interface called "Concentration mode" for more experienced tankers. You will be able to switch between modes.
New Battle Missions
Players will receive these missions only when they enter a battle equipped with a new turret/hull, or when they're entering a game mode they haven't played before. Completing the quests in battle will reward you immediately.
Because we decided to extend the current season, we also increase the rewards.
Master League 1st place - 25 League containers, Season graffiti + Master graffiti, and 1250 X-crystals
Master League 1-3rd place - 19 League containers, Season graffiti + Master graffiti, and 625 X-crystals
Master League 4-10th place - 19 League containers, Season graffiti + Master graffiti, and 250 X-crystals
Master League 11-50th place - 13 League containers, Season graffiti + Master graffiti, and 250 X-crystals
Gold League - 13 League containers, Master graffiti, and 150 X-crystals
Silver League - 13 League containers, Season graffiti, and 2500 Crystals

Breaking news! The duration of the current season was extended!

The duration of the current season was extended until February 16th!
Great news for those who didn't have enough time to climb higher on the ranked ladder, this season.
This is related to the fact that important changes need to be implemented for the new season, changes that will affect both the ranked and quick play.
Developer's comment:
We understand that ranked battles require players to focus more and they're also emotionally consuming. In the new season, we'll be removing a few elements and we'll be speeding up reputation earning, this is why we, the developers, are calling it "Turboseason", but officially we will most likely name it the "Hydra Season" because the graffiti depicts a hydra. With the start of the new season, players will lose fewer points upon suffering defeat, will progress faster on the ladder, will get better rewards, and less frustration.
More details about the new season we'll be telling you in the upcoming episode of Developer's Diary which is scheduled to be released on February 14th.

Patch Notes 31.01.2018 - New loading screens and bug fixes
We added new loading screens with map preview and their description including small bits of lore.
We fixed the bit in which the timer for the first purchase offer didn't work properly.
We fixed the bug in which the game client would crash when a player would try to buy a "Rent a tank" preset, while he already has 10 presets.
We fixed the bug in which the player wasn't shown the tutorial if he had the "Rent a tank" offer active.

Patch Notes 30.01.2018
The Qiwi payment method is now working again (for players from CIS and countries for which this payment method is active).
We fixed the captha that appears during account password recovery.
We fixed the bug in which the client crashes when a player, being in a squad, is trying to buy X-crystals.
In the pre-battle lobby, the game will no longer select the "Rent a tank" presets automatically when the offer is active.
We fixed a bug in which the "Rent a tank" presets had all of their preset slots unlocked during the test drive if the player had both the turret and the hull at level 10.
