Another update... (we're still working)

Hello everyone

I know updates have been VERY limited, and that is by design. I don't want to speak about updates until they are ready.

There has been a great amount of work performed over the past year as stated in the last post (a year ago). Most of this work has been a combination of completely reworking just about everything while bringing fresh ideas in implementation to the game (as the game just was not in a good place with current available build here... at all).

A lot of what we wanted to do became less possible due to a lot of optimization issues and mistakes made earlier on. As so many lessons were learned throughout this entire process, we have been able to reimagine and refactor so many things which has given us a great opportunity to fully realize just about of the original grand vision of the game and potentially more. Time will tell.

I mentioned doing better with communication in my last post, and to be honest, part of this is not sharing anything until we have something worth sharing.

As a lot of the work has been refactoring the game in its entirety, there hasn't been much to share in regard to new information from last year. I will commit to providing and giving updates only when I have something worthwhile and valuable to share. I am hoping that will be sooner than later.

I do not have an ETA for the next update or when the game will be finally released. I can say that I still have full intentions to build and release the final game, but not until its ready.

I am thoroughly unsatisfied with the current state of the game available that is available to you right now. The next update will be a monumental one where you should see the game take on a VERY new, improved and much more functional, enjoyable state.

Right now, the game just isn't what we dreamed of it to be, but what I have been working on since, is a HUGE leap forward, but again, my goal is not to repeat the mistakes of the past by rushing to get something out.

I definitely feel like a broken record saying "thanks for your patience", but that is the best that I can offer right now, until I have another build ready for release. To those still hanging in there, thank you so very much, and I will continue to keep to my word of working to get the game released.

Production has resumed... and an apology


Hello everyone,

I must start out with an apology, as I have not communicated with you at all the hard stop in development that took place over the last 2 years. I was unable to continue working on the game though I put as much effort as I could into doing so. Regardless, I did not communicate the challenges or status of development to you over that time.

Your frustration and anger (for those of you who are), is completely understandable. I can only apologize with the full intend to do better and finish this game. I am also forever humbled by the kindness of of you all and will forever remember the support you have given me.

Communication is important, and I will strive to do better.

I have returned to working on the game officially now. There is still a lot of work to do, but I fully intend to complete the tasks. Updates will not be as before as I want to focus the majority of my time on coding and developing the game, rather than admin related tasks. With that said, I will still provide updates here, and when updates to the game are ready, I will fully document those additions to the game here as well as you might expect.

I appreciate the kind words I have received from you all, and again apologize for letting you down on the communication side of things. I can do better and that will be my focus.

From here, the next update you will receive should be connected to the next game update. I have no ETA's just yet as I have just begun working on the game again, picking up where I left off.

Development Update Q4 2020


Hello everyone,

As you might have noticed, updates have been very sparse lately. There is a reason for that, but I would like to formally apologize for the lack of communication.

This year has been challenging for MANY people, myself included. To that end, I would like to apologize that we did not release a Q3 update for the game as scheduled. We will also miss the update for the last quarter of 2020 as well. However, work has not stopped altogether, but there has been delays that will prevent us from releasing a polished update.

Without going into details, events have transpired that took a lot of attention away from development. The good news is that I can now continue developing the game. I do not make any excuses, but rather I love being transparent about our development of this game. This is a passion project that I have and will continue to pour my heart into.

With that, I would like to give some insight into where we are headed going into 2021. We have been working on some quality of life improvements to the game to make it a much better experience to play. I will get back to providing updates in the upcoming new year and share more details.

I always thank you for your patience, and though it may sound redundant--I will continue to do so. Thanks for your patience and faith in the project. It has been a long tough road, but one I intend to reach the finish line for.

New Features added



  1. UI updates to the product management window

    • Marketing insights added
    • More content to be added to this window overall, but more management options have been implemented

  2. Sales Graphs added

    • You can now chart sales over the course of days. More iterative options will be added soon.

  3. Customer Service implementation I

    • Your customer service agents now function and handle customer related service inquiries. Customers are garnered as your product sells. As this happens, depending on many different factors relating to the product and its performance, you will get calls that come in as a result for support. How well you handle the customers will have long and short term consequences. This is tier I implementation, so some functions like the drawbacks to really bad customer service are not yet implemented. This will be added soon.

  4. Added minor improvements to budget window - sales dates, etc..


Bug Fixes



  • Two shipping campaigns were created when creating your first campaign. This bug has been resolved.
  • Fixed numerous budgeting issues
  • Ground navigation bug found when loading into a saved game. This bug has been resolved
  • Fixed some bugs related to marketing progression with the different demographics
  • Improved some data accuracy

Hi everyone!

We hope all is well with you and your family and friends. The world is in an interesting place these days, but being an optimist and one of positivity, I hope that you all are okay and hanging in there!

In regard to the matter at hand, we have been working diligently on the latest update to early release (Quarter II's update). We are making great progress, but as usual testing and polish are supremely important and we have a bit more work to do in that department.

With that said, a lot of the polish and quality of life aspects of the game are lacking. Being in the current state of development that we are in, this is currently expected. However, once we have all features in the game, the bulk of our efforts will shift toward polishing and bug smashing on a much grander scale.

Thanks for your patience as always as we know it has been a journey of a lot of required patience. We hope to make the wait worth it. Thanks again and happy gaming!

Features added



  • Notification system - We have added the foundation of our notification system (1st pass). Now when certain events happen throughout the game, you will have a notification ticker at the top of the screen. We will continue to polish this feature to include management options.
  • Company Data system - We have completed a second aggressive pass on the company data system. Now storage items have gameplay added and will no longer serve as just decoration. Each item will be capable of storing data for one of five different categories which have gameplay implications.

    1. Customer data – This is your customers data and personal information that they provide to you which will have huge game-play ramifications. From how well you protect that data to how you use it to identify other sales opportunities, etc..
    2. Financial data – This is your company’s financial records which also have huge ramifications. Investors review this information in order to make educated decisions about buying stock in your company. Additionally, this is used by your company for many other reasons. How well you manage and protect this data will be obviously important.
    3. Employee data – Like customer data, your employees share a lot of personal details about themselves with your company. Storing and protecting that data is equally as important as the others. In addition, this is how you manage your employees effectively–by knowing as much as possible about them which will allow your HR personnel to effectively provide services and cater to them over time.
    4. Legal data – All legal docs whether signed by customers using your services or used by your own lawyers for the goal of defending you in court; you will have to store and protect this information as well.
    5. Operations data – All documents and information related to your daily operations will be crucial to store and maintain. Losing these docs can set you back on research and many other aspect of your business.

  • Budget polishing - We run a second pass on the budget UI. You will now have more details related to your budget available to you to review.
