Tutorial #4 expected to release tomorrow (3.10.2019)

Hello everyone!

Part 1 of the fourth tutorial should be released tomorrow. I was hoping to have it completed by mid week over the course of this past week, but given the size of this particular tutorial, it required a few adjustments which lead us to determine that it would make more sense to break up this particular tutorial into 2 parts.

The first part will release tomorrow which covers the how-to's on actually setting up your teams and then creating a product. The second part which should release next week will cover the marketing, shipping and post release process of product management.

It is also worth noting that some things can and will change regarding the processes of the game, so the tutorials will evolve over time to reflect those changes. The idea is to continue to polish and streamline the experience overall.

Here are some notes regarding where we are currently in Early Access development and the plan going into the next few months.

Current Development Status



  • Tutorials have been a huge focus so that learning how to play the game can be a bit easier. We should be finished with this by next week. Tomorrow, as mentioned above--will see us release part 1 of tutorial #4 into the game. We will aim to get part 2 in by the end of next week.

  • We are now (finally) in the process of setting up the schedule of development for the next few months. We plan to share that on our website (which unfortunately has not had an update in a while due to the heavy focus on development, etc..). We are giving ourselves at least two weeks for this, so updates may be a bit lite over that period of time.

  • We are indeed aware of some performance and bug issues (thanks for sharing them on Discord and here in the community!). We will focus on these as soon as possible to improve the gameplay experience.

  • Even before getting the schedule out to you, we do know that over the next two months, the goal will be to get the current gameplay as polished as possible. Once that has been completed, it will then make the most sense to begin adding on top of that foundation.

Update 1.5d released

Update Notes for Patch 1.5b - March 4, 2019



Tutorial #3 added & Tutorial #4 being finalized.
As promised, we have now updated the game with another tutorial to help you get started learning and playing the game.

Game Additions & Bug fixes

  • Added tutorial #3 - Employee Management
  • Finalizing tutorial #4 with only a few more items to complete before being added into the game. We expect to have this completed by mid-week
  • Added the option to play on a small map as well as the original large map.
  • Added in optimizations and fixed some minor bugs.


Outside of adding in the final tutorial, there will not be a big update this upcoming week, as we take the time to prioritize and plan the next big update. As we will now be finished (for now) with the larger gameplay requirements (tutorials & build mode critical functions), we will be moving to optimizing and improving other foundational gameplay features. Some of these will include fine-tuning and improving the underlying logic of the product creation system and customer behavior.

After this, we will focus on unlocking and polishing the in-game management windows, sales charts, and other UI tools for management post-product releases. So managing and charting success will be much more possible.

Patch 1.5c

Tutorial #2 added. Object Placement


As promised, we will continue to release each tutorial as soon as possible. As mentioned in the previous update, the implimentation of the tutorials was from the ground up and as a result, has taken a bit more time than initially expected. We have two more to release before we move on to the next content items.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where enabling tutorials in the menu would break a regular game session.
  • Disabling in-game tutorials (since official tutorials are now in the game)
  • Fixed a bug where exiting a tutorial would leave some windows displaying over loading screen.

Update 1.5b released

Update Notes for Patch 1.5b - February 10, 2019




  • We implemented our tutorials system in the game. For this update, the building tutorial is currently available. Over the next few days, we intend to have all 4 available which will include the object placement, employee management and product creation tutorials. Time constraints and added complexity has extended the time required to complete this tutorial project. The good news is that the most complex portion is completed, and we can simply focus on adding tutorial content. Building the system from the ground up was much more of an undertaking than expected.

    Additionally, we want to make sure that we take out time and really flesh out the tutorials so that getting into the game can be much easier for new comers and current players alike. So far we are heading into week 3 working on the tutorials, but we feel that it will be really good to add to the foundation of the game before we start adding new content. Thanks for your patience!

  • We fixed a bug where doors hinges were in the center. Doors should now once again hinge on the corner.
  • We fixed some wall placement bugs where single walls would not spawn when placing in certain locations. Note: there are few more lingering issues that we intend to tackle this week.

Patch 1.5a

Cancel wall placement functionality added


When placing the square wall set, you can now right click to cancel the entire build selection. This improves things from what was before where once you started dragging out the placement of your wall, you could not back out of what you started. Worst yet, is that this would also lead to a bit of buggy behavior.

The next update should be live next week.

Information regarding the next Update


Hello everyone, as with last week's big update requiring two weeks of development time, the same will happen for this upcoming update.

The upcoming update will have the improvements, additions listed below and more. As a result and given the amount and scope of the content being worked on, this will take a bit more time than a single week. The biggest portions are the inclusion of 4 full tutorials for the primary processes in the game so far today.

Following this update, we will get back to the smaller, weekly content updates. However, depending on the scope of content being added, fixed or improved, we will take a week by week approach to confirming the time table for each update. These past two have been considerable in size and scope which as you have noticed--led to a two-week update window instead of one. As always thanks for your patience and please see the details of the next update below

Update 1.5 is released!

Update Notes for Patch 1.5 - January 25, 2019




  • Unlocked the ability to delete walls.
  • Unlocked the ability to delete floors
  • Unlocked ability to add single walls.
  • Fixed numerous bugs related to the feature.
  • Fixed bug with placing walls along edge of map.


Known Issues



  • Once you start building on level 3 and above, you may notice small performance hits when building 2x2 walls again. We are working to resolve this and are aware of the potential causes.
  • There can be slight stuttering when deleting or placing single walls. We are aware of this and will work to resolve.
  • You may still experience some bugs with this feature, however please let us know here or on Discord (Discord link below)

We will be adding tutorials in the upcoming week to assist with getting familiar with all the newly unlocked functionality as well as some others.

Patch 1.4c (Wall Modifying Functionality Update)

Patch Release pushed to this upcoming week




Hello Everyone,

After a lot of progress and being near complete in the goal of adding in the delete walls feature, we will need a bit more time for thorough testing of this feature before releasing it next week. We fully intended to have it ready for this week's update, however we ran out of time to test and iron out as many bugs as possible (hopefully all bugs).

Part of this was the fact and realization that there are a handful of additional features that we had to address in order to get the delete feature in.
As a result, next week't update will have the following additional features


  • The ability to add single wall units, which brings with it the ability to build within a wall unit. So instead of having to build only 4x4 wall units, you will now have the ability to add interior walls wherever you desire. Here are some images below demonstrating the feature

  • You will also be able to place floors. For this update, only floor placement will be available, but very soon we will add in the ability to change the floor tiles the same way that you can currently change wallpaper.

  • Fixed issue when creating a team, the hardware and software engineering buttons were switched
  • Fixed issue where an item would remain selected/active after selecting return in the item placement window.
  • Added Discord button to main menu screen.

Hotfix Notes for Patch 1.4a - January 12, 2019




  • Fixed issue where your development projects would continually be added to your Brand list after completion. Now, you should only see your project added to your Brand list after development only once as expected.
  • Fixed an issue where when selecting "[I]no[/I] starting office", you would still get the smallest office. You should now be able to once again build your own offices.
  • Fixed a bug that charged you for each wall, window and door of your office upon loading a save. This is associated with functionality that is being added soon which will charge you for each wall, window and door you build. Your office maintenance cost will also derive from this in the future.
  • Fixed the issue with the first region not getting shipments. You can now interact with that region for shipping products, potentially increasing your profits.
  • Fixed some issues with research UI
  • Fixed issue that prevented you from adding two values past the decimal point for pricing your product.
