Mission Journal: Patch #2.1.0.130060 Date of entry: 24/08/2142 Today, a new deployment of infrastructure has been implemented to add additional information to inform and update terraformers on the status of their fellow colonists and details on their activities. A number of malfunctioning items on the base have been repaired to ensure optimal functions.
Additional note: Home base has notified us of delivery delays caused by a new planet added to the colonization schedule. We have been promised optimizations to the delivery route to ensure the swift delivery of necessary resources.

New features:
Special tiles’ tooltips give more info about the tile's lore and/or function.
New icons indicating the players’ presence have been added to understand players' reactivity better.
Green: The player is connected and in the game.
Yellow: The player is connected but not in this game.
Grey: The player is not connected.
In draft mode, a new label shows to which player the remaining cards will be transferred.
A new tab in the game menu allows players to resume another game from the current game.

It’s possible to delete saved games again.
The “New feedback” feedback is not displayed anymore without a new message after loading a game.
The label announcing the turn of the first player is not displayed after the endgame Greenery phase.
The game doesn’t softlock after the endgame Greenery phase if the Log is open.
In Solo challenge mode, the game doesn’t softlock after launching the game anymore.
The order of players and corporations is now available for all players from the beginning of the Prelude phase.

When you encounter a bug, make sure to attach your log file to the ticket you send us. From the Main menu, go to Options > Access to logs/Share logs, and you should be able to download/access the log file directly.

Patch notes – 2.0.4.130025
This patch is focused on the draft and network improvements of Terraforming Mars. This release aims to target and address some of the game's main network issues faced today, whose most visible consequences are the draft locks. Many of the problems fixed were not specifically about the network, but the team needed to correct them to ensure that the game ran smoothly.
We are already hard at work to implement another patch which should be released in a few months which resolved other bugs that aren’t linked to the network issues. This next patch will integrate all our fixes from months about major feedback from players like Helion’s problems.
Older saves are not compatible with this patch.Your saves will crash on startup, so playing them will not be possible once the game has been updated.
New features
Share log button added in the Options menu for every platform. To share your logs with this new button, follow the instructions in the About Logs section.
Added "waiting for other players" banner during the draft
Changed the logic of color attribution. Colors are displayed according to each player's preferences.
Display loading percentage when loading a game.

First, fix for the Draft softlock issue.
The game doesn’t crash in Solo, Local, or Online games if the player has a bad connection.

Known bugs
Invitation in-game can appear twice, it’s impossible to interact with the game, but it’s possible to reload the game in the resume menu.
Popup displaying “Game desynced, return to the main menu, you may reload the game to keep playing” appearing in a loop (you’ll need to restart the app if that happens)
Random softlock may appear during the game (go back to the main menu and reload the game).
After a forfeit, AI can be stuck and softlock the game.

Log files have been improved with more information to help us fix more issues: don’t hesitate to share your save (when the game is local) and logs files when reporting a bug.

If you were previously unable to play on a mac computer and switched to the old game branch to access Terraforming Mars, simply repeat the steps you took previously to change branches and select the "default branch" of the game to regain access to all online and multiplayer features. In October 2018, we released version 1.0 of Terraforming Mars. Since that day, we have deployed hundreds of patches to improve server stability, game experience, and much more. It has been a long road that we have traveled with our community, making Terraforming Mars its best possible version! We are excited to announce that we have officially released Terraforming Mars, version 2.0, our most stable and optimized version of the game yet, with a massive list of fixes and changes.
