I made a comic instead of while I was working on my game and posted it online.
Except that I want to take it down now because I am preparing to get it published. So, if you want to read it for free, you have to do it within the next day or two. Otherwise, it'll be locked behind a paywall.
Yup! That one! So pick it up while you can, if you haven't already! Toodles~
My Epic Quest to Try and Maintain Some Level of Relevancy #4
Hello.
I should say something important to the internet, to help maintain interest in my game until the next substantial thing happens. However, my mind is drawing a blank right now, which isn't very helpful.
Um...
It's raining today. It doesn't rain often a lot around here. I actually love the rain. My dog, unfortunately, does not. No matter how many times I've tried to convince her how awesome the rain is, her opinion has not been swayed. Tis a real shame. ːsteamsadː I even bought a little waterproof shelter for her wagon, and still no cigar.
So, after forcing her to walk a short distance, and then putting her into her water-proof-ish wagon-shelter, I soon decided that it would be better to take her back home and go on that walk by myself.
Seriously, motivation is fickle. XD When you're trying to finish a book, drawing pictures for a two-year-old is much more funner.
What's that? You didn't know I had a book?Technically it's a webcomic, but... RogueDeus said he loved it he when he binge-read it a month ago, so that means that you totally should too! ːsteamdanceː Plus, I'm gonna take it down at some point in the near future, so you might want to get on that.
I was gonna feature another Youtuber in this post...but I'm too lazy. So, maybe next time!
My Epic Quest to Try and Maintain Some Level of Relevancy
...Hi.
So, um, I really want to try and pretend I'm up to something game related, but I'm still waiting on my pixel artist, so no new news on that front.
So, my family is full of picky eaters. I used to be one of the worst ones until I started going to Alpha and realized that it would be kind of embarrassing if I didn't eat what was put in front of me. I bring this up because often our tastes are very different at the dinner table, and sometimes when my mom and I want to eat at some place else, my dad will be like "whatever" and be fine with staying home.
Now, back in November, right before Remembrance Day, my mom and I wanted to go to this seafood restaurant that we don't go to very often, and this time we had decided to invite some friends from Church who lived in the area. So, we get to the lobster place, and they're sitting at a table, waiting for us (as you do). Then we sit down and get talking, and the people we're with hand me a birthday card. I thought it was nice, if not a bit strange, but we hadn't seen them in a long time, so I figured that was the reason for the late birthday card. It was when they handed me a small bouquet of flowers when I really started to get weirded out.
Turns out, they thought it was my birthday that day, which it wasn't. And they had already told the waitress to prepare a dessert for me.
Whoops.
We get back to the waitress and tell her the misunderstanding, and explain that, no, my birthday is in the summer, thank you. ːsteamlaughcryː I did have that dessert, but we paid for it, and had a good time all around.
We got home and told my dad about the whole thing. So, the very next evening, he invites my grandpa over, gets a cake out of nowhere, and explains that it's because it's my birthday. So we had another low-key birthday bash for me again that night.
And that is the story of how I had three birthdays in one year.
Can't get much better than that. ːsteamsunnyː
Some Other Stuff I've Been Working On?
User The Game said in my last announcement that "if (|) have nothing to say, just assume that people are interested about (my) artistic vision as a creator and talk about that." And JustSteph said that they wouldn't mind seeing more stuff I've done so, um, here I go! They are the ones to blame.
So, er... In that mini-book (A.K.A. Abandoned Library) I put in the Revamp, I mentioned several times that I am a comic artist by trade. And I'm bringing it up again here because not all of you got the Revamp and while that makes me SAD, I want to keep you all on the same page. A few years back, when I first started work on the revamp, I mentioned that I started working on a comic for one of my classes.
Well, sort of. It's, like, 95% done. I haven't finished putting the Character Bios together, and need to correct some spelling errors, but apart from that, it's done. I plan on pulling it from Webtoons once it's done to get it published (and hopefully make some more money) so if you want to read it for free, you'd better do it now. And maybe consider financially supporting me in the future if you like it.
Second up is, um... Well, this is a story I've been working on since before I scrambled the Original Albino Hunter together in a year. Again, it was mentioned in the Abandoned Library, but ain't nobody got time to read that.
So, um, here it is: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLHiuGAFM4dgVA9j27wPgZoAzpO0Ns255c
Originally I was going to try and make it into a webcomic series, but that just fell through for various reasons. I've put what I have into video form to maybe pitch it one day as a T.V. Show. I wasn't really planning on showing this to anyone until I felt it was the right time, but, uh...I dunno. Now's good, I guess?
