XP Update Part 2!
Greetings!
Today the XP Update Part 2 has released! Several changes are included like making the survival stat values visible on HUD, and the ability to gain multiple levels per run, but most importantly permanent stat buffs based on player level. During your run several factors are taken into account including distance traveled, entities encountered, and levels finished, which determine the amount of XP you gain each run. This has been adjusted to NOT scale with the total distance traveled anymore. At the beginning of each run you will be given a buff to your total Sanity, Stamina, H20, and hunger based on your player level.
The save select screen has also been adjusted to now display the player level, rather than the total distance traveled.
I want to thank everyone again for all of your support!

Release Week 1
Greetings everyone!
One week after the release of The Backrooms: Found Footage and things are looking better than I ever hoped for! Within just a few days the project hit it's soft goal in terms of sales, and all of my focus has been directed towards bug reports and content updates.
XP Update 2 is coming soon and will finish all of the features based on player rank, followed by Steam Implementation Round 2, which will add cloud save support!
The main point of this update is to address the sudden price drop from 9.99 USD to 5.99 USD. As it stands I fully expect the final product to reflect the price point originally set, but in retrospect, promising the majority of the content after release justified releasing the game as a pre-release; which is something I wanted to avoid.
Moving forward, the base game will be 5.99, as the Main 9 and Poolrooms DLC will be 2.99 and 0.99 USD respectively. Naturally, this isn't very fair to the fans who purchased the game at release, so as long as the DLC is available, those who have already purchased the game can simply provide Proof of Purchase to backroomsff@hotmail.com from July 12th or earlier to receive both DLCs for free!
Thanks again everyone for all the support!
