Patch notes:
- Performance increases 20-40% across the game using threaded rendering.(Very noticeable in large cities) - Performance increase of 10-20% in crowd rendering as well as distant landscape rendering, increase is due to improved DX11 instancing. - Remaining Issues in Kirkwall quests with saving and events fixed. - Sound/muzzle flash bug on crossbow in multiplayer now fixed. - Main menu improvements. - Bug fixed when modifying graphics for the first time often put screen at low resolution. - Issue fixed where sound volume settings often did not apply when first loading game. - Issue fixed where items meant to appear/trigger during quests sometimes wouldn't. - Demo version fully updated to latest version.

Performance Update Coming Next Week(Experimental)
We are pleased to announce that we are working on some significant performance increases in The Black Masses. We have seen upwards of 20-50% performance increases with some recent experimenting we have done.
However, we only have so many machines to test on, so we want to release this update as a trial run to ensure stability on different machines. As a warning, if things do not goo smoothly we may have to revert the update if we deem the update too unstable.
I hope everyone is having a fantastic week!
Regards,
Robert.
Hotfix For July 6th
We have done a few small patches over the past week. Some changes/fixes are listed below.
July 6th: -Kirkwall quests fixed which was corrupting profiles. - Fixed an issue with the Daear capacity blessings under the Dark Arts tree where the effects of the second blessing would overwrite the effects of the first blessing. - Added a temporary fallback system which should detect errors during profile loading and prevent the corruption of your profile. - Fixed an issue with The Gambler's Sword. If you have already finished this quest but you don't have the sword, you can get it from the house where you finished the quest.
June 29th: -Ammo save bug has been fixed. -Special weapons save bug fixed. -If you lost ammo or weapons from the save bug, our system attempts to restore. (Ammo is given based on your level, and quest special weapons are rewarded based on quest completion). -Multiplayer bug with incorrect player names fixed, which caused issues with private games.
We are working hard to increase stability. Have a fantastic week everyone!

Robert.

Large Content Update On The Way!
We apologize for the delay, but a content update is finally on the way. We are now back at the office after a long quarantine, but we were all at home working hard on a content update! We hope to get one out sometime in the next few weeks here. While we were in quarantine, large content updates were near impossible since our project is now in the hundreds of gigs.
Edit (June 19th): We apologize for the delay. Since this is such a large update we are working on, quality assurance and touch ups are taking longer than expected. Expect to see the update sometime next week.
Hope everyone is having a fantastic week!
Regards,
Robert.
