Controlling the joypaw
Hello feline sympathizers! Are you enjoying The Chronicles of Nyanya? Of course you are, nyan! Why wouldn't you?
However, I don't know if you're aware that our game supports the joypaw... I mean joypad... I mean controller! Just plug it in to the USB slot in your PC for ultimate freedom of movement while venturing through the fantasy cat lands.
We also added a control_scheme.jpg below for your convenience! Study it carefully so you don't strain your paws while playing the game!

Pad-friendly cats
Did you know that you can move cats using a gamepad? Just plug one into a USB port... And you're set!
You can find a cheat sheet below, you can also quickly bring it up in the game by selecting Gamepad instructions from the options menu.

A gentle grooming – game update incoming!
All paws are on board to make your Nyanya experience even more amazing, fantastic and awesome. Today, we're presenting to you an update that will surely smooth out your quest to rip the nazi furniture to splinters.
Here are the three main fixes:
- Your PC is a tad slow? Say no more! The graphics are now OPTIMIZED for slower machines.
- The game doesn't start after shutting it down without restarting your PC? I don't know what are you talking about.
- Fullscreen – we haz it.

Patched cats
We’ve heard some troubling news recently. Some of you report that the game is laggy for you or doesn’t work at all. We deemed this criticism to be constructive and we instantly jumped to fix the code and patched it with unrivaled fervor.
The three most important fixes include:
- The game now launches in fullscreen mode by default.
- Optimization fixes – the game is now a bit lighter, so it should work better, particularly on slower hardware.
- Fixes for reported bugs and errors.
As of now, everything should work just fine, and if it doesn’t... Hit us up and report the errors in our Steam Community forum.

Celebrating the Year of the Dog in Nyanya
The year of the... what now?! Wait, we should celebrate cats, not dogs! It's the world of Nyanya, remember?! Arrrgh. Ok, just don't tell the Fat Dog that the whole idea hissed me a bit. Also – I'm sorry, I tend to get a bit nervous, nyan!
Okay, so how can we honor the Chinese New Year in Nyanya? Hmm... I know! We can summon the legendary Mewlan to visit Meowdur's Gate. No worries – it's on me. We'll pay for all the magical fees, import taxes and such and set her down around here somewhere. All you need to do is to find her strolling around the city. I wonder if you'll manage to find her, nyan! She has some very interesting stories to share!

The Chinese New Year of the Dog is here! This is why we added a new cat in the main square of Meowdur’s Gate – Mewlan from the Fluffy Middle Kingdom!
Mewlan is a retired soldier, but she ain’t lazy – she has her own herd of fortune cookies, a very specific breed of pastry. She will gladly explain her work to you, along with news from her homeland and theological deliberations about Pastrania, divine goddess of pastry, patron of all pastry, who is always close to the ancient stream of yeast. Maybe you’ll even get a potion from her if you’re cunning enough…;)

Who let the cats out?
The answer is: a cube shaped hamster with the help of a particularly fat dog. Enter The Chronicles of Nyanya – an amazing indie j-RPG set in a f***ed up world of wonders! We have a lot of funnies which we’ve spiced up with memes for flavor and a bit of pop culture references sprinkled on top! And of course there are cute kitty cats as well. It's a feline world full of feline friends, so feel free to come in!
It's a story about this cute girl with a dark past named Catair who needs to go on a journey she never wanted to go on, meet people she never wanted to know and visit places she never wanted to see.
But hey – it's her destiny to become a part of this epic story and force the nazi furniture out of Nyanya! With her trusty companions, Catair will overcome every evil cat or table that stands in her way.
Oh, and did I mention you can raise your pastry? I repeat: RAISE YOUR PASTRY.

The Chronicles of Nyanya – a game created by hamstercube and published by Fat Dog Games – is now available. It’s a cRPG set in a world of cats dressed in funny costumes, full of cat magic, triis, gods and other cat-centric stuff. Humour, memes and pop culture references are the pillars of this production.
The Chronicles of Nyanya tell a story about Catair, whose heart and face are permanently marked by her dark, dramatic past. Now, she must journey to places that she didn’t want to go to and talk to cats whom she never wanted to meet... Yet, she has no other choice, because her adventourist internship won’t complete itself. On her journey, she will have a chance to become a part of an epic war between cats and an army of Nazi furniture, make a choice between following the voice of friendship or letting emo take over her heart, and also raise an orphan kaiser roll to become a true pastry warrior or… something else.
If your drug dealer sold you watered-down absurdium today and you want some more in your system, this game will definitely be your fix.
