The team is working on new art for level 2, and damn it, it's going to be an exciting year for this brutal little puzzle and party game.

Merry Christmas, Darrens!
It's the night before Christmas, and all through the house, a creature is stirring, and you're going die.
(No, it doesn't rhyme, but when you're dashing through the room, while a white-haired demon slays, you don't have time for poetry.)
The Dark Room: Level One has just gotten a rave review from PC Powerplay magazine in Australia. I'm delighted! I've think I've successfully posted the photo on here, but if not here's the link.
The team are having a break over the holiday period, but we'll be back soon, and soon the elves that weren't busy assembling toys for Santa will return to the job of assembling deathtraps for Darrens.

Been awhile! I've been on tour!
PAX Australia was a blast - we sold out of printed Steam Keys and t-shirts, but there's good news for folks who'd like to buy a The Dark Room pin down the line... stay tuned.
The Dark Room live show went off - a beautiful full theatre, I filmed it - and so did PAX on Twitch!
In Halloween news, The Dark Room was the voice for the Did You Know Gaming Extra Halloween Special
And our team of hard-working programmers (it's one guy) is squashing bugs while plans for Level 2's delivery get put together.
Nobody's gotten the Kafka achievement yet. x

NEW UPDATE: Build 0.11.1!
Welcome to the new build! Here's what we've got:
1. One of the causes of the infamous Fatal Error has been destroyed! If you're still experiencing the Fatal Error, please let us know!
2. Four new Achievements have been added! Good luck getting "Kafka".
3. Graphics options are now available on the "Options" screen.
4. Some subtitle fixes, more being rolled out as we go.
Our priority in the next bugfix is the Checkpoint-Just-Before-Death error.

Update A-Comin' + Live Shows
Another update's been scheduled, if it's not gone up already. This one includes:
1. A bunch of technical stuff I didn't entirely understand, but I hear is super-useful!
2. The first batch of new achievements we're rolling out for Level 1!

26/10 The game is being exhibited for all of PAX AUS in Melbourne with a live The Dark Room show 9pm, 26th Oct in the EB Games Theatre - if you're in the neighbourhood, swing by the booth - and then come get screamed live at the show!
Version 0.10.0 is Live!
- The spoiler is now, hopefully, permanently, dead.
- The game's icon is now The Guardian's face on Windows.
- The Fatal Error still exists at the end of The Bad Way Out. We will, however, destroy it, but first we must learn its ways.
UPDATE: Version 0.9.2 is live!
BEWARE
Update to the latest version - the puppy is no longer immortal! I repeat, the puppy will not come back from the dead after it has been killed.
More changes, fixes as we go. The team is working on level 2 - remember, if you've bought level one, you get the whole game.
