This event provides the first opportunity for you to acquire the fragments for the Aurielic Quasigriff mount!
The Aurielic Quasigriff mount
Collect all three fragments (with the final one available during a later Q2 event), and you can morph your Soulfire Dragon Illusion pet into this fearsome new mount.

Propagate the Preposterous & Earn Unique Rewards During the Jester’s Festival!
That spectacular time of year has come around once again: friends and foes alike come together, don the mask of the Harlequin, and commemorate all things absurd!
The Jester’s Festival officially kicks off March 31 at 10:00AM EDT, and continues causing chaos until April 7 at 10:00AM EDT! During this jovial romp, you can acquire buffs to XP gains and earn event-specific rewards by completing Jester’s Festival quests.
To join the festivities, head over to the jester pavilions found within the major cities of Ebonheart, Vulkhel Guard, and Daggerfall, and speak to one of three jesters who bear a striking resemblance to Jorunn the Skald-King, Queen Ayrenn, or High King Emeric. If you’re having trouble locating these sites of frivolity, you can get directions by navigating to the Crown Store and picking up the Jester's Festival Invitation Quest.
The jesters of the Jester’s Festival!
After you’ve completed the introductory quest, you’re handsomely rewarded with a delectable Pie of Misrule memento that you can find by opening up the Tools section of your Collections. Upon use during the event period, this tasty treat provides a two-hour, 100% XP buff!

Help the swashbuckling captain as he searches for a special kind of treasure amongst ancient history and the dead. Learn more about Shipwright’s Regret in this preview.

Getting Started
You can access The Elder Scrolls Online: Ascending Tide DLC game pack via ESO Plus membership or purchase it for 1,500 crowns from the in-game Crown Store (listed under DLC). Note that if your ESO Plus membership lapses, you will lose access to the DLC until you renew your membership or purchase it with crowns, but you won’t lose any items, Achievements, or other rewards you earned while you had access.

Unlock new rewards in Ascending Tide
Update 33 Base-Game Patch
Also launching in tandem with Ascending Tide is the Update 33 base-game patch, a free update that introduces new bug fixes, balance changes, performance improvements, and features.
Account-Wide Achievements
To ensure ESO’s performance remains stable as new content continues to be added to the game, most in-game achievements become account-wide with Update 33. As a result, when you earn a new achievement with one of your characters, that same achievement could count as being earned by all others. This change also alters how the Undaunted skill line advances, and your rank now increases as you complete quests within dungeons and finish Undaunted dailies. Read more about this big change to how achievement works in our preview article and forum Q&A.
New PvP Rewards
Update 33 also introduces powerful new item sets that you can earn when receiving your Rewards for the Worthy PvP loot. These three new sets (Rallying Cry, Hew and Sunder, and Enervating Aura) create new ways to play for your characters when battling in the Battlegrounds, Cyrodiil, and Imperial City. In addition to this, all PvP players can also receive style pages for the Dragonguard Berserker armor by trading in Tel Var Stones to the Tel Var merchants in the Imperial City Sewers (Alliance Rank 20 required).
The Dragonguard Berserker style
These are just some of the changes and additions coming with the free Update 33 base-game patch, so be sure to check out the full patch notes on our official forums for everything.
Your Legacy Begins
Two swashbuckling adventures await in The Elder Scrolls Online: Ascending Tide! If this stream isn’t enough to sate your appetite, check out last year’s cooking stream where Jess and Gina prepared the Prince of Madness’ favorite appetizer: Sheogorath’s Strawberry Tarts!
As usual, the team will also discuss the very latest ESO news, and there will be Twitch Drops enabled, so don’t forget to link your account. This tasty ESO Live will be live this Friday, December 17 at 2PM EST/7PM GMT on Twitch.tv/Bethesda—we’ll see you there!
