The game's escape from early access and beta is scheduled approximetly for last days of 2016, but it might get postponed for another two months and be released in early 2017 depending If I can manage to develop the game on time.

As you probably already know, there wasn't any update for almost three months. Well, it's not like I don't care about the game. The development of the game is slowly getting closer and closer to the end. I was absorbed by the most important update of the game - campaign mode. Unfortunately it's a really big update and it's also very time consuming. There are probably around 3-4 updates to full release.

Just a quick hotfix update.
Changelog:
Added Controller Support in Survive Mode
Added functioning weapon heat.
Fixed not working "Health Regeneration Upgrade" in Survive Mode.
Fixed Side Campaign Bug(Cannot invade planets).
Fixed minor bugs.

The Extinction 0.55 Released - Finally in Beta; game entirely rewritten.
Hello!
As you probably know, there wasn't any update since april. It was due to the Campaign Update Development.
Unfortunately, it's not finished yet and it's consuming me a loooot of time.
But! I think, that almost 3 months without an update is a little to long, so I managed to prepare a 0.55 beta version of the game.
It was really hard for me, since I have almost no time to work on the game.
So, here I am, sitting whole day and a night in front of a computer, trying to push this update on summer sale.. Therefore I'm really tired(it's 4 AM here and I've to go to school tomorrow :D)
Enough talking about me, here is the changelog!

The Extinction 0.60 Beta - Campaign Update News and Teaser!
Hello!
Long time, no see, folks!
I came here with some news about the upcoming campaign update.
Unfortunately, this also means that there won't be any updates untill it's released, which will be approximetly on summer 2016.

Yeah, the game will be marked as beta after the campaign is released.

What's planned in the upcoming update?
As it is early accesss game, the campaign will be released in parts.
First part is going to consist of tutorial and a prologue chapter.
This procedure will allow me to fix bugs as soon as possible and get your precious feedback about the campaign, but also you guys will have a possibility to play the game earlier.

You can start campaign three times (3 Save Slots),
Completely redesigned levels, with new assets,
Every game feature/mechanics scripted from scratch(almost like a new game),

I'm sorry for the long wait, but I haven't really got any time to work on the game. Changelog below.

Additions

Smarter AI,

Improved Gamepad Controls.
Improved turbo controls,
Slightly enlarged and redesigned maps
Color-wise improvements to side-mission indicators.
Boss now rotates.
Bullets don't fire in one particular place.

Why it took so long to develop and update?
I was working on a multiplayer for a 1,5 month, but it consumed me huge amount of time and I had to make a decision.
So, I moved this feature to the "Features that might be added after the release of the game", to focus on my promised updates.
If I didn't make that decision, the game would have been left unupdated for even more time.
Multiplayer works, but is very, veeeery unstable and not finished. I tested it with my friend and it worked, but was very glitchy, buggy and unstable, therefore I can't push it into the game.
The next bigger update wil be huuuuuge. It will consist of partly-made campaign. Yes! Campaign. Stay tuned for some more news soon.
