Unfortunately the 0.45 update has been veeery delayed due to the fact I don't have time to work on the game, therefore I can't finish the multiplayer feature, as it consumes too much time on my side and the game is not updated at all.
I moved "Multiplayer" to the features that might be added after the release of the game as I have to complete my promised updates.
So, I don't really want to establish any deadlines, therefore the only thing i'm going to say is that the next(soon) update will consist of:
- game launcher
- new, updated, smarter AI
- Bugfixes.
Multiplayer is semi-working and it's very unstable, but I don't have much time now and I can't really focus my work only on online stuff.
I'm very sorry and I hope you'll understand.
In the next months there will be more singleplayer stuff, as I'll be focused primarly on the campaign.

The Extinction 0.45 is coming! February Update Sneak-Peek
Hello, community!
Today I wanna show some of my progress in creating the Multiplayer in the game.
Important! Unfortunately game's multiplayer won't be integrated with steamworks, therefore you won't be able to send game invitations through steam.
BUT, don't worry, there will be system which will allow you to easily play with your friends. To prevent confusion, there will be a tutorial on steam :).
0.45 Multiplayer Features
- Cooperation Mode (a copy of local-coop survive mode, but online!)
- Versus Mode (Compete with your friends - similiar to deathmatch)
- Possibly up to 4 players, but for now it is done for 2.
- Creating rooms, random matchmaking, friends only rooms
- Full Controller Support
I'm trying my best to pull off all these features on time. Update should be released on 29th of February, eventually with a couple days of delay.

The Extinction 0.40.2 Hotfix Update
Hello,
Recently there were two silent updates, but I'm gonna announce this one.
Changelog:
- Full Controller Support Updates(Almost 100%, now only Settings and non-gameplay part of the tutorial is not supported but it will be!)
- Now, in settings the default resolution option dialog shows current player's resolution.
- Bugfixes
- Planet Retake Fixed.
- First part of the tutorial fully supported by controller.

Here is the January update!
Changelog:
Full Controller Support(99%, but it will be 100%)
New Side Campaign Ui (Total Overhaul of the Side Campaign Gamemode)
New Main Menu (Total Overhaul)

Code is now more efficent
So, this is is for the new update. It is actually quite a big update and it took me a lot of time to get done. The UI is now more clear and intuitive.

Destruction System: The enemy ships will have destructable parts, e.g if player shoots in the ship's wings they might fall off. Also ships are going to blow-up in to the pieces.

The Extinction 0.39 Update + Some news.
Hello,
I'm sorry for my long absence, but I hadn't really got any time to work on the game. Firstly, I wanted to finish 0.40 update with online co-op, but I'm having troubles with getting it to work propertly(it's also one of the reasons there were not updates), so instead I prepared update 0.39.
Soon I'll post a roadmap with all planned future updates.

Time has finally come and it's released!

0.37 Changelog:
<*> New Menu Background and loading effects
<*>Reworked Enemy AI: no ramming, no 100% accurate shots, randomized rate of fire depending on difficulty, shoot dodging
<*>Completely Remade Ship Controls, Physics Engine(Needs some tweaking with controller unfortunately, but works great with mouse.)
<*>Randomized player recoil while shooting.
<*>Turbo Acceleration on the ship.

The Extinction 0.37 - Almost ready!
Hello,
I've got through a long illness, but now it's time to get back to work.
I almost finished the update. It should be released by next week.
I just have to make some aim assist for controller.
Actually I planned to do some extra work with overhauling the shop in this update, but this would take some more days.
0.37 Changes:
- Completely new ship movement(physics movement)
- Turbo Charge
- New Visual Effects
- New Menu background
- Overhauled Enemy AI,
- Now, you can plug in your controller whenever you want! (Overhauled scripts)
- New shop design(MAYBE)

As you probably noticed there weren't any updates recently. The thing is, the 0.37 update should had been released this week but unfortunately it wasn't. It is delayed, due to the fact that I'm currently sick and I can't really work on the game. It should be available in a few days/week.
