Not everyone may be aware of this, but back when we were just getting started on this game, we ran a Kickstarter campaign. We succeeded, and along the way we had a backer contribute enough to have their dog added to the game for everyone to use.
With the 1.1 update, we've added Daisy Belle! She's a dalmation/pointer/who-knows-what mix. You can select her via Scout options when you start a new game.

New patch: v1.0.005
And following quickly on the last one: an audio bug was introduced in the last update. This patch fixes it. Anybody who was crashing frequently or having other audio issues as of the last update, grab this new one and all should be well.

Hot Fix v1.0.002
Hello folks,
We just posted another update. We hope to have totally stamped out the frequent audio related crash many people have experienced. We tracked it down with FMOD, the creators of the audio library we're using, and haven't seen any crashes since integrating their fix.
We're still working on additional fixes, but wanted to get this one out asap.

- Fix for getting stuck at the bait shack upon restore
- drag & drop inventory fix.

Hot fix v1.0.001
We just posted a new patch to address a number of issues users have been experiencing. We're still working on additional issues, but wanted to get this out as fast as possible.
This patch contains:
* A fix for some audio crashes
* A fix for rare broken checkpoint issue
* Fix for a rare dead-end river bug
* Fix for looping rain audio bug
* Wolf spawning fix (wolves should not spawn in initial region)

Hi folks -- big day for us here at The Molasses Flood as The Flame in the Flood officially moves out Early Access and gets its official v1 launch!
Lots of polish and fixes have gone in across the board, but the big new feature is the Campaign Mode we've been teasing for a while. It comes in two flavors, "Survivalist" (more challenging balance) and "Traveler" (for a slighly easier ramp). The latter mode also features occasional checkpoints.
Another big feature for those overseas: the game now ships with Spanish, French, German, Portugese, Polish and Russian languages.
We're posting the full changelist below.
As always, please use these forums to let us know about any problems, suggestions, etc. that you might have.
In the meantime, we hope you like the game in its final form. We loved making it for you, and we hope it comes across that this was a labor of great love for all of us here at The Molasses Flood. BEARS: Bears and bear dens have been added. They are pretty tough, so plan ahead before picking a fight.
SNAKES: Keep your eyes and ears peeled, there are now deadly snakes lurking about. If you get bit, you best fix it fast because a snake bite will kill you.
QUESTS & CACHES: You'll now encounter quests and river caches. Complete the tasks you find for additional helpful supplies.
QUICK DEPLOY: Gain fast access to key items via d-pad or numbers 4-7. Equip bows, torches, smoke jars, and tainted meat without needing to go into your inventory.

Hot Fix v0.4.002 - Save game & crash fix.
We just posted version 0.4.002. This contains 2 fixes:
- The corrupt graphics/frozen state on restore from a save game
- A rare crash related to river generation

Hot Fix v0.4.001 - tuning, audio, mac resolution fixes
We just posted a hot fix for our last update, addressing some issues players have identified.
First an important note: to fix the Mac resolution issues, we needed to nuke graphics settings, so the game will launch to windowed. You can set it back in options.

We've just posted our first major content update since going into Early Access.
Of note: previous save games will not carry over, so you will need to start a new run if you have a save.
We've fixed a ton of bugs and added a bunch of new features. Noteworthy new features include:
Bow & Arrow - craftable bow & arrows, they can be used to hunt predators & rabbits
Wasteland Biome - A new environment to explore
Buildable Camp Fires - make fires anywhere (that's not in water)
Workbenches - finally, the full crafting tree is available
Major Tuning Work - as always, feedback is needed! Item frequency, biome progression, stack sizes, crafting recipes - everything has been touched a bit.
