As you can see, we're now on track to release the game in Summer 2021, a few months later than we had hoped. We're really sorry to keep you waiting so long, but the pandemic has slowed our progress, we need a little more time to polish up the game so that you (as well as all the other users on Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Playstation 4 and Playstation 5) have the best possible experience. This game has been an absolutely massive undertaking for a small core team of 3 developers, and we're continuing to work as hard as we possibly can. Seriously. We're really grateful for your continued patience and support. Thank you! :-)
If you'd like to know the exact release date, please wishlist the game and you'll be the first to know!

The Forgotten City launch trailer... Again!
The Forgotten City has come a long way since we announced it with a trailer at the E3 PC Gaming Show back in 2018. We've built a beautiful, richly detailed and historically authentic ancient Roman city, populated with deeply interactive characters in period costume. Nobody gets a second chance at a first impression, usually. But this is a game is about going back in time and changing the past, so just for fun, we've gone back and re-visualised that 2018 trailer with visuals from the game today. Enjoy!

The Forgotten City will release in Spring 2021
Hello, everyone!
As you all know, The Forgotten City was originally planned for this Winter. We wanted to release the game in December but, given this year’s major events, we had to push back the launch. The development team is based in Australia, which was hit especially hard by 2020 and, despite our best efforts, these setbacks slowed down the production process.
Don’t worry, however; the delay only lasts one more season, and the additional time will ensure you get to play the best possible version of the game! This spring, you will finally get the opportunity to travel back in time and solve the mystery of who or what destroyed The Forgotten City.
Keep your eyes open for new announcements concerning the release date of the game: we are in the final stretch of the development of The Forgotten City and more details will come your way soon: starting early next year we will publish more frequently here on Steam to unveil the game content and its features. Don't forget to wishlist us to stay updated!
