Chapter 9 and plans for the future!

It's been a while since I've been in touch. But don't worry, the development of the game continues!


Update 0.4 will be released soon, which includes a new chapter that will bring you one step closer to the final story. In addition to the new chapter, there will be a lot of visual improvements, bug fixes and much more!
I'll post a more specific update plan later, but for now check out the first screenshot of chapter 9!


Update 0.35

Added:



  • Photo mode! Photo mode has been added to the game. Press "P" during the game to activate it.
  • Glossary. A database of the world and characters you meet along the way has been added to the game. There is not too much data there now, but the glossary will be updated in the future.
  • Character Menu. The journal window has been completely redesigned. Now it consists of 3 items: Journal, Glossary and Character. In the character menu you can see the list of learned skills, see the character's characteristics and change the cloak. In the future this menu will have other functions.

  • Almost all of the vegetation in the game has been changed to a more appropriate style.
  • Removed the cloak menu, now the button to change cloak is in the "character" menu
  • Fixed various bugs, including UI bugs

Update 0.32

Added:



  • The stun bomb has a new property. Now the blast wave from the bomb affects characters and some objects in the world. These objects can stun or even kill enemies on contact.
  • Slightly updated chapter 8

  • Hostile NPCs no longer react to projectile fragments. (And they don't fly off into the sky :) )
  • Сharacter no longer dies when moving from chapter 7 to chapter 8
  • Fixed a bug that made it impossible to craft a stun bomb
  • Fixed a bug that caused some interface elements to not disappear if they were on the screen when the tooltip appeared
  • The patrolling speed of enemies on many levels has been rebalanced
  • Fixed a bug that would not allow you to save if you re-run a chapter.

  • Added achievement for completing chapter 8

  • More text translated into German and French
  • Fixed a bug with the lever and wheel in chapter 4. Now you can't put only lever or only wheel in the mechanism. In addition, the area of interaction with the gate mechanism has been expanded
  • The level structure in chapters 4 and 6 has been changed. To get to the main part of the location in chapter 6, you need to destroy the barrier with a bomb.
  • Lots of different minor bug fixes.

  • Chapter 8! - Welcome to the foothills! A new region that was once inhabited by mountain dwellers. You are one step closer to discovering the cause of the cataclysm!
  • Alternate lantern mode - now you can burn your enemies and burn some obstacles. This mode consumes much more energy.
  • Interactive objects - now you can interact with some objects. Move and climb crates, push wagons and hit enemies with them!

Update 0.25

It so happened that the version 0.24 bypassed the main version of the game and appeared only in the demo.
Demo at the moment stays on version 0.24, and the main version goes straight to 0.25
So what's new?


Added:

  • New level - Riverport prison! Chapter 5 is now available in two options. Instead of the sawmill and the town of Riverport, you can now go through Riverport Prison and its surroundings. To get to Riverport Prison, you must exit the town in Chapter 4 through an underground tunnel, or go out through a gate and in Chapter 5 find a cave that will lead you to the prison gate.
  • New UI! - Many interface elements have been updated. The main HUD, the crafting window, the main menu, etc.
    In addition, updated the display of the projectile trajectory
  • Updated intro level. The intro now looks much better, and also includes a larger stealth section
  • 3D goal widgets - Now after receiving a new task, for a while you will be able to see the 3D widget which indicates the place you need to get to and the distance to it. This widget is only visible permanently if you are holding a lantern
  • Added 2 new achievements

  • Small corrections to the Spanish, English, and German translations
  • Various balance changes. The weight of some items has been changed, as well as the amount of loot at levels
