Game Update V 0.89.7 Has Been Released! New Features And Bug Fix!

Hi everyone, please kindly be informed that, game update version 0.89.7 has been released.

The major focus of this update is to implement more function at the dungeon entrance hall and to perform bug fix.

Please find below the patch notes:

New Content:

1. New descriptions added for new and upcoming function of the dungeon entrance hall

2. "Diary" has been added to the dungeon entrance hall as a way to reset proficiency and rune point allocation

3. "Practice dummy" has been added to the dungeon entrance hall for player to test out and get familiar with each hero's skill

4. "Holy Altar" has been added to the dungeon entrance hall as a way to revive dead heroes in coming update

5. "Magic Nullify Chest" has been added to the dungeon entrance hall as a way to disenchant equipment in coming update

6. Player can now use scroll wheel to switch between heroes

7. Player can now access the official game guide by clicking the "Book Icon with ?" at top right corner of the screen (while at the entrance hall)

Existing Content Changes:

1. Screen shake has been removed from boss fight #4

2. Moving platform at boss fight #4 will now move slower and smooth out its speed, hero can now move faster than the platform and can avoid being pushed by the sides (however, hero will not move together with the platform since it will hinder normal control)

3. Camping on the platform will now lock the hero and the campfire in position for the full duration

4. Necromancer's ghost attack will now work when being casted in the abyss of boss fight #3. For boss fight #4, the ghost attack was working fine, thus there was no change required

5. Map design has been changed for boss fight #2 to avoid the boss getting stuck in certain situation

6. Hero will now replenish HP when getting hurt at the entrance hall

Bug Fix:

1. A bug that causes boss fight #3 to have middle gate locked by mistake after teleportation has been fixed. The gate will now be locked when hero teleport back to the dungeon and can be unlocked after destroying the other two statues

2. A bug that allows hero to dash and camp through the middle gate of boss fight #3 has been fixed

Upcoming Patch V 0.89.7 (Targeted Release: 11:00 PDT/ 18:00 GMT)

Hi everyone, please kindly be informed that, the next upcoming patch V 0.89.7 is currently targeted to be released by 15-Jul-2018 (11:00 PDT / 18:00 GMT).

This update will implement more functions at the entrance hall (safe zone). These include proficiency reset, practice dummy etc. Switching hero using scroll wheel will also be implemented.

Game Update V 0.89.5 Important Game Performance Improvements And Graphical Enhancements!

Hi everyone, please kindly be informed that, game update version 0.89.5 has been released. Demo version update will also be released very soon.

The main focus of this update is to provide significant improvements to game performance and graphical enhancements.

Game Changes:

1. An existing bug that causes game to suffer from occasional frame drops has been fixed

2. New dungeon torchlight animation/effect has been implemented

3. Dungeon entrance area has been decorated with more props with extra function to be implemented in upcoming patches

4. New background music has been added for entrance area (after tutorial completion)

Game Update V 0.89.4 Released! New Teleport System and Lots of Game Improvements!

Hi everyone! Please kindly be informed that, game update version 0.89.4 has just been released!

The main focus of this update is the implementation of teleportation system and other game improvements.

Please kindly find below the patch notes:

New Contents And Improvements:

1. New Teleport System Implemented:

(i). Each dungeon level (including entrance hall) will have a teleportation device located at the starting area

(ii). Each teleportation device will have 1 charge and can be used (by right clicking on it) once to teleport heroes from dungeon back to entrance hall

(iii). All heroes will receive full heal through teleportation to the entrance hall

(iv). Dead hero will not be revived through teleportation

(v). Player can right click on the teleportation device at the entrance hall to return to the latest dungeon level (dungeon will reset)

2. Major boss HP bar overhead and boss name has been implemented:

(i). For each major boss fight, there will be a HP bar on top of the screen

(ii). The HP bar will have the name of the boss and will disappear once the boss is defeated

3. New text warning when hero's shield has depleted. "SHIELD DOWN" will appear over hero to warn player

4. More decorations added to entrance hall (work in progress)

5. Gates of entrance hall to dungeon level 1 will now be closed after first entry

Bug Fix:

1. Fixed a bug that causes monster to spawn multiple times after loading a game

2. Dungeon level 6 now has more stringent borders to avoid exploit and gameplay issue

3. Dungeon level 6 mid chamber's tower should now function as intended

4. Ranger's knockback will not work against boss now

5. Ranger's sword attack will now display correct damage numbers

Game Update V 0.89.3 Released! Softcore And Hardcore Mode Implemented! More Game Improvements!

Hi everyone! I am pleased to inform you that, game update version 0.89.3 has just been released!

The main focus of this update is the implementation of softcore and hardcore mode. As previously mentioned, softcore mode will be more player friendly and will allow player to restart at a checkpoint after team wipe. Whilst hardcore mode remains the same rules and difficulty as before.

Please kindly find below the patch notes:

New Contents And Improvements:

1. Main menu screen has been updated with new weather effects (visual and sound)

2. Softcore mode and hardcore mode has been implemented

3. Soulstone device (checkpoint) has been added for softcore mode

4. In-game description of softcore mode and hardcore mode has been added

5. Softcore:

(i). Game will automatically save at each checkpoint (starting area of each dungeon, indicated by the blue soulstone)

(ii). After team wipe, player can return to the last checkpoint (hero will not be revived if a hero has died before reaching a checkpoint)

(iii). Game will no longer be saved other than at a checkpoint

6. Hardcore:

(i). Game will be saved automatically and frequently

(ii). There will be no checkpoint

(iii). Team wipe is permanent

7. New Steam achievements added for both softcore and hardcore mode

8. More details and decorations have been added to dungeon level 2


Bug Fix:

1. A bug that causes summoned undead mage to trigger incorrect attack animation has been fixed

2. A bug that causes UI to get stuck and not pausing the game properly has been fixed

Game Update V 0.89.2 Has Been Released! Dungeon Level Names Implemented And Major Bug Fix!

Hi everyone, please take note that, game update version 0.89.2 has just been released.

The main focus of this update is to implement the dungeon level names and some major bug fix.

Please find below the patch notes:

New Content:

1. Name for each dungeon level has been added

2. Upon entering a dungeon, the name of that area will appear for a short duration

Changes of Existing Content:

1. Arrow hitting sound of ranger has been altered to be more on-point

Bug Fix:

1. Fixed a bug that prevent player from entering dungeon level 7

2. Fixed a bug that causes dungeon level 7 mini boss to get stuck

3. Fixed a bug that causes dungeon level 7 mini boss's immunity not functioning as intended

4. Attack will now pass through dungeon level 7 mini boss when immunity is in effect

Game Update V 0.89.1 (Demo V 1.80) Released! New Features And Game Adjustments!

Hi everyone! Please kindly be informed that, game update version 0.89.1 and demo version 1.80 has just been released!

The major focus of this update is to implement several new features, including new animated cursors that indicate whether a super attack is on/off cooldown and ready to be activated. In addition, the new entrance area has also received a few adjustments to better align with game play mechanics.

Please kindly find below the patch notes:

New Features and Changes:

1. New animated cursor which helps to indicate whether current hero's super attack is ready to cast or not (green = ready; red = on cooldown timer)

2. Starting area (after tutorial completed) will no longer increase hunger

3. Starting area (after tutorial completed) will no longer reduce torch duration

4. Starting area (after tutorial completed) will have no tarot card of the day being activated

5. Starting area (after tutorial completed) will have time stopped (day count stops)

6. Day number will now reset to Day 0 when entering dungeon level 1

Bug Fix:

1. Pyromancer's fireball will now play sound correctly at the starting area

2. Pyromancer's fireorb will now play sound correctly when being activated while overlapping a barrier

3. A bug that causes User Interface to occasionally stuck has been fixed

Game Update V 0.89 Released! Major Game Changes Implemented! Difficulty Balancing!

Hi everyone, please kindly be informed that, game update version 0.89 has just been released. Demo version will also be updated later.

This update has brought major changes to the initial tutorial session by introducing a all new starting area "The Entrance Hall".
This tutorial shall be more slow paced (step by step) and interactive than before.

The UI has also been updated with automatic game pause when accessing inventory and menus.

Gems color has been altered to make them stands out from each other.

Finally, invincibility frames after receiving damage has been increased by 50% and will now ignore all damage and debuff from monster and trap.

Further fine tuning of this new starting area will be implemented, the current target is to make this as a "Safe House" for the heroes.

Current Concept (Not Yet Implemented): During adventure, heroes can teleport back to this "Safe House" to sort things out away from the dangerous dungeon area (possible limitation of teleportation might apply).

2. Bringing up the User Interface will now automatically pause the game

3. Pressing "Esc" button can now bring out / close the in-game menu

4. In-game menu is now accessible even after team wipe

Game Balancing:

1. Invincibility frames after receiving damage has been increased by 50%

2. Invincibility frames being active will now ignore all damage and debuff from monster and trap

Bug Fix:

1. A bug that causes sound to malfunction occasionally when pyromancer's fireball hits multiple enemies has been fixed
