Game Update V 1.01.0 Has Been Released! Game Adjustments and Bug Fix!

Hi everyone, please kindly be informed that, game update version 1.01.0 has just been released.

The major focus of this update is to perform some game adjustments and polishing based on player's experience. There are also a few bugs identified which are now fixed.

New Content / Game Changes:

Dungeon "The Mine Railway":

1. New cart controls UI have been added next to the mine cart to help player better understand how to control the cart during boss fight

Dungeon "Abandoned Shipyard" & "Ancient Temple of Zahir":

1. New notification message has been added to instruct player on how to control the boat

Dungeon "Ancient Temple of Zahir - Level 1":

1. When heroes returns to the entrance hall, Major boss "Gatekeeper Titanotem" and his turrets will no longer reset after being defeated

2. Major boss "Gatekeeper Titanotem" has aggro range increased and will only awake when player get closer to it

3. Major boss "Council Elder Nashrado" lightning strike attack will no longer disappear immediately after hitting the hero

Dungeon "The Ark":

1. Wall mounted laser turret will no longer be auto-targeted by heroes except for the rogue

2. Major boss "The Ancient One" will now set heroes' shield recharge rate to zero when getting close to the hero (heroes cannot recharge shield)

Bug Fix:

1. A bug that causes certain bosses and their minions not reset correctly when starting a new game has been fixed

Game Update V 1.00.1 Has Been Released! Bugs Hotfix!

Hi everyone, hope you are enjoying the game! I would like to kindly inform you that, game update version 1.00.1 has just been released.

The major focus of this update is to perform a few bugs hotfix that was just recently identified.

Please find below patch notes for details:

Bug Fix:

General:

1. A bug that causes wandering vendor buttons UI not disappearing correctly has been fixed

2. A bug that causes "Soul Energy" not displayed correctly in controller mode when pressing 'A' over the "Soul Energy UI" has been fixed

3. Player can now press 'A' button to return to last checkpoint / retry after wipe when using the controller as intended. Game over screen has also been updated with appropriate instructions

Dungeon "Mine Railway":

1. A bug that causes player unable to control the mine cart properly with controller has been fixed

Dungeon levels with boat controls (11,12,13):

1. A bug that causes player unable to control the boat properly with controller has been fixed

2. A bug that causes boat animation not displayed correctly when controlling using controller has been fixed

Game Official Launch! Version 1.00.0 Released! New Leaderboards and More Bug Fix!

Hi everyone! Finally we make it to official launch! Game update version 1.00.0 has just been released! There is currently a 10% launch discount!

It has been quite a journey since we first entered early access back in May. Over the past 6 and a half months, we have gone through over 100 updates and I am happy that the game is finally ready to be officially released.

I would like to thanks all the players that have contributed to the development and provided their most valuable complaints and feedback! Without your input, the game would not be able to grow and improve so much from its original state.

Even now we are out of early access, I will continue to uphold the current standard of fast response to address player's questions and suggestions.

I look forward to hear back from you and will try my very best to address any issue or request wholeheartedly.

Game Update V 0.99.9 Released! New Achievements Added! More Background Music and Bug Hotfix!

Hi everyone! Please kindly be informed that game update V 0.99.9 has just been released!

The major focus of this update is to include the remaining achievements and to add more background music for later stages. This patch also includes a major bug hotfix that causes player unable to allocate proficiency points when playing in keyboard + mouse mode.

As previously mentioned, the game will be officially launched tomorrow! (29th of Nov 2018). The current targeted release time is 11:00 AM (GMT) / 03:00 AM (PDT).

Please kindly take note that, there will be a launch discount of 10% off, so please go ahead and grab the game within the first week of launch!

1. Six new achievements have been added, the total number of achievements increased from 19 to 25

2. Telepathic voice over has been updated to align better with subtitles

3. New "Lightning Strike" attack has been added to major boss "Council Elder Nashrado"

4. Major boss "Gatekeeper Titanotem" will now wake up earlier before all turrets are destroyed

5. New background soundtracks have been added to better fit the scene and boss fight atmosphere, old soundtracks have also received adjustments

Bug Fix:

1. An audio glitch that occurs during major boss fight "Gatekeeper Titanotem" has been fixed

2. A bug that causes player unable to allocate proficiency points while in keyboard + mouse mode has been fixed

3. A bug that causes player unable to close the in-game menu by clicking on the menu icon has been fixed

4. A bug that causes end stage boss interaction to not functioning properly has been fixed

5. A bug that causes end stage boss interaction to show controller buttons while in keyboard + mouse mode has been fixed

That's all for now, version 1.0.0 will be released prior to official launch tomorrow and will include the last batch of bug fix (if any) and the introduction of 4 new leadership boards. The current leadership board will be renamed as "Early Access" and will be retired but remained on the community page.

Game Update V 0.99.8 Released! Full Controller Support Accomplished! More Game Fine Tuning!

Hi everyone, I am happy to inform you that, game update V 0.99.8 has just been released.

The major focus of this update is to implement full Xbox controller support to the game. There are also multiple adjustments and changes included.

Please find below the patch notes for more details:

New Content / Changes:

1. Full Xbox controller support now implemented

2. Player can now interact with the in-game menus and read tooltips using the controller to control a virtual cursor

3. Player can call upon the virtual cursor by pressing LB + RB buttons in game. The game will be paused and player can control the virtual cursor to desired location and press 'A' button to either open an in-game menu or to retrieve more information (tooltips) from items / icons

4. Tutorial has been updated to align with the controller option

5. Dungeon "Culvert" has objectives updated to better align with the latest changes

6. Wandering vendor has been updated and can now interact with player while using a controller

7. Start-up menu now also has controller support for resolution settings and windowed mode settings

8. Controller support has been added for final stage interaction options

9. Controller support has been added for player to interact with dungeon entrance 'Chest Reward'; 'Revival Altar' and 'Diary'

10. Game will no longer resume when a tarot failed to activate due to low on soul energy

11. Rogue's disorientation potion will now target closest enemy when nearby traps have been disarmed (for controller auto-aim only)

12. Final stage graphical effects will no longer cover character conversations

13. Final stage hidden boss has received adjustment to have more randomized attack patterns

Bug Fix:

1. A bug that causes hero to continue receive damage after defeating the "Big Three" at Dungeon "The Lost Temple of Zahir - Level 2" has been fixed

2. A bug that causes graphical glitch to character conversations has been fixed

3. A bug that causes problem with game progress reset has been fixed

4. A typographical error for ending scene has been corrected

Game Update V 0.99.7 Released! New Launching Screen, More Controller Support and Many Changes!



Hi everyone, please kindly be informed that, game update version 0.99.7 has just been released.

The major focus of this update is to add a new launching screen that allow player to select preferred control (controller / mouse + keyboard) before proceeding into the game. With the release of this patch, player can now completely rely on controller to interact with the game from launch.

The next update will focus on the remaining interaction between the controller and in-game menu / UI. After then, the game should be able to achieve full Xbox controller support.

As previously mentioned, the current targeted full release is by the end of this month (29-Nov-2018) if everything goes well.

New Content / Changes:

1. Addition of new game launching screen:

-Players can now choose their preferred control before entering the game (controller / mouse + keyboard)

-Addition of controller support to main menu, tarot picking menu and team builder menu

2. Controls were swapped between "LB/RB" and "LT/RT" buttons and are now aligned with the control description

3. While using the controller / scroll wheel to change heroes, now it can loop through dead heroes without the need to rotate backwards

4. Controller has received adjustment to avoid hero unable to dash in a straight line

5. Player can now press "LB" button near the teleportation device to return to the dungeon entrance instead of pressing the "A" button. This is to lower the chance for player to accidentally returning to the entrance hall

6. Spawned minions will no longer drop any items nor provide any soul energy nor kill counts upon death.

7. Dungeon "The Lost Ruins of Zahir - Level 1" major boss "Council Elder Nashrado" minion spawning algorithm has been changed to avoid major performance issue

Bug Fix:

General:

-A bug that causes progress reset to happen by accidentally clicking on invisible button has been fixed

Dungeon "The Lost Ruins of Zahir - Level 1":

-A bug that causes uncontrolled minion spawning by "Council Elder Nashrado" has been fixed

Dungeon "The Ark":

-A bug that causes the green laser to continue dealing damage to hero after prism destroyed has been fixed

-A bug that causes tarot cards to remain visible after all tarot cards removed has been fixed

-A bug that causes heroes to be destroyed upon entering final stage has been fixed

Game Update V 0.99.6 Released! Partial Gamepad Support Implemented!



Hi everyone! Please kindly take note that, game update version 0.99.6 has just been released!

The major focus of this update is the implementation of partial gamepad support in response to players' requests.

Please find below patch notes for more details!

New Content / Changes:

1. Game will now provide partial gamepad support. The details are as follows:

Player can now press "F1" in game (inside the dungeon) to switch between gamepad / keyboard + mouse as primary control.

At the mean-time, player can do the followings using the gamepad:

-Movement
-Attack, Use Skills, Cast Spells
-Dash
-Camping
-Drink Potion
-Light Torch
-Switch The Position Off-hand and Main-hand Equipment
-Activate Teleport Device
-Switch Heroes

The above basically covered almost 90% of the action while adventuring within the dungeon.

However, interaction with UI is still limited to mouse and keyboard, future updates might allow more gamepad functions to be implemented.


2. While in gamepad mode, closest enemy/trap will be targeted automatically and player no longer need to aim manually

3. Current target locked by auto-targeting will have a faint white dotted line linking it with the hero

4. New control manual has been added when accessing in-game menu by pressing 'ESC'

5. Ranger's dual wielding attack has been adjusted to perform better with the implementation of gamepad support

6. Player can now activate teleport device by pressing button 'A' of their Xbox gamepad when getting close enough

7. Tutorial has been updated with notification asking player to check the new control manual

8. Dungeon 'The Culvert' has received some minor adjustments to provide better map randomization

Bug Fix:

1. A bug that causes graphical glitch at Dungeon 'Scarlet Barrack' has been fixed

Game Update V 0.99.5 Released! Autumn Sale and 150th Announcement!

Hi everyone, I am happy to inform you that, game update version 0.99.5 has been released.

This is also my 150th announcement and we have come a long way since early access was launched! I would like to thank all of you with your ongoing support to this game!

The game is now on autumn sale with 10% discount, please go ahead and grab it now and play before official launch by the end of this month!

The major focus of this update is to further fine tune the game and to continue fixing as much bugs as possible. In addition, new set of achievements have been added with a total number of 19 achievements now. More will be added very soon before official launch!

1. New achievements and achievement icons were added, with a current total of 19 achievements available for player to unlock

2. New environmental props added to most of the dungeon levels to make them look more atmospheric and more lively

4. Picking a star now will also pop up an notification "INVINCIBLE" as a reminder to player

5. Teleportation device in dungeon now has tooltip updated informing player can revive dead heroes back at the entrance hall

1. Mini boss visual range has now been increased

1. Council Elder Nashrado and his minions have had their visual range increased

2. Council Elder Nashrado summoning portal will now fade out after a few seconds

4. Council Elder Nashrado's summoning portal will no longer drop items

Dungeon "The Lost Temple of Zahir - Level 2"

1. Energy panels at the major boss fight have their collision box adjusted and will now less likely to hurt player standing on the edge of the panel

Dungeon "The Underworld"

1. Boss's name and HP bar will only be shown when player enter the boss room

2. Boss "Missile Turret" missiles will now track down player during initial launch

Dungeon "The Ark"

1. The notification of debuff "PARALYZED" and "BLINDED" will now show for a longer time and will no longer shrink

2. New wall mounted laser turret has been added and can be disarmed by the rogue's disorientation potion. However, the laser turret can restart itself after few seconds

Bug Fix:

1. General:

(i). A bug that causes tarot card picked up notification in event log not displayed correctly has been fixed

(ii). A bug that causes conversation skip not functioning properly has been fixed

(iii). A graphical glitch related to storytelling words fading in and out has been fixed

Game Update V 0.99.4 Released! Remaining Story Development And Conversations Implemented.

Hi everyone, please kindly be informed that game update version 0.99.4 has been released.

The major focus of this update is to implement the remaining story development and character conversations. There are quite a few bugs being fixed too.

Although previously thought that the ending should be kept a secret before official launch, but since much efforts and time is required to beat the game, there is no point to hide it if a player has tried so hard to finish the game now.

1. All remaining conversations and story development has been added to the game

2. Objectives have been added to the final stage

3. Major boss from "The Ark" has been renamed to "The Ancient One"

4. Major boss from "The Ark" will now drop a major arcana tarot card when being defeated

1. A bug that causes player to get stuck at "The Ark" has been fixed

2. A bug that causes character conversation bubble to display incorrectly for "The Underworld" has been fixed

3. A bug that causes food dropped not positioned correctly at "The Underworld" has been fixed

Game Update V 0.99.3 Released! Most Character Conversations Implemented And Other Changes!

Hi everyone! Please kindly take note that, game update version 0.99.3 has just been released!

The major focus of this update is to implement character conversations for all the stages except for the final stage, which will be released closer to official launch to avoid early spoilers.

New Content / Changes:

1. Character conversations have been added for all stages except final stage

2. Some existing storytelling wordings have been changed to better fit the story development

3. Pressing X now will interrupt conversations anytime

4. Damage numbers will now fade out faster and will be less likely to block the screen

5. Boris (Axedancer - Calvary) will now damage all enemies on his path and the damage has been significantly increased

Bug Fix:

1. Dungeon 6 (Hall of Trinity) mid chamber has its towers' hit collision fixed to better detect collision with character

2. A bug that prevent dungeon 6 (Hall of Trinity) mid chamber towers unable to initiate pulse attack has been fixed

3. A bug that causes display glitch for dungeon 6 (Hall of Trinity) mid chamber towers has been fixed
