We have made a slight update to the game, mainly with the following contents: Before release, we are opening up a beta test branch, if you'd like to participate, kindly head over to our Discord channel for the test code.
1. Fixed issues where specific heroes had mismatched stories 2. Fixed inconsistencies in wording for specific factions 3. Fixed the text box being unable to scroll down issue for secret realms 4. Fixed unlock-able issue for illustrations 68 and 69 5. Added details for faction and character feature limits for hero illustrations 6. Displays added for "who destroyed your defense walls" after destruction 7. Added auto skip option for loading screen (excluding battle scenes) 8. Battle scene blood xp display optimization, making it more clear for players. 9. Fixed the abnormal errors for attack speed boosts 10. Added three skills: "fireball bombing", "space kill", "double-kill shot" 11. Added display for soldier name and level 12. Increased difficulty for "Hard" level, each hero can only act on defense once on hard level 13. Equipment adjustments: Some green equipments can no longer be found through search or store, can only be obtained in secret realm 14. Equipment characteristics: Adjusted and standardized the equipment features 15. Adjustments to specific heros' characteristics and growth pattern, as well as way of obtaining specific heroes. Some can only be found through faction missions, not search. 16. Optimized AI intelligence

10.23 Fixes & Updates
Hi all,
Here come another update to fix a few things right before we enter the weekend:
1. Adjustments made to the AI damage frequency, aiming to make "destruction" activity more meaningful. 2. Improved the strength of Lajos and Shahram 3. Fixed error displays in the user tutorial 4. Optimized the numerics in "collect" and "normal" play modes 5. Optimized the destruction skill of Lajos and Shahram 6. Fixed a bug where you could train locked heroes 7. Fixed an issue of unable to unlock certain achievements on Steam due to a bug affected by Steam's server 8. Fixed a bug caused by AI-led negotiations offering unreasonable amounts of gold 9. Added button to check hero list through faction. 10. Fixed a bug associated with hero exp bar being full and continuing to load unstop.

10.21 Major Update Alert
Hi all,
We have another major update released today, details below:
1. In "easy" game difficulty, we adjusted the limit to hero maintenance fee in order to allow for the collection of more heroes.
2. We have made AI more aggressive in attacks in "hard" game difficulty, which makes growth faster but will also experience heavier economic pressure, this was made in mind of those who like more challenge.
3. Added a categorization filter for heroes based on their equipment/gear type.
4. Only one pop up character dialogue when commanding multiple heroes to "search" missions.
5. When a new hero is found, you can choose to "accept" or "deny" that hero from joining your faction, this also avoids the repeated action of "exiling" a hero you do not want.
6. Adding the setting option of turning on or off the skill animation during battle, you can now choose to turn it on or off to avoid the zooming in and out when skills are released.
7. Adjusted the maintenance levels to have more reasonable fees.
8. Fixed calculation errors for negotiation system, which was originally causing the cost of agreements to be too low. Also fixed the system error occurring in city trading (i.e. not allowing you to trade off your last city).
9. AI optimization, making AI's actions more reasonable and economy behavior deviate less from normal.
10. Strengthened the Shadow Undead faction, added a "golden" material for the Shadow Undead leader's main weapon.

2020 Last Quarter + 2021 Update Plans
Hi everyone. It’s been 5 full days since our early access release - we want to say a BIG “Thank you” to all those who not only supported us but gave us some valuable takeaways that would help us improve the game. We want to reassure everyone that we took the time to go through each and every feedback. The following is a big picture roadmap on our plan to improve the existing build. If you haven’t already joined our Discord, we strongly encourage you to do so - for discussions, manuals/guides on beating level difficulties, and reporting future bugs and feedback. We welcome more ideas and feedback, please see a draft our roadmap:
Easier things to solve: 1. Add notification to remind you certain treaties will expire/come close to due date 2. Optimize the “Lobby” mechanism 3. Adjustments to city tax rates 4. Add more functionalities to “Unified Direct” to allow more things to be done at once 5. New faction strengths: Cit wall, city prosperity, soldier and commander auto recover ratio 6. Expand on alliance: for example, allowing for alliance military to support you in battle 7. New UI change
Slightly harder things: 1. Battle optimization: Adding concepts of geography, adding player command flexibility etc. 2. Secret realms: Adding secret realm battles and random selection of items 3. Faction strengths: Plunders and sacrifices after battle wins 4. Soldier type mechanisms: Soldiers categorized by factions, adding characteristics based on faction and change of conditions to unlock different soldier types
Hardest things: 1. Faction mastery tree system 2. Steam Workshop 3. Customizable/Self-defined factions
Extra ideas we’re pondering: 1. Redesign the faction “Shadow Undead” including its design and faction strengths 2. “Collapse” level from interrogation 3. DLCs
We’re grateful for this support so far and for understanding we’re an indie development team of 4. Despite the bigger pillars we’ll be working on and brainstorming ideas to smoothen out the edges, we will still be making bug fixes and updates regularly and keeping everyone posted. 10.17 Regular Update
We'll be uploading another build today fixing some bugs and optimizations, details below:
1. Fixed hero and soldier EXP calculation animation display issue 2. Fixed mission window and localization display issues 3. Corrected trigger behavior for achievements 4. Fixed loophole on that causes skip of "celebration" cool down time 5. Fixed the problem of being unable to "complete" missions after mission requirements have been met 6. Fixed the issue associated with certain soldier types being unable to unlock - specifically "Butcher" and "Necromancer" 7. Added the processing of city defense clearing to zero once a city has been destroyed 8. Increased the limit of "discount" for the Treasurer position 9. Fixed display errors of some documents 10. Fixed the bug associated with numerical display 11. Optimized the success rate of "negotiations" 12. Increased the overall powers of the preset heroes in faction "Shadow Undead" 13. Improved frequency of open sites for "exploration"
10.16 Fixes and updates
We have made a regular update with the following:
1. Expansion of battle area and further freedom to maneuver, players can now retreat to delay attacks from enemy forces.
2. Added emergency city defense mechanism - When one city within the faction is destroyed, all other cities within the faction will enjoy a temporarily added emergency defense protection; the more cities destroyed, the higher emergency protection level. After two rounds, the temporary emergency mechanism will be cancelled.
3. Fixed partial feature malfunctions caused by in-game font settings.
4. Fixed numerical display errors in certain tasks/missions.
5. Slightly increased the maintenance fees for heroes.
6. Adjusted frequency of AI lobbying towards faction heroes.
7. Fixed bug associated with symbols/numeric settings which caused screen/game progress freeze.
We are currently working on the abnormal text & game-freezing bugs.
We sincerely apologize for the in-game bugs that are causing an unpleasant gaming experience, we've identified the issues to be:
1) Player round encounters an error during calculation, displaying abnormal text series, due to the decimal/numeric system being different in different countries 2) Game freeze upon enemy turn, due to an inexplicable error of causing a jump to player turn when it should be AI turn
We're currently patching and fixing these issues and expect to have the update within 24 hours. We apologize again to all who are experiencing this issue and hope to return a great gameplay experience to you. Thanks again for supporting us.
The Heroic Legend of Eagarlnia Early Access is now available!
The early access version contains the full English and Chinese gameplay, available now!
We will be sending a more detailed patch notes on the changes/fixes since the demo version, but the early access gameplay has optimized English localization and a full fledged achievement system. We also fixed certain bugs associated with specific PC settings that causes freeze and game loading.
We hope this full version will give you a smooth gaming experience.
