Patch Notes v0.3.32

Patch notes for the latest release

  • Fixed issue with shepherding that was conflicting with Kin work allocation
  • Shepherded animals are now indicated by a glowing yellow light
  • Animals can now be herded through gates
  • Adjusted sleep to prevent Kin getting stuck between sleep and active animations
  • Removed several screen resolution settings that were too small to support the main menu
  • Removed hydration from Kin statistics
  • Fixed issues with shadow settings not applying
  • Fixed issue with some selections disappearing

Adjusted harvesting of grown crops. There are still issues with harvesting that we will be working on tomorrow but these adjustments should remove some of the current problems people are experiencing. INTERIM WORKAROUND: If you save and re-load the game it seems to solve the problem. Not ideal but we hope to be able to fix this problem shortly.

PLEASE NOTE: Kin shepherding animals are unable to perform any other work until you right click the animal and choose cancel. Animal can only be selected after the kin has been de-selected.

Difficulty Modes

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday we added a range of difficulty modes to the game after receiving feedback that the game was just too hard to survive.

You now have the choice of easy, medium and hard on start up.

What’s the difference between the three game options?

In a nutshell, the starting resources change, in effect making the game easier to play.

If you’d rather not struggle through your first game day searching for food and living on the edge then we recommend starting in EASY mode. However keep in mind that the game was originally designed to be played in hard mode.

Easy mode will give you a variety of building materials, several beds, a wind turbine, electrical cables and all of the essential crafting machinery including a metalworking bench.
