Version 1.2 (Beast Battle Tournament) Test Introduction
This test is expected to last until April 1st. (The current version of the text we use machine translation, we will replace it with human translation before the subsequent launch!)

Issues and bugs found during testing can be reported in discord, but you need to specify that they are bug submissions from the test branch.
Test Content Introduction
We will gradually update the test content during the testing phase.
It is highly recommended that you migrate your official version saves to the test version for testing.
1: The commission system has been redone. Now, NPCs will generate commissions based on various conditions, and you can view the commissions at the envelope icon in the lower-left corner. The original tasks can also be abandoned.
2: The pet system’s growth aspects related to the Beast Battle Tournament have not yet been fully completed, so currently only the battle experience is available. When both the player and the opponent have pets, you can choose "Beast Battle" during actions to engage in a betting fight. Depending on different conditions, different bet options will be displayed. The bets may also vary somewhat due to NPC personality differences. During battle, once one side finishes their move for a few seconds, the round ends. Then you can choose to enhance abilities. Enhancing abilities will provide a bond effect on the left side. (Since the pet growth system is not yet complete, refresh and pet personality growth are not yet available; you can only experience basic battles.) If a pet’s momentum (HP) drops to zero, it fails. If a pet's anger meter fills up, it will unleash its ultimate move; different pets have different ultimate effects. (Currently not viewable.)
3: We have invested in some new skills, Inner Kungfu, and Mnemonics. "Stormy Swift Sword" is obtained by completing the Star Web Sword Network related task. "Lion's Roar Skill" is obtained by completing the Knife Fanatic Sword Maniac related task. "Soul Devouring Great Method" is obtained by sparring with Dark Delivery of Impermanence at a certain chance. "Drifting Swordplay" is obtained by sparring with Wandering for Swords at a certain chance. (Mnemonics and Inner Kungfu are not yet released.)
Pet Battle Testing Methods
Since the current version does not yet implement pet growth and NPC pet allocation, heroes are required to use the cheat function to assign pets to NPCs.
After opening the cheat page, click "Add Pet", choose a pet, and then select an NPC to assign the pet to.
After adding, you can go to the input tab, click "Teleport", and teleport to that NPC's side.
If an NPC has multiple pets, one pet will be randomly selected to battle. If a player has multiple pets, they can use the subordinate management, click "Summon" to call one pet to their side for battle.
Note: In the current version, the subordinate page will only update its display after the pet has arrived; it will not update immediately. This will be optimized in a future update.

German and Russian Localization Update! Beast Battle Tournament Update Preview!
In this update, we've added Russian and German localization. However, due to the lack of team members with relevant cultural backgrounds, we used AI translation followed by manual proofreading. There may be some issues with the translations. If you have any suggestions or corrections during gameplay, feel free to join our Discord channels for German or Russian to discuss with us. We will also continue to update new language localizations in future updates.
Upcoming Changes and Adjustments
We have postponed the AI optimization and identity gameplay update to version 1.3 (slight delay). In the next version (1.2), we will introduce the brand-new Beast Battle Tournament system (with a pet training feature, the ability to battle NPCs in Beast Battles, and new events, new storylines, new skills, and new mnemonics).
We will also be optimizing and iterating on the commission and event systems. The commission system will become independent of the current task system and will become individual requests from NPCs. Rewards will be adjusted based on the commissioner's strength and task difficulty.
For event-related content, we've optimized the logic to execute multiple events separately without interference (reducing the issue where an event may be interrupted by another, preventing the triggering of the second event).
Public Testing Branch Activation
The Matchless Kungfu will start the Steam public testing branch with version 1.2. Due to differences in player computer configurations and the game's design freedom, we find it difficult to pinpoint some players' bugs. In future updates, we will release some new version content to the testing package before the update, allowing you to experience it and help us with optimization to improve the final version's game quality. After the testing begins, all players who have purchased The Matchless Kungfu or will purchase it in the future can find the The Matchless Kungfu Test Server tool in their library.

Long time no see! It has been over 40 days since the official release of The Matchless Kungfu. Now, it’s time to bring you the promised updates! The first medium-to-large-scale update since the official release is finally here!
Focus After This Update
Following this update, we will concentrate our efforts on optimizing NPC AI, improving game performance, and further developing identity-based gameplay mechanics.
Next year, we will launch public test builds for game testing. All players who have purchased The Matchless Kungfu will automatically unlock the The Matchless Kungfu Test Server tool in their libraries. Details regarding the test content and the availability of the tool will be shared in future Flying Pigeon Messages (announcements).

Summary of Update Content
Title System The Title System has been introduced, allowing players to earn and display unique nicknames that reflect their martial identity.
NPC Personality Traits NPCs now feature diverse personality tendencies. Unique combinations of traits make NPCs more distinctive and lifelike, enhancing interaction and immersion.
New Skills and Mnemonics This update introduces new skills and mnemonics. Additionally, new martial arts experts, including those with Transcendence-level mnemonics, are now available for players to encounter and challenge.
Sect Rule Optimization The rules and mechanics of sects have been refined. Players can now apply for enforcement authority, enabling them to perform law enforcement duties within their sects.
Resource Sharing in Construction When constructing or producing items, players can now directly utilize resources from all player-owned chests located in the same tile.
Musical Instrument Gameplay New melodies have been added for playing the qin (zither). Players will now hear beautiful music when performing.
Sleep to Skip Time A new feature has been added to allow players to skip time by sleeping, making gameplay more flexible and convenient.
Detailed Update Introduction
Title System
Players can now equip their Transcendence-level mnemonics as titles in the left-hand section of the skills interface. The equipped mnemonic’s name will become the player’s title.
NPCs with Transcendence-level mnemonics will automatically equip their most recently acquired mnemonic as their title.
Title Inclinations Titles will have various inclinations, represented by different colors. NPCs with different personalities will react uniquely to these inclinations.
For example: Upright individuals will gain 20 Disdain upon seeing an Evil-inclined title. Conversely, they will gain 20 Admiration upon seeing a Heroic-inclined title.
NPC Personality Tags Newly generated characters will now feature personality tags.

Each NPC will be assigned 3–5 random personality tags, forming a unique combination that defines their overall personality.
Impact on NPC Behavior Different personalities will influence how NPCs approach situations and interact with others.

Future updates will add more gameplay effects based on personalities. For instance: Compassionate NPCs who work as doctors will offer 50% discounted treatment prices. They will proactively assist players in poor health.

Open World Enhancements
Invite NPCs to Drink or Relax in Hot Springs
NPCs who join a player’s team can now be invited to drink or relax in hot springs. This helps them recover Spirits and alleviate Hidden Ailments. Each decoration item has a limit on the number of NPCs it can accommodate. Players need to cover the costs when inviting NPCs. Fees will be deducted immediately upon invitation; insufficient funds will prevent invitations. Players do not need to pay fees when using their own table decorations, but they must prepare wine and cooked dishes in advance. Each NPC consumes 1 wine and 1 dish during their visit.
Feeding Function in Help Menu
A new “Feed” button has been added to the Help Menu.
Players can feed items to NPCs with a Favorability of 100 or higher.
Sect-Related Enhancements
Post-Elimination Actions
After destroying an opposing faction, players can immediately choose whether to inherit the abilities of that faction. NPCs from defeated factions will apply to join the victorious faction (randomly assigned). Sect Rules System Optimization
Adjustments ensure that sect rules are only violated if the player is caught by NPCs. Players can now apply for the authority to enforce sect rules themselves.
Construction and Crafting Optimization
Resource Sharing Within the Same Location Players can now select resources from their backpack or the inventory of any chests they own within the same location when producing items or constructing buildings.
New Feature: Sleep to Skip Time
A new feature allows players to skip time by sleeping.
Lute Music Enhancement
New lute music has been added! Now, playing the lute will produce music.
