Under Surveillance Limited-Time Event
Play Trials in the Under Surveillance Limited-Time Event or complete Amelia's Tasks to acquire Event Tokens for the exclusive Rewards featured in the Amelia Catalog before the end of this Limited-Time event on April 22nd at 10am ET.
Once the Under Surveillance Limited-Time Event ends on April 22nd, the catalog will be removed, and any unspent tokens will be lost.
Year 1 Anniversary Task Rewards
The Year 1 Anniversary special set of Tasks will be available to complete until April 22nd at 10am ET. As a reminder, the one year anniversary items up for grabs include: an E.S.O.P. skin, a Player Border, a Player Icon, a Legendary 1 year cake Cell Item, Epic Night Vision Goggle skin, one Epic shirt, one Epic pant, and an Epic Headpiece.

Amelia has succeeded in creating a brief means of ESCAPE! Reagents can now attempt their own getaway from the Sinyala Facility!
Murkoff won’t let go without a fight. Doubling down on the highteneded surveillance already embedded in the Trials, the risk of being exposed to the all-seeing eye is greater than ever before in the newest update of The Outlast Trials now available on all platforms.
This update includes:
New Gameplay Event: “It’s time to Escape!”

New Gameplay Event: “It’s time to Escape!”
“It’s time. I’ve gimmicked the Trial Shuttle to take you to the escape; you can call it from the terminal. Act like nothing’s out of the ordinary, I’ll keep this running as long as I can, but Murkoff’s going to realize something is wrong. Go now!”
The Escape
Reagents, this will likely be the only chance we’ve got… Now is your chance to Escape the Sinyala Facility!
With the help of the schematics that were collected, Amelia was able to hack Murkoff’s Trial Terminal. Interact with the Terminal in the Sleep Room to commence your Escape.
Assemble your group! You can attempt the Escape with up to 4 Reagents.
Don’t miss your shot at freedom, it may never come again.
Under Surveillance Limited-Time Event pt.2
“For reasons solely based around your safety during therapy, we have temporarily heightened surveillance in our Trial environments. Falling under the scrutiny of our all-seeing eye will alert staff to any nearby hazards.”
Continue your progress by completing Part II of the Under Surveillance Limited-Time Event as Murkoff tries to fight against Amelia’s Escape plan.
Secondary Objectives
Find the Escape Plans scattered throughout the Trials to help Reagents escape the Murkoff Institution.
Find the Television Broadcast and watch the Amelia’s Escape message before Murkoff does.

Limited-Time Catalog: Amelia ENDS April 22
Show your support to Amelia by unlocking and wearing the exclusive cosmetics available in the Amelia Catalog.
Acquire Event Tokens by completing Under Surveillance Trials and certain Tasks.
Make sure to use all acquired Tokens before the event’s completion on April 22nd. All remaining Event Tokens will be lost.
Reagent Reborn Experimental Changes
Since our 1.0 Launch, Reagents have amazed us by completing over 1.3 million Rebirths! As we mentioned in our previous Blog Post, the Season 3 update will be coming April 22nd and the Sinyala Facility will usher in some changes to its Reborn scientific experiment/Rebirth initiative in order to improve the Therapy. As of the Season 3 update on April 22nd at 10am ET, access to the Rebirth hallway will be closed off for the near future while we retool the Reborn procedure.
Now is the time to test your resilience and attempt becoming Reborn! Remember that you can obtain exclusive Legendary Outfits when you become Reborn, as well as Trophy Cell Items when you hit 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, and 100 Reborns.

Hotfix Patch Notes | Under Surveillance - March 27
Greetings Reagents,
We are deploying a small patch to fix some issues that have been reported since our latest update!
The issues our team has fixed in this patch:
Fixed the Pitcher not spawning.
Fixed an issue where the player could crouch jump infinitely.
Fixed an issue where room clues for Kidnap the Mistress were localized to the language set in-game therefore not matching the way it is labelled within the Downtown map. All room clues will now be labelled in English for clarity.
Fixed an issue where Night Vision Goggles were misaligned after players equipped them in their Sleep Room Cell.
Fixed an issue where some players were unable to complete or claim their Weekly Task rewards. We have reset all Weekly Tasks and players can now complete them again for extra rewards.
And various other minor bug fixes.

These new items are costly and require a significant amount of game time.
Additions/Fixes/Balancing
Barricade Rig: Can now play be deployed in more doorways and window frames.
Blind Rig: Base deploy decreased to 4 seconds (was 5 seconds), the upgraded is now 3s (was 4s).
Jammer: Jammer can now open automatic mannequin gates.
The nearest Revive Syringe location is now displayed to teammates when someone from the team dies.
Replay Introduction now displays a confirmation popup before launching.
The “Introductory” Difficulty has been adjusted for enemies to inflict less damages and move slightly slower.
The “Psychosurgery” Difficulty has been adjusted to slightly increase enemy speed.
The “Stay Together” Variator has been removed from Escalation Therapy.
Using the “Regroup” quick chat action now places a regroup icon on the ground at the player’s location.
Programs: A new visual indication is displayed for Trials completed in other difficulties than the one that is currently selected on the Trial Board.
Posters: Posters are now ordered by type (Weekly Programs, Events, etc.)
Settings: Added a new option to toggle mouse smoothing.

Project Breach is underway and we wanted to share our Roadmap of what's coming as the season progresses! After Winter Kills, get ready to dive into Flashback Therapy, where you’ll experience the best Limited-Time Events of 2024.
Note: Flashback Therapy will not reinstate the Catalogs, only the Trial variators.

Project Breach | Hotfix Patch Notes - Dec. 13th

We are deploying a small patch to fix some issues that have been reported.
- Fixed an issue where the Skinnerman triggered mine traps that players hack using the Jammer Rig. - Fixed an issue where Franco would get stuck patrolling. - Fixed an issue where players could get stuck during the final sequence of "Pleasure the Prosecutor" in Downtown Trial. - Fixed issues with various cosmetic names. - Increased NPC spawning for the "Pleasure the Prosecutor" Downtown Trial in Psychosurgery to reflect the intended difficulty level. -Fixed an issue where the Scapegoat would not die after having his last lightbulb destroyed.
