Small Update (V1.042)

Not being able to get any new upgrades after lvl 14 made later loops less interesting. So you can now keep earning gold even after reaching maximum level. This should also make going through new zones more worthwile. Later zones sometimes felt grindy if your build was lacking damage, so i reduced health of some enemies.

  • Bullet upgrades now add special attribute if weapon has less than 2 attributes (previously you only got special attribute if weapon didn't have any attributes)

Small Update (V1.040)

While doing some testing i noticed one more bug so i decided to do quick follow up update. I thought that i might as well give small buff for some of the weaker items. Cockroach felt by far the worst defensive item so i did small rework for it.


  • Fixed arena bonuses not working with Strange Guns
  • Cockroach now gives 20% damage bonus while at 1 health
  • Increased Suspicious Mushroom attackspeed from 10-100% to 20-100%
  • Increased Reload Gloves reload speed from 10-20% to 15-25% (It was actually weaker than intended)


Small Update (V1.039)

Arenas felt somewhat grindy with so many enemies. There was also lot of idle waiting time in earlier arenas, since enemies died so fast. Arenas should now feel lot more fast paced with lower respawn times and reduced number enemies.



  • Reduced number of enemies in arenas from 24 to 18
  • Reduced starting respawn time from 10 to 6.6 - 9.6 seconds depending on zone
  • Fixed bonus health from cave buff not being calculated when buying Greed (Wizard's exclusive item)
  • Fixed player losing levels when entering second loop portal while above lvl 12
  • Some other small fixes

Small Update (V1.038)

Wasn't really planning on making any major updates, but i felt like game was lacking those juicy rare items. Once you have beaten zone boss there is now small chance to find arena items from shop. Completing arenas will increase your changes to find these items. This would also make completing arenas feel more worthwhile since there would be permanent benefit. Also this might encourage players to try items they would usually ignore.

Small Update (v1.036)

Some of the new items were feeling bit underwhelming, so i tried to do some rebalancing. Burn damage from fire weapons was also feeling really weak during later levels, so i did small rework for burn damage. Painfully long animations are finally shortened. This had been on my todo-list for very long time, but for some reason it always slipped my mind.



  • Reduced ninja mask cooldown from 5 to 4 seconds
  • Magic spheres now gain up to +50% attack distance after few seconds (Making them bit more useful against flying enemies)
  • Frost hammer's bonus damage is calculated after frost status is applied (First hit now also deals bonus damage)
  • Magic staff now has new possible stat for spinning speed (maximum +100%)
  • Frost thrower and Iciclegun now deal up to 25% bonus damage based on frost status
  • Iciclegun base damage reduced from 4 to 3.5
  • Increased travel speed of sawblades
  • Afterburn damage from fire weapons in now increased up to 100% when maximum burn duration is exceeded (Flamethrower, Flaregun & Dragon Launcher)
  • Reduced duration of opening and ending animations
  • Fixed yeti boss and penguin boss dealing collision damage if their jump attack got interrupted (They are only supposed to deal collision damage during jump attack)
  • Reduced frost thrower hit sound
  • Fixed Frost thrower appearing as spidergun in end stats
  • Fixed magic staff special ammo consumption being too low
  • Fixed police not having guaranteed fruit drop from spider boss & dragon boss

Long waited update is finally here!



Whats new?

  • 3 new zones
  • 3 new characters
  • 9 new weapons
  • 26 new items
  • 16 new achievements




There is now 1 unique item for each character to further differentiate their playstyles.


New item 'Champions Belt' will increase chance for arenas to appear. New arenas are probably going to be hard for most players, but this should help lot if you are going for 100% completion. Note: you will have to complete atleast 1 arena before this can appear on shop.


Some changes and fixes for old content:

Changes:

  • Increased miner's bomb damage scaling up to 15%
  • Increased shocking lasso damage by 12%
  • Increased cave buff bonus health from +15% to +20%
  • Ratman's flamethrower damage reduced from 2 to 1. Flames now ignite player dealing 5 damage over time.
  • Time limit for unlocking time mod increased from 7 to 8 minutes
  • Completing arena now unlocks arena buff for logbook even if you choose weapon as reward


Fixes:

  • Items in UI now appear on second row when there is more than 16 items (items would sometimes go out of screen)
  • Items in end screens & records now scale if there is too many of them
  • Fixed super ability flashbang sometimes bouncing to wrong direction
  • Fixed parrot sometimes attacking more enemies than intended
  • Fixed parrot sometimes not targeting small flies when it killed big fly
  • Fixed "Reinforcements have arrived!" text not appearing with some languages
  • Fixed potential error with bow
  • Some other small fixes

Small update (v1.034)

Looks like achievements stopped working after i updated to latest version of GameMaker Studio. I have now updated to latest version of Steamworks SDK and steamworks extension so they should be working again.

Small update (v1.033)

After some consideration i decided to tune down some of the harder challenges. Difficulty of fly curse and later arenas should be now more reasonable. Spring gloves are getting small nerf. Bonus melee range ended up feeling bit ridiculous with sheriff's recent buffs. Helicopters have felt like paper considering their massive hitbox, so they are receiving bit more health.


-Number of flies from fly curse reduced from 3 to 2
-Maximum number of enemies in sewer arena reduced from 4 to 3
-Maximum number of enemies in city arena reduced from 4 to 3
-Spring gloves bonus range reduced from 30% to 25%
-Helicopter health increased from 40 to 45
-Fixed hunter's bonus damage not being applied to heavy bomber
-Fixed some ending messages not showing up when using metro
