After a year and a half on Steam, and nearly 6 years of existence, we are unfortunately forced to close the servers of The Ultimatest Battle by May 9th.
As you may have noticed, we were unable to continue adding content, because of a lack of resources, for almost a year now.
We have made sure to keep UB online for as long as possible, and it has been several months since we starded using our lastest reserves.
This difficult decision has obviously been taken against our will, but closing the game today does not mean that it will never be reborn: if the Ediogames situation allows it we will be happy to open UB once again, we will obviously keep a backup of all your profiles and your inventories in this context.
In this regard, we intend to provide a simplified version of UB, hosted on a less efficient server and located only in France.
So you will always be able to play shortly after UB closes: you'll find your account and your inventory, unfortunately many features will no longer work, and the only active server will be located in the north of France.
Continue to follow us on social networks to be aware of the UB simplified version!
Since we are in the middle of Easter, we opened one server per region in Harvest mode.
With exceptional condition, come exceptional measure: we have also opened a "MELT" server by region. You can enjoy Zombie, VSB and WTF modes before the game closes on May 9th.
On behalf of the whole team: a huge thank you to all of you who accompanied us on this epic journey that was The Ultimatest Battle!
We will not be able to quote here all the incredible contributions that you brought us; between FanArts, replicas of weapons, proposals of all kinds, and mutual aid between players: the UB experience was above all a human adventure which each of you participated.
You can be proud to have been part of this extraordinary indie experience, made of sharing and battles always so crazy and epic!
Since our first tests in summer 2013 the community of Nubs has only grown in number and sympathy.

Halloween is coming!
Hi everybody !
You have been without news for a while now, and you may heard that we have been unable to add new content to UB for some time.
Yet Halloween is fast approaching, and we still provide the Zombie and VersusBoss special modes until mid November!
Throughout this period, various Halloween past items will be available on the shop, to complete your collection of monstrous equipment.
As tradition, by opening an Event Rune you have a chance to get a Rune from the previous year, allowing you to go back in time to acquire older weapons!
Exceptionally, you will have the opportunity to buy several Runes of different years, the "oldest" Runes being obviously more expensive than their younger sisters.
Do not hesitate to consult the items temporarily on sale in the shop: Halloween weapons and hats will be available for a limited time!
To finish, the seasons of XP ranking are back: Reach a certain level of accumulated experience, or be part of the first 100 Nubs of the ranking to earn various awards every 2 months!
To keep you up-to-date with seasons and rewards, consider to check out the leaderboard tab directly from the Game Menu.

Take part in the second XP season
Hello everyone,
The second season of XP ranking started on UB!
Participate in this season accumulating as much experience as possible in order to reach the highest position in the leaderboard, and get rewards!
Just like the previous season, you only need to reach a step of experience to guarantee you gifts.
Be part of the first 100 Nubs of this season to get better rewards, including items in "Season Reward" quality!
The second season will last until July 31, 2018, so you have exactly two months to assert your superiority!
The list of goals and rewards is available directly from the Leaderboards menu.
Reminder: Only the seasonal classification by XP brings you gifts, the other ladders are indicative.
Reminder²: The leaderboards are updated every 6 hours, so do not panic if you do not see your XP increment in real time.

Harvest mode and Easter event
The Ultimatest Easter event just began, and will last until April 16th!
■ Harvest mode
This mode will be available for the duration of the event.
Collect eggs by digging the field, and bring back as many as you can to your base.
The team that brought the most eggs to its base at the end of the allotted time wins.
There are three different eggs: the blue and red worth 1 point, the yellows ones worth 3.
You can see the eggs of your team's color across the field.
Each Nub can only take one egg by one, with the exception of the Glutton who can carry 3.
You can directly pick up the eggs at the opposing base.
When you carry an egg, you can not be under the effect of enchantment invisibility or invincibility.
■ Egg rankings and awards
During the event you will win Golden eggs as end-game reward, in any game mode.
These eggs can be exchanged for several rewards: from the simple weapon to the brand new Easter grave in "Authentic" quality!
Get as many Golden Eggs as you can and be one of the Top 100 Harvesters of the Year to win an exclusive numbered Golden Ladle!
Eggs exchanged for rewards will still count in your total eggs harvested.
Finally the three Easter pets (Tack O'Bell, Easter Tack O’Bell & Chocofowl) will be obtained as end-of-game reward for the duration of the event.

Leaderboards Update
Hi everybody !
After a wait longer than expected, we announce you with great pleasure the return of the awaited leaderboards!
The different ladders are now visible from the UB Community tab.
You can find the rankings by XP, by CK, as well as the seasonal classification!
The first season started on March 14th, and will end on April 30th. This test season will last exceptionally 1 month and a half instead of three, which will allow you to get your first seasonal rewards faster \o/
Only the seasonal classification brings rewards at the end of each season, the other rankings are purely indicative, and allows you to compare your scores to those of other Nubs!
If you notice that your experience is not updated in real time, don't panic: the rankings are updated every 6 hours.
We let you discover all of this for yourself, and start to refuel XP to fight for the highest place in the seasonal leaderboard :D

Celebrate the feast of love on UB
Hello everyone !
We are February 14th, world day of Love and Spiel: Take part in our Pick-up Line's event until the end of the month!
■ Pick-up line's Day
Log in before February 28 to receive an exclusive pink hat for one of your Nubs!
During the event, you will get a Giveaway Chest for every 300 Ubies spent on the store.
These giveaway chests must be used during a game, and will offer a random gift to another player on your server.
Using a giveway chest on a server with at least 8 players, you will receive the special title "The Lover" highlighting your selflessness and generosity.
You can also try to win several gifts from the event by transmutting Runes: in addition to the item it contains, you will also have a chance to get a Giveaway chest, a grave or a pet!
■ Ladders
Celebrating Valentine's Day is cool, but we were waiting for the leaderboards!
Patience patience, the rankings will arrive just after the festivities of the Pick-up Line's Day, for a season that will exceptionally last 2 months instead of 3: from March to the end of April!
The different rankings and seasonal rewards will be shown in game from the launch of the first season.

We hope you had a good holiday, and that first month of 2018 was as happy as you expected!
Here is what awaits you for the next update: the long-awaited arrival of the Leaderboards!
As you may have guessed, ladders will allow you to know where you stand among UB's most experienced Nubs.
Different rankings and sub-rankings that you will be able to consult:
■ XP Leaderboards:
-Seasonal Ranking: With this ladder, you will allow you to be in direct competition with all the other current players. You will be able to see the 100 players with the most XP since the beginning of the season, as well as your place in the leaderboard.
Each season will last 3 months, at the end of a season rewards will be awarded according to your rank.
-General Ranking: This ladder allows you to see the top 100 Nubs with the most amount of XP.
■ CK Leaderboards:
-General Ranking: Allows you to know the players who have accumulated the most victims on only one of their CK weapons.
-Total CK Ranking: This ladder allows you to consult the list of the 50 players who have accumulated the most victims on all their CK weapons.
-Weapon Ranking: You can also check the list of the 50 players who made the most kills with a particular weapon. Note that the alternative appearances of the weapons appear in this same classification.
■ Guild Leaderboards:
-XP Ranking: Highlight the 25 Guilds with the most experience points.
-Quest Ranking: Allows you to know the 25 Guilds that completed the most common quests.

A seasonal ranking with gifts! How to make sure you get the rewards?
Seasonal ladder will be systematically spread over a period of 3 months, during which the experience you accumulate will be counted.
When a season comes to an end, rewards will be awarded to the 100 Nubs with the most experience, as well as a consolation prize for players who got beyond the symbolic stage of 100,000 XP.
A new quality "Season Reward" will appear at the end of the first season, which will allow you to spot items from a specific season.
All rewards will be communicated to you from the beginning of the season, we hope it will satisfy and motivate you to give the best of yourselves!
■ FAN-ART CONTEST RESULTS
After waiting a month, here’s the top of our Christmas fan-art contest.
As usual, it was hard for us to decide between all your Ultimatest creations. The participants that didn’t make it to the top will still receive a tissue in « Reward » quality.

2017 Christmas Event
Happy Holidays !
The Christmas event just started on UB, enjoy the end of year festivities until December 29th included.
■ XMAS EVENT
From December 15 to 29, collect a maximum of Ice Tokens to get exclusive items from Christmas 2017!
Remember to collect the daily rewards of your Advent Calendar, a gift per day awaits you until December 25th.
Get your Ice Tokens by accumulating "Ice Fragments" throughout the event:
-In end-of-game reward.
-By finishing your daily quests.
-By participating in your Guild quests.
-By collecting it directly on the ground after killing an opponent.
By combining 4 Ice Fragments you will get a brand new Ice Token, which you can use from the Main Menu for the rewards of your choice.
As tradition dictates, exclusive items to the Christmas event can also be obtained as end-of-game rewards at a low rate until December 25.
The different gifts you can redeem with Ice Tokens:
-Christmas Accessory Chest: Costs 5 Ice Tokens, contains a 2017 Christmas accessory and a Lottery ticket.
-Christmas Hat Chest: Costs 10 Ice Tokens, contains a 2017 Christmas hat and a Lottery ticket.
-Title: Costs 20 Ice Tokens, grants you the new title "Cryo Genius" and a roll of Lottery tickets.
-Tomb: Costs 20 Ice Tokens, grants you the new grave "Fireplace" as well as a roll of Lottery tickets.
-2016 Christmas Chest: Costs 25 Ice Tokens, contains a lottery ticket as well as two Christmas hats 2016, or a chest of the previous year.

When you open a 2017 Rune, you have a slight chance of getting a rare bonus item: "The Sleigh Bazooka"!
■ GUILD QUESTS MODIFICATIONS
The Guild Quest System has been revisited so that all your allies can have their Guild Tokens, even if they were unable to participate in the quest.
Now a member of your Guild connecting after the end of a quest will receive his Tokens at his connection, as long as new quests do not replace the previously completed quests.
■ FANART CONTEST
Remember that you have until the end of the year to send us your creations, either by posting them on the Hub of the Steam community, or by sending them directly by email to support@ediogames.com.
There is no imposed theme: drawing, sculpture, video etc, we accept everything your brain can imagine!
In any case remember to tell us your nickname in UB so we can easily give you your rewards, or consolation prices.

Beginning of the Christmas event
Collect Ice Fragments and Ice Tokens while playing games and completing your daily quests (and guild quests as well).
You can then exchange your tokens for exclusive Christmas items.
Envoy our snowy maps Overmine and Moon.
Guild Quests
We have changed the way Guild Quest rewards are distributed so that players who could not participate in the quests (for example, because of their login time) can still receive rewards.
You can now retrieve a quest reward in one of the following ways:
by participating in this quest
by logging into the game after this quest is complete (and before it is replaced by a new quest)
Misc
A notification now appears at login if you earned guild tokens while you were offline
