Added a dedicated event at the end of the Gargantua fight for when you defeat the boss with a device
Added a dialogue option that allows you to learn about the big boss before the fight
Changed the BGM of the last scene in the Power route
◆ Skill Adjustments
Extended the cooldown time of Overdrive and Master of Magic
Added a 2 CP cost to Master of Magic and raised the MP cost to 400 (from 300)
Adjusted the strength of Master of Magic
Added an effect to Overdrive that halves the cooldown of Skills used in its duration
◆ King Adjustments
Buffed the king ┗Replaced Bowgun Snipe with Toxic Shot ┗Replaced Flash Orb with Paraflash Shot ┗Adjusted the strength of Royal Strike, which can also now be used without a wind-up action ┗Adjusted the strength of various other skills ┗Adjusted his status ailment resistances ┗Tweaked his stats
Changed the final boss BGM to a dedicated BGM track
Changed the background for the fight against the king

Added translations for a previously untranslated Skill (Instant Thrust)
Fixed a bug where using Writhing Vines to make a trap during the Gargantua fight didn't use up the item

Selecting "Beginning of Chapter" upon getting a game over in Chapter 3 will now put you back in the village as intended

The Use of Life - Misha Route Chapter 4 Update Out Now!
Dear all,
Thank you so much for waiting! In this update, Goshe's journey with Misha continues in Chapter 4!
The chapter after this will be the final chapter of this route. The choices you've made up to this point will decide Goshe's ultimate fate. As the begininng of the end, Chapter 4 pits Goshe against even bigger and badder foes, and battles are more fierce than ever. On top of that, all of the advanced classes are now fully unlockable. Make use of the new and incredibly strong Skills to beat these new opponents!
We're planning on announcing the update schedule for the Final Chapter of the Misha Route after the Chapter 4 update has settled down. Please look forward to future announcements. First off, sincere apologies for the delay of Chapter 4. Thank you very much to those who have been patiently waiting. After coordinating with PLAYISM, I am happy to report that we've decided on a release date!
Drum roll please...We are releasing Chapter 4 on---

But wait there's more! We are also currently in the process of raising skill levels, balancing, and looking into further bugs/issues so please bear with us. Again, we appreciate everyone's patience and we can't wait to share what we have in store at the end of this month!

Here's the status update for October.
We're finally nearing the end of development for Chapter 4. And I've gotten all the artwork commissioned too, which is a huge relief. I'm about to work on the skills for advanced classes, and I'm putting a lot of work into balancing and related aspects of the game. Once that's done, Chapter 4 will be more or less finished!
So what's next? I think we should be able to release Chapter 4 sometime in mid-November. I originally wanted to release Chapter 4 and the final chapter together, but it's been quite some time since the last update. I'll continue to discuss with PLAYISM to decide on a definite release date.

And here's a sneak peek of some new artwork! This is the last mid-boss out of the 3 you'll meet in Chapter 4.
I'm going to make this guy's battle just a little more unique. You won't be able to defeat it in one battle, and will instead have to fight it multiple times while using certain mechanics to deal with it.
What else should I do... That hole in its chest really looks like it should be shooting lasers, doesn't it?

It's September. Here's a status update.
As you may know, I've been feeling kind of sickly in July and August, but lately I'm finally starting to feel better. I've felt sick for so long that it had almost become my new normal, but now that I'm getting better, I can look back and realize... That I was NOT doing great at all. I couldn't focus because of how tired I always was...
And since that was going on, well, uh... y'know. My progress is... not great. I still haven't finished writing the events for Chapter 4. I'm wailing in misery. I've said this over and over for a few months now, so I bet some of you are starting to doubt if I'm even doing anything at all.
But I am!! I'm making the game! I've made so much progress and I'm moving forward!! Trust me!!! Look! I even have new art to show you...!
Here's a new battle background, and the portrait of a mid-boss. He looks sooo cool. I like him a lot. I'm making several unique mid-bosses for Chapter 4, so I'm putting a lot of hard work into the battles.
------------------- Since I'm recovering now, I've gotta work even harder to make up for the time I've lost. At the very least, I plan to finish writing all the text for Chapter 4 by mid-September, so that I can pass it on to the translators!
