Hello everyone!

We would like to share a roadmap for The Warhorn.

Please check out the whole Road-Map and feel free to leave your opinion!


In the stage I we don’t want to add any massive additional content. The game is big and we want to do a huge clean-up like game balance, fix critical bugs, remove unnecessary content. But don’t worry, in every update there will be something new.

We don't want to give you specific dates about the releases of individual stages, because every stage will consist of smaller updates and it's really hard to estimate it. We want to give you an update every 2-3 weeks and we'll keep you informed about the progress. When the game will be ready to move to Stage II we'll let you know!

In the stage II we want to develop and expand village systems. We want to make it possible to expand building by adding new custom fragments and new functional buildings. Furthermore, monsters invasions will be something new and you will have to keep your village safe!

In the stage III we will make fight more spectacular. We'll add more challenging bosses, polish magic runes, add enchanted swords and bows that will be really useful for fighting monsters with specific resistances.

Hello everyone,

We are glad to say that a new version of the game is available!

FIXED:



  • Save removal after any update
  • Creature dead body physics (wolf, deer, ent).
  • Changing the sword to another tool required a double click.
  • Jumping after dodge.
  • Default map was removed after reading a new one.
  • When the sword was hidden the camera didn't go back to FPP.
  • Heavy Magic Armor sometimes couldn't load texture properly.
  • Double arms when equipping armor.

ADDED:



  • New places on the west coast in the main island.

  • Drinking potions and bottles from the bar doesn't hide sword anymore.
  • The shield ability has been removed, you can use the shield from the start of the game.
  • Removed the necessity of having knife for creatures loot.
  • Removed the necessity of flint for torches.
  • Zoom while using the bow in TPP.

The Warhorn Update - Ver. 0.9.5.34


Hello everyone,

We are glad to say that a new version of the game is available!

FIXED:



  • Clicking on The Warhorn after ending cutscene, was causing black screen and reload game was required.
  • Character was shinrking during ending cutscene.
  • After dash in fight mode, attack animation didn’t perform properly.
  • Log errors on dedicated server.
  • Mine building had visible white plane.
  • The following additional localizations are now available
    - French
    - Polish
    - Chinese Simplified
    - German (WIP)
    - Russian (WIP)

ADDED:



  • New fence decoration in the village.

  • Signposts to the dark forest.
  • Three new places with monsters and treasures.

  • New monster "Ent"

  • New clearer quest tab in character menu widget.


CHANGED:



  • Increased the brightness of inaccessible buildings on the building tab.
  • Mount Camp was moved to other place.
  • Sword fight is only available in Third-person camera. It was really difficult to adjust sword fighting in both cameras' view so we decided to allow it only in TPP. This change give us possibilities to add more combos and fights will be more enjoyable.
  • Stretching an arrow in a bow is faster
  • The paper map has been updated.
  • The monsters are stronger

The Warhorn Update - Ver. 0.9.4.23

Hello everyone,

We are glad to say that a new version of the game is available!
In the last two weeks we have focused on Dark Forest, that place was unfinished and poor.
We moved Dark Forest to other location and give that place a new life... or maybe death?

FIXED:



  • Spamming the spacebar in a gravity dungeon shot a character up into the ceiling.
  • Falling damage.

ADDED:



  • Outlines when hovering chests
  • Added Skeleton Wizards near circle temple.
  • New Bright Sword.

  • New Dark Forest.



CHANGED:



  • In houses and buidings it is brighter.
  • The paper map has been updated.

The Warhorn Update - Ver. 0.9.3.20



Hello everyone,

We are glad to say that a new version of the game is available!

FIXED:



  • Difficult enemies will no longer respawn everywhere.
  • You can destroy carriage in your village with an axe or hand now.
  • Ghost of custom building stairs had wrong collision and caused character flying.
  • You can’t place a torch holder on another torch holder anymore.
  • Disabled collision in torch holder, you can’t jump on it now.
  • Skeleton Warrior displayed name.
  • Fixed shadows: bench, carriage, carriage2, carriage3, city_gate, city_tower, alchemist buildings, barn buildings, palms.
  • Get on mount in FPP caused disappear body.
  • Place stairs against the wall was impossible.
  • Caves parts no longer disappear on medium view distance.
  • Ghost material of custom buildings: Wall_Sandstone_Ghost, Stone,Brick,Sandstone_WallRoof, Roof_Wood_Ghost,Roof_Stone_Ghost, Doors.


ADDED:

It's a great pleasure to announce that The Warhorn is further developed.
Apologies for our absence. At the beginning we released a small update.
New version of the game is available! We hope you'll like it!

- Direction of punch was always forward

The Warhorn Update - Ver. 0.9.1.0


Big Changes:
- The map changed - many empty areas were removed in order to leave only important places on the map. That saved around 44% of the total map size, so loading times will be shorter. That change also influenced rendering time when playing the game so everyone should see additional frames. But also there is enought space for you villages, so don't worry! :). We want to create as dense and as interesting a world as we can. That's why we decided that we need to remove some empty places. It's also the first step for creating a traveling system. The next step is to add boats that players will be able to use to travel.

- Shadows were changed/optimized. On ultra settings you will get an extra 7ms on rendering shadows, which can lead to an additonal 20 fps (eg. GTX 1060 - we have got 20 fps more comparing to previous build). Low shadows settings can give you even 40 fps more comparing to previous game build. There is still work to be done about shadows in order to make them perfect, but we wanted to release a new system as soon as we could.

FIXED/CHANGED:


- Vendor in the village won't eat food from the storehouse
- Fixed saving feathers, tallow and leather in the storehouse
- After killing a few animals in the barn player got resources only for one
- When killing animals in the barn, player didn't get leather
- Amount of light in dark places like caves, dungeons, houses. Now it's brighter so you will be able to see and fight enenies when exploring the world.
- Lowered prices for fast travel system
- Opened entrance to the pyramid in the jungle island (Puzzle was temporarly hidden and will be used in the future update)
- Torches bug - when torch got empty, new one was spawned and attached to the hand so player got two
- Lowered fall damage 4 times
- Changed color and brightness of items that player can't create in crafting window and in building window
- Position of in-game tutorial to make it more visible to players
- Friends that are visible (By using Q button) vanished when player opened any window and didn't appear when player closed it
- More money when starting the game (now random number between 650-750 coins)

ADDED:


- Faster walking and running on dirt and sand (around 20% faster)
- Tutorials for:
- Using Shields
- Mine in the village
- Using swords instead of tools to kill creatures

Hello everyone! New version of the game is available! We hope you'll like it!

FIXED:


- First person animations and camera movement
- Mispellings in quests
- Added: feather, tallow, and leather to the storehouse
- New location of a key for the door in the jungle pyramid
- Now players can't enter houses in the old town using windows, but they can lockpick doors
- Saving placed trophies on the walls
- Location of the mark on the map is under player's location mark
- Night hunters sometimes didn't vanish after a night
- Coin bags falling through the floor
- Saving Rupert's package in save file was corrupted
- Problem with picking items in the inventory from the top row when talking to NPCs
- Leveling walls/gates with the hammer caused problems
- Some armors didn't need any resources to fix them on an anvil
- Flower king's quest bug, where destination point was in the air
- The key next to Adam when respawned, couldn't open his door
- Players can't lockpick closed chests that are owned by other players
- Problem with '/spawn' command that teleported player in the air which caused death
- Placing ladders in the village (client didn't see ladders)
- Hen trying to disassemble a wall of a building, the game wouldn;t allow to do so with a message "it's not mine"
- Fixed collisions of dead animals with buildings

ADDED:


- Health regeneration system when hunger and thirst is greater than 98 poins
- Vertical synchronization in the game settings
- New respawn system for creatures (World will be more alive and dense)
- New mine building for the village
- New building for the village: Fixing station for fixing elements and buildings
- Magical stones that player can encounter to get crystals
- New system for placing flowers on newly created roads (now you don't have to build a greenhouse)
- New system to fix situation if player will fall under landscape

The Warhorn Update - Ver. 0.8.3.2



Hello everyone! New version of the game is available! We hope you'll like it!

FIXED:


- Castle walls and gates. Now walls and gates are the same thing. By default you build walls, but when placing them you can press MMB to change a wall into a gate
- Items were disappearing when looting a body that was fully filled with items (by using take all button)
- Flower King quests are grouped – not in the ‘Talks’
- Finished Quest are now on the bottom, not on the top
- Flower King’s quests didn’t give an achievement
- When travelling to snowy Island, it didn’t give an achievement
- Small informations during the game were appearing and diseappearing too fast
- Optimization of rendering torches that were put into holders
- When destroying a greenhouse building, all flowers will disappear instantly
- Fixed sword fighting – when dodging character sometimes jumped instead of doing a dodge
- Hungry villagers didn’t die

ADDED:


- Creating roads in the village by using a hoe, that you can craft
- System of selecting specific quest to see the destination (and a distance) during the game. (Not all the quests have the possibility of seeing destination, for obvious reasons)
- Lights in the townhall storehouse
- 2 New hairstyles for a female character
- Informations in the building window, when something can be built (needed village level)
- Descriptions of buttons in the stats (an eye, a key)
- ‘Close’ button in the tutorials during the game
- New tutorials about fixing building with a hammer
- Visual and sound effects when a tool breaks
- Sounds when placing flowers
- Empty bottles are stackable now
- Every drink is stackable now
- Tutorial for a hoe
- Quick deposit button for chests. It will transfer items only from the inventory, not from the fast selection bar
- Server password is now hidden when entering a server
- You can place a ladder in the village
- Storehouse in the townhall works the same as the general food strehouse (list of resources)
- When a villager doesn’t have anything to do and when there is wheat to cut in the village, he will automatically do it
- Villager will automatically put wheat into the food storehouse
- NPC’s will eat any type of meat now – not a specific type
- You can place a well in the village
- Villager will automatically bring resources into the village. Each time he places items into the townhall’s storehouse, he’ll check what items have the lowest quantity and he’ll try to bring that one

All the servers were wiped for the new update.
