AI CHASER STABILITY FIX (CRITICAL PATCH) Replaced Event Tick with Timer-Based FakeTick in the AI Controller to reduce unnecessary CPU load and ensure consistent behavior across all hardware.
Added IsValid safety checks throughout the AI Controller and Behavior Tree Tasks:
Player references and pawn targets are now validated before access.
Prevents Accessed None crashes caused by perception of destroyed or unloaded actors.
Removed deprecated Trace by Channel damage logic, which was improperly targeting outdated damage interfaces and causing sporadic crashes on certain systems.
Cleaned up MoveTo Player and Frozen State BTTasks to fail gracefully when their targets are invalid, instead of crashing or locking behavior trees.

The Wickie 2.0: Fully Voiced 3D Characters Arrive May 16 in Free Update
🕯️ From Cardboard Cutouts to Living Souls — The Wickie 2.0 is Coming We’ve completely overhauled every major character in The Wickie.
Where once you met two-dimensional cutouts — silent, static figures — now you’ll encounter fully animated, fully voiced 3D characters with unique personalities, voice actors, and interactions. Captain Malin, the sailors, the scientists, the strange residents of Pandora’s Rock — they’re alive now. And they’re waiting to meet you.
🎭 Every voice is real. 🧍 Every character now moves and exists in full 3D. 💬 Every conversation adds depth to the world around you.

Patch Modification to 1.2.4 (Maps) to address CTD Errors (Priority)
This patch is to address CTD caused by moving from mapzones to main mapzones where there is no interval map.
Hotfix to address navigation issues.
This is a small fix for navigation issues for AI pathing effected by the previous main release update.
Build 1.2.4 "Maps (They don't love you like I do)" is now LIVE.
CHANGES. =========
MAP ----- New Feature - The Main Map. You can now see where you are in the world by opening the Map (currently pressing M which is remappable to a game console button!). You can view where you are and where to go on the main islands - Gondola, Asylum Rock and Pandora's Rock now and the map dynamically switches between each.
MAP MARKERS ---------------- NPCs and interesting items and things are now marked on your main map and also on the new minimap for you. Some items and markers will ONLY appear on the minimap so that you can locate hard to find items when you are near them.
MINIMAP ---------- The minimap is now open all the time showing where you are, what you are near and which direction you are facing!
MAP NAVIGATION ------------------- Need to get somewhere? Right click in the main map to set a marker and then just GO! Note that the directions given may be dangerous or outright wrong. That is because it deliberately has no idea of the secret passages and so on.
MOBS AND NAVI. ------------------- Mapwide navigation for NPCs is now enabled. Beware. More mobs are incoming. The "Oh its a gun" update will be coming soon. Perhaps.
Build 1.2.4 - Loading screen update
This is a minor update to fix issues regarding the loading screen not appearing when you are playing the game. This is a cosmetic fix aimed towards players who needed to be aware that the game was loading and not crashed.
The Wickie - 1.2.3 "Octopink's Magical Railway" patch.
This patch addresses issues from streamer Octopink that due to accessibility issues, she was having problems with the large walkway from the upper engine room to the pliades pillars and up to the black gate.
This also adds some fixes to the lever system for the black gate not working properly.
