Thea 2: The Shattering Kickstarter campaign launch September 18th!
As we prep for the final stages of campaign and also get ready for our EGX Birmingham appearance, we're going to share lots of Thea 2 news over the next six weeks. This will include talking in more detail about the mechanics of our new card game as well as many other exciting features we're currently developing. So stay tuned!
16th May Stability Update
Hi everyone,
If you're wondering what today's update is - we've had a test version on beta branch that was built with a later version of Unity in an attempt to improve game stability for a small number of players that experience occasional crashes. Today we're moving this build to the main branch. If you notice any problems with this version please let us know!
UPDATE:
So looks like this version helps some people, but cause crashes for others, so there's another build, made with yet another version of Unity. See below.
- if you were getting crashes before this update and the update didn't help - try "beta" branch,
- if you were not getting crashes, but you are now - you can switch back to the version before update - pick "pre-may" branch,
- if the update fixed your crashes - sweet, don't use beta branches at all.
Sorry this is so complicated, but we have not found a better way to handle this issue, which sadly appears to be engine - related.
Thea: The Awakening coming out on XBox One and PS4 on May 31st!
It's been a long road, but we've finally arrived. The full, single-player, version of Thea: The Awakening is coming to consoles.
You can pre-order on XBox One from May 17th as well.
Now, this is a Steam forum, yes, but if you have friends who only play consoles (yeah, I know...) or you fancy having a copy of Thea to play in the living room, spread the word! ːsteamhappyː

P.S. In other news, development of Thea 2 is going well. We have set a date for Thea 2's Kickstarter to September 2017, and we've booked a space for the EGX Birmingham, also in September, so keep your eye out for more news coming soon.

Hi alll, today's small update fixes one voiceover file that turned out to be unedited and quite colorful (thank you Ethan!), and also fixes two spelling errors found in the meantime.

We've got two small fixes for you today:
- resolved the issue with input text fields on the Event Editor, they should let you scroll the text to the bottom without problems now;
- fixed a rarely occurring soft-lock at the end of a turn.
