Contest Terms:

Hello Chief!
The game just received another amazing update that comes with a new wagon prisoner mechanics, performance, and many other game improvements alongside multiple fixes.

NOTE:
You may notice that all patrols disappear from the game, they will be sent by different groups in a couple of game days.
This patch changes a lot of technical aspects of the game, and while we've been looking to improve performance and memory usage, you may encounter new types of issues related to rendering, crashes, etc.
As always—if after patch game starts to stutter heavily or look like a broken game, perform a repair using the launcher repair options.
In order for the game to work, make sure to update to the latest version of the game by running the launcher and clicking on update. The previous versions of the game are not compatible with the new server so the update is mandatory.
Major Update: Patch 0.0.2.10093
Patch 0.0.2.10093 is now live with farms, wagons and more!
Farms and Wagons added:
Farms add another layer to the world development. They will produce Grocery—an item which is used by other groups to level up their members. The farm sends wagons full of Grocery to the nearest populated camps over time (but only when the player is far enough). Players can poison the Grocery while they are on the farm or traveling in a wagon. The Poisoned Grocery will kill camp members over time (but, again, only when the player is far enough from said camp).
As a result, the new farm mechanics work best when you silently enter the farm, take the Grocery there, poison it, return it into the containers, and leave the farm vicinity. Within a few game days, you will notice that some camps are losing their members due to the poison.
Potions re-balances:
We believe the way potions worked before (instant health regeneration) is not a good thing because you could take an enormous number of potions with you, and you can be invulnerable for quite some time. Now, most potions will heal over time, but in combination with other potions (such as max health potions) will provide subtle new combinations.
AI refactoring:
We have created a new animal AI which works considerably better than before. Human AI was reworked to make it more competitive and challenging. As always, AI improvements will continue.
Animation update:
We have improved numerous things in animations to make them more appealing. Such improvements will increase the immersion and gameplay experience.
Sound update:
We changed the way how the sound engine works, and now it provides better sound positioning and balance.
Another pass on optimization:
We spent some time on optimization, so now, the game takes less memory, and you can expect better framerates. Optimization is still not final, and we will continue to make improvements as development progresses.
UI improved:
We changed small but essential things here and there to make the game slightly more convenient.
Enemy Camp Names:
We renamed the enemy camps to present them with more fitting names according to the camp type (such as forts, trading posts, etc.).
Bug fix:
We squashed numerous nasty bugs (like losing your horse on save) and introduced new ones so that you will have a good time finding them and as always, report them so we can exterminate them for you in no time!
