Patch Notes

Newly Added:

• Social trading: players can now trade with one another through the social tab.
  
• Warriors sent to attack an enemy camp will collect as much item as they can hold (maximum weight limit) once the camp vanishes before they return to their camp
  
• Warriors will loot the vanished camps (all enemies already killed) when sent to attack
  
• “Take all” button added to item containers, stunned enemies and dead bodies for faster looting
  
• More stealth kill and interrogation animations have been added
  
• Game saves on fast travel
  

Tweaks and Adjustments:

• Trading fixed and reworked. It will work a bit different as it was before
  
• Improved sight for friendly warriors
  
• Improvements to some of the animations
  
• Ragdoll improvements
  
• Wood, gold, iron, lead production area icons update
  
• Enemy patrol group icon updated
  
• Lowered the fort gate opening sound volume
  
  

Fixes:

• A camp icon moving around the map has been fixed AKA “walking camp”
  
• ALT-click menu fixed
  
• Arrows show by the NPCs cannot be picked up anymore
  
• Moving groups such as patrols spawning on top of the player has been fixed

• What is the game about?
  
  This Land is My Land is an open-world stealth action game set in the 19th-century American frontier. Players take the role of a Native American chief in the resistance of the onset of the settlers.
  
  
• Who are the developers?
  
  This Land is My Land is being developed by Game-Labs—a small international indie team. We are most known for the Ultimate General series and age of sail MMO Naval Action.
  
  
• How many people are working on the game?
  
  A group of four, extremely dedicated developers are working 70+ hours a week.
  
  
• What platforms will the game be available on? Will there be Console release?
  
  Initially, the game will only be available on Windows. Other platforms (such as Xbox One and PS4) are under consideration. As a small team, working on different fronts at the same time would not be ideal for us.
  
  
• What distribution method will be used to release the game?
  
  We plan to use Steam as the main distribution service, at the moment we cannot provide information about other online distribution services or physical copies of the game.
  
  
• Is the game on steam yet?
  
  You can wishlist the game on steam right now.
  
  
• Is there a release date?
  
  We plan to move into Early Access stage of This Land is My Land in Autumn 2019. The full release will be the next step after.
  
  
• Approximately how long will this game be in early access?
  
  The early access stage is expected to last six months to a year. That will allow us enough time to polish the game thoroughly and include all the features we have planned.
  
  
• How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?
  
  When the game reaches full release, it will include all the planned contents such as trains, carts, numerous settlements and additional quests among other things. It will have fewer bugs and issues because we will be focusing on fixing those during the early access stage. We plan to continue adding more content even after the full release of the game through updates and DLCs.
  
  
• Can I support the development process or access the game now?
  
  Certainly! At the moment the game is available for purchase in the form of preorders. Some of the packages will give you instant access to the current stage of the game. Please check the preorder page on our website.
  
  
• Will this game have multiplayer or co-op? Will the game be single-player only?
  
  The game is Single-Player only. There is no synchronous multiplayer features present, but it will feature an online component which will allow players to interact with each other within the game under the social tab. This is not to be confused with actual co-op gameplay.
  
  
• Is a persistent online connection required to play the game?
  
  The game requires an online connection, though even the lowest quality is acceptable. The internet is used during log-in and in-game social features.
  
  
• Is there controller support for the game?
  
  Yes, the game will have controller support.
  
  
• What languages will the game support?
  
  For the time being, the game is only available in English. However, several other language supports will be added later.
  
  
• What engine is the game built on?
  
  This Land is My Land is being developed using Unity 5.

  All footage was captured in-game during early development and are actual screenshots.

  It is created by a good friend of the studio—Dmitriy Saratsky
  
  
• Will you continue to support the game after full release?
  
  Yes, we plan to keep updating the game and expanding it with more features and contents.
  
  
• Are there any plans for future DLCs?
  
  We plan to have DLCs for the game that will add additional contents. However, it is too early to talk about what the DLCs will include.
  
  
• Can I upgrade to a higher package of the game?

  That is still under discussion. It will undoubtedly be available until the start of early access stage. We are debating if we should keep it available after that or not.
  
  
• Is there a story in the game?
  
  There are various quests and objectives in addition to random encounters. The central premise is that you are the chief of a small Native American tribe fighting to take back your people's land and lead the tribes in the process. You create your narrative in this dynamic world.
  
  
• Is the game based on historical accuracy?
  
  This Land Is My Land is not a simulation game. It unfolds at a specific place that represents a time when the Native Americans were cornered in making a tough choice of assimilating with the foreign civilization or perish into history.
  
  Our goal is to provide you with a Native American experience, unlike any other from a different perspective of the typical frontier game. The enemy will learn, adapt, and adjust their tactics from the actions you make and keep each playthrough dynamic and unique. They will remember and predict player actions and continually pose a threat to taking back your lands. That is the kind of experience we are delivering to you with This Land Is My Land.
  
  
• Why Native Americans?
  
  At Game Labs, we always try to bring unique perspectives into the games we create. This Land Is My Land, fills the lack of a Native American perspective, allowing you to become a fearless Native American warrior. We understand this is a sensitive topic for many, but we still took on the challenge to create it, and we can reassure you it is not about who was right or evil or promoting stereotypes. We are immersing you in a unique game world.
  
  
• What tribe does the player represent?
  
  There are no set specific tribes in the game.
  
  
• How did you go about writing a story from the perspective of a Native American?
  
  We always do extensive research on subjects we chose to make sure our games are relevant to the context they cover. That includes the active involvement of the community during development. In terms of the story, This Land Is My Land lets you create your narrative, and find your way in the living, changing world. Due to the nature of the game's systems, each playthrough will unfold differently because the AI will also adapt to the actions and decisions of the player. The geographical landscapes will remain the same, but camps, cities, mines, patrols, animals, hideout, allies, and many gameplay aspects will be different for every player.
  
  
• How big is the map?
  
  The map is over 100 mile square playable area.
  
  
• Will there be character customization in the game?
  
  There will be some customization features but not one that will change the looks and sex of the character.
  
  
• Can we play as a female character?
  
  There are no plans for female characters at this moment.
  
  
• Will there be more melee weapons? Spears, war hammers, more knives, etc.
  
  Melee weapons are currently used for stealth kills. We like the idea of switching your primary weapon to kill or stun by using knives, tomahawks, or clubs. However, this is not in the works yet and will remain under consideration.
  
  
• Will there be body armor?
  
  No, we do not have plans for body armors.
  
  
• Will there be enemy tribes?
  
  We have not decided on this yet. Currently, all the tribes are friendly.
  
  
• Can warriors ride horses?
  
  Yes, we will implement this feature.
  
  
• Will there be player-to-player trading?
  
  Yes, this feature will be available as part of the social tab.
  
  
• How does the Karma system work?
  You start with neutral karma (grey), and it is directly co-related with your actions and playstyle. Both positive (blue) and negative (red) karma have unique benefits of their own. You can play as you like.
  
  
• Is there a button for taking all items in the game inventory system?
  Yes, hold shift and press left click on the item’s “take” button.
  
  
• Can I participate in voice acting for the game?
  Yes, you can! Check our voice acting channel on our official Discord server for more information.
  
  
• How do I report a bug?
  
  You can report a bug by pressing F11 in the game and filling out the information.
  
  
• How do I take screenshots in the game?
  
  Press F12 to take high-quality screenshots with the built-in system. Depending on your system specs, it might take a few seconds to generate the screenshot.
  
  
• Where does the skill points under the social tab come from?
  
  It is generated from the player actions, and it can be redeemed across all your resistances (game saves/profiles).
  
  
• How do I add the founders’ edition bonus of adding a name to the enemies roster? How does this feature work?
  
  You can add a name to the enemy roaster under the social tab. You can also track how well the character is doing in the whole game universe. The character you created will also appear in other player’s worlds.
  
  
• How do I get the unique bow as founder package owner?
  
  You can collect it every 2 hours under the social tab in-game.
  
  
• How often do you release updates?
  
  That can vary, but we release updates very regularly. Usually, once a week at least, but it all depends on the complexity of the patch, among other things.
  
  
• Will there be game progress wipes?
  
  Most likely not. So far, we have had none, and we strive to keep it that way unless development of the game forces it due to technical reasons.
  
  
• What is the best way to communicate with the developers and the rest of the community?
  
  You can communicate with us and our fans via our official Discord server, social media, and forums. Discord would be the best way.
  
  
• Will there be a wiki for the game?
  
  Yes, there will be an official game wiki.
  
  
• Do you have a public roadmap for the development of the game?
