New Space Game - Capital Command - Announced, Releasing in 2021
Friends, pilots, space cadets!
I have the great pleasure to announce Capital Command, a game about epic battles between giant space warships.
Capital Command has the same innovative physics and flight mechanics of Thrust&Shoot but, instead of fighters, you get to fly big iron: corvettes, destroyers, cruisers and battleships!
With many different ship types and an extended, procedurally generated campaign, Capital Command will provide endless hours of freefall action.
The game is currently in progress and will hopefully release come Spring 2021. Wishlist now!
See you up there The dev
Version R.2.1 Is Now Live
Greetings pilots
This version includes a number of tweaks and improvements. Details follow.
The ship's propulsion has been upgraded. The ship now thrusts slightly better and propellant consumption is slightly reduced. To compensate, damage to the engines now causes a more significant reduction in acceleration.
The audio warnings for low fuel and low hull now stop after 10 seconds. They start playing again whenever your ship takes more damage or consumes fuel again.
The Obstacle Course mission is now easier to complete and flows better. The requirement for Bronze medal is now simply to complete the course (time is not an issue). The Silver, Gold and Ace medals have had their requirements slightly relaxed. The final part of the course have been reworked to make the experience more satisfying.
Missile trails in the Point Defense scenario have been significantly reworked. They are now better looking and consume far less resources. The time between enemy missile attacks has been increased and a few bugs have been hopefully fixed.
The Assault mission is now slightly easier to complete for Bronze.
The overall intent was to fix obvious problems and reduce the difficulty for Bronze medals, while preserving the game's unique flight experience.
Good luck and good hunting!

State of the Game: Price Reduction!
Greetings to all pilots and future pilots!
First and foremost, sincere thanks for your interest and support. Also, apologies for the very long silence and lack of updates for Thrust&Shoot. This will change from now on.
The plan for the next few months: a patch and a price reduction. The patch will reduce difficulty for all missions (for Bronze medals, at the very least) and some performance improvements. The game's price will be greatly reduced and it will start featuring in Sale events so interested players can get it even cheaper. This will hopefully occur during Spring 2019.
The plan for later on: more missions. This is the biggest problem for Thrust&Shoot, as was pointed out by basically everyone. Unfortunately, missions are very difficult and time consuming to design, implement and test. So this might take a little longer.
Thanks for reading, hope to hear your thoughts

Update to Version R.2.0 Is Now Live
Greetings, pilots
This update brings reworked gun gameplay, reworked cockpit visuals and several other updates and fixes. Details follow.
Guns are now easier and less frustrating to use. Instead of requiring reload after a set number of rounds, guns now overheat while firing and cool back down after a short duration. If you keep firing while the guns are overheated, you run the risk of jamming them, effectively rendering them useless for several precious seconds.
The game is now fully playable with mouse alone, if the middle button is assigned to "select enemy in front". The keyboard is still needed to scroll and sort the list of all contacts and to select the nearest enemy. The default keyboard&mouse configuration has been updated to this control layout.
Your ship's cockpit has received several improvements. Its position inside the ship has been tweaked to improve visibility. The tactical radar display has been removed. Its functionality has been merged into the navigation radar, whose surface has also increased by almost 50%.
Other, smaller improvements include tweaks to missile guidance and enemy fighters' AI, several other cockpit visual fixes and improvements and many more.
Looking forward to your thoughts on these changes
Fly safe and good hunting
New Version Live - R.1.3
Just a few small fixes to the in-game music and Bronze medal requirements for the Point Defense mission. More updates are coming later on. Have fun and good hunting !
Release Version Live ! Let the Music Play !
Thrust&Shoot: Flight School will soon be leaving Early Access. It's been a ride ! Thanks to everyone who took a chance on an unfinished, unpolished, buggy game and helped me bring it to its current state.
The game's price has also increased to its final level. I will officially remove it from Early Access as soon as the final preparations are completed.
As for this version, the biggest improvement are music tracks which play during high-intensity moments. There are also a number of other, small tweaks and fixes, both technical and balance-wise.
Have fun and Good Hunting
Version EA.11 Live
Greetings fellow pilots
Besides a few tweaks and fixes, the Settings menu is now working and allows you to choose graphics quality and a few gameplay options.
Let me know if anything is missing from settings that you would like to tune. I can't promise I'll implement it, but I will certainly look into it.
Thank you
Version EA.10 Live !
Grab your joysticks and gamepads, or stick with mouse&keyboard. Also, controls are now fully configurable, so you can mix&match to your taste.
I'm looking forward to your feedback and suggestions.
Have fun and good luck

Version EA.9 Live !
Greetings pilots
Version EA.9 brings a rework of the first mission, Obstacle Course. The track now takes you around and between asteroids, it has been extended both length- and time-wise and you'll find a couple of enemy bases that you have to level as quickly as possible. Additionally, version EA.9 includes updates and improvements to the other missions.
From now on, development will focus on adding joystick and controller support, controls, options, settings and final polish for release. If all goes well, the game will leave Early Access in the first quarter of 2018.
Good luck and good hunting
Dogfight mission live ! Merry Christmas !
Greetings everyone !
The Dogfight mission is now available to play ! Have fun dodging ordnance and shooting enemy fighters out of the sky !
And as always, there are also a number of other small changes and fixes.
