Following the release of our 'A World of Plague and Alchemy' trailer last week we've been taking a quick look at abilities in Thymesia and how they alter your combat style.
We'll be doing deeper dives into the two core different ability types on the lead-up to launch, including the range of abilities available, how they behave in combat as well as how you can unlock them.
Until that time comes though, here's a preview...
Plague Abilities - Ranged in action
Thymesia's 'Plague Abilities' are powerful moves that the player learns by cleaving them out of the enemies they face.
From area of effect damage, to knockdowns, chaining and creating distance they all bring something unique to your skill-set.
Below you can see one of the available ranged Plague abilities in action:

Corvus Abilities - Feather 'Blink' in action
In Thymesia we're keen to empower our players with the ability to tailor combat to their own playstyle.
For example Corvus' feathers can be used to interrupt heavy (red highlighted) attacks for a defensive approach, or as shown below used as an aggressive gap closer to re-engage an enemy and continue their onslaught.

That wraps up today's post! We look forward to sharing more with you in the near future!
