Main feature of this patch is that now if someone is afk, we can flag them and move on to a new game.
As always, you can't play with people in a different build version than you, so make sure to update the game tell your friends to update the game. If you're in the game right now, make sure to pop out and get the game updated so you can play with other people.
Added a red button to flag hosts afk. If you see idle hosts, you can flag them and move on to try to find a new game. If you’re a host who was incorrectly flagged, you just click the red button that appears on your screen and unflags you.
Added a chance to see some of the non-demon lord bosses prior to first meeting them in the story. Once you’ve beaten them in the story, they’ll show up more regularly.
Corrected the tooltip for storymode when not the host.
New storymode icon.
Moved over the reset floor button and changes its icon temporarily.
Fixed a bug that caused a black screen on some maps.
Fixed a bug showing the damage dealt to your pets when you detonate them.
Summoner Evasion talent now also activates instantly when you summon a new manahoar or gargoyle.
Summoned Gargoyle damage increased by 5%
Fixed a bug where some summoner detonations were doing exponentially more damage per enemy hit.
Shadow Strike now correctly hits more than 1 enemy.
’Big cube’ unique pet hp degen increased for behemoth and gigahoar
Summoner crystalquake talent now also reduces energy cost of brutes.
Added a tooltip for Corruption unique for summoner.
Fixed a some errors with summoner detonate displaying numbers incorrectly.
Boss ability Summon Swarmer damage reduced by 10%.
Boss ability ‘Isolation’ damage increased significantly. Beware.
Rogue unique ‘Prophecy Dagger’ fixed.
Rogue Blood Dance bleed damage increased 15%.
Knight Slash damage increased 4%.
Skeletal curse skeleton hp reduced 16%
Update 53
Couple of quick fixes. Note that if you're running an older build than anyone else, you won't be able to play with them. Make sure to log off Tor Eternum and let steam update to the most recent build any time there's an update. You can see the current version of the game in the bottom left corner.
Hellblood unique for warlocks no longer crashes the game
This update gets the demo build of the game up to date with the cleaner code of the beta, which has fixed a number of desync issues several balance changes.

Launch is upon us
It’s been a long and interesting journey. Special thanks to all the beta players, alpha players, and kickstarter backers who helped get us this far.
The game will be released Friday evening 8PM EST For $12.99 USD, on 10% launch discount. If anyone wants to hang out in discord. I’ll be in one of the channels playing the game, streaming to steam, and making sure things go as smoothly as they can.
I hope everyone enjoys the game launch.
Additionally, I want to announce that the content doesn’t stop at launch. There’s a handful of furniture features that just barely didn’t make the launch cutoff that I’ll be working tirelessly to get in expediently. They should be in within a week or two. And there’s a mountain of future content on the to-do list, like steam achievements, lobby quality of life features, and more fun stuff.

We've been working hard since the Kickstarter in March 2021. The last release date announcement had a minor complications with Steam's internal scheduling.

Storytime- Beta Release Patch .0032
This game update heralds the launch of the game's Closed beta to select kickstarter backers. We'll be doing closed testing until the launch of the game in July to make sure everything is stable, fun, and runs well.
Specifically, this patch is the initial launch of the game's story quests, which give some greater context to your goals in the tower and some background on each of the character's motivations.
Patch Notes .0032 Story Start
-Story quests added. Tor Eternum now has a story you can playthrough to discover the lore behind each character and their journey through the tower. These story quests will reward unique items and progress towards an ultimate end-goal of beating the game. -New unique weapons/armor/trinkets. -New enemy models. -New boss abilities. -New exploration enemies & abilities -New furniture. -WIll be rapidly adding more new things during beta. All the assets are prepared, but we're going to release things one at a time during the beta. Look forward to new features coming soon. -Warlock Magic Missile volume adjusted down. -Rogue Secret Passage CD adjusted. Gear CDR can reduce it incredibly low. I know the way talent now increases its cooldown per player that enters it by a flat amount. -Warlock Dampening Field CD adjusted. Gear CDR can reduce it incredibly low. Strategic protection talent now also increases dampening field’s cooldown by 5 seconds per player in the game. -This is a massive buff for CDR and those two talents while preventing cheese strategies of 10 players using CDR + those talents. -Crushing Slam stun duration nerf and frequency changed based on player number. -Fixed bug related to ‘alone’ talents that were counting dead things.. -Experimenting with slightly longer delay for win/loss to accommodate boss death animations and story RP. -Player melee range buffed by 7%. -Assassins and ambush archers are no longer immune to CC. -Calamity Brute melee range and size reduced slightly. -Calamity Brute attack animation changed from medium to slow.. -Fixed a map tiling bug. Fixes buggy crossover between brown/purple tilesets at certain junctures. -Fixed a bug related to which abilities story bosses have. -Fixed bug related to changing characters while about to do a story mission. -Story mode button text corrected. -Fixed a bug in the demo allowing them to play through an incomplete version of the game’s story. -Fixed Story mode and Random Quest buttons being reversed. -Fixed the Knight’s Aid upgrade range being increased. -Fixed Warlock Sentry talent being invisible and tooltip wrong. -Rogue Stealth bonus damage to Exploit Weakness buffed 20%. -Rogue Exploit Weakness base damage nerfed 25% -Rogue Mastery buffed 12%. -Rogue Resourcefulness buffed 30%. -Rogue Patient Assassin reduced from 330% to 300% -Rogue Pilfer potion healing increased by 20% and related healing talents increased by 200%.

The official release date of Tor Eternum has been set on July 1st 2022. We'd love to get the game in your hands sooner, but the reality is that it's just not done yet.
If you like what you saw in the demo, kickstarter, and youtube, there will be more content, more story, better functionality, a new playable character, and more fun.
